You can do around 50exp for each AFK game (which last at least 6mins) you do. That's around 500exp/hour without even playing the game. Why this? Because you earn Exp based on timeplay and not winning/losing. So playing the actual game is not an efficient way to earn rewards anymore :) bb!
So whats the problem? Easy wins, easy ladder ranks. Im not sure about this, but if a win grants you bonus xp you get more than them. So i think it‘s win/win :D

I don't believe you why would I have played priest in beta if I wanted to have fun then? but for real enjoy the game what do you gain for sitting there and hitting play again every few minutes if you forever do that then whats the point of doing that?

don't act like you're cheating the system. at the end of the day, you're still spending more time on hearthstone than you would be otherwise. I like this system more because it doesn't encourage everybody to play aggro. I have nothing against aggro deck, just with the old system, a control deck with the same win rate as an aggro deck would make less money in the same amount of time. I think this was a pretty fair solution, and I actually think you should be awarded more exp than what is currently being offered.

I am surprised that stuff like this is not prevented. Many other games won't allow you to start a new game for some time if you do that and repeated offense will end in longer bans. It says a few things about how badly planned the new system is. It is as if they went for "hey, everyone makes money with battlepasses let's make our own!"
BTW tested that. +35XP for sitting out one game. Brilliant. Not that it worth my time keeping hearthstone in background and distracting myself from work to reenter.
By the way I don't know where to ask this question so I thought I might find an answer here... Can I refresh daily and weekly quests to get ones which give more exp? For example can I refresh 1750 quest and get 2500 one? If its too much out of topic feel free to delete my question.
You can do this for dailies. But there is only 1 weekly quest that gives 2500xp and it is always 1 of the 3 that you get each week, so no point in refreshing the other ones in hopes of getting more xp (you can still refresh them if you'd rather have other ones but they will always be 1750xp)

If you really want to farm efficiently, just play WOW, farm gold on AH using addons, buy tokens with that gold, convert those tokens into Blizzard Balance then buy bundles and packs on Hearthstone. It's more efficient.

Well, one can keep Hearthstone in background while doing some other stuff. Sure it will eat some CPU power which means some electricity will be spent but it is not like hearthstone is bitcoin mining software.
I kinda like this new path of rewards, its cool, modern and stylish. But! It IS complete bullshit that they removed rewards for winning games. What is that? Before this patch we got "passive" part of income via quests like play 10 big minions or play 3 smaman games for example AND we also got "active" part - win 3 games get 10 gold. And that was petty satisfying and right. Now they cut active part and it is so frustrating and dumb actually. After u got desired rank in ladder it is no point in winning aymore. It is MUCH more exiting to get even small reward for winning and it is natural. Why not cut rewards for winning in Arena also? Just kidding. Please get rewards for winning back! I'm really upset now.

The real problem is the botting with roping in constructed because it makes the gameplay experience much worse for many players. Blizz should permaban those accounts ASAP.

'cuz it totally favoured aggro players and punished players for being on losing streaks. You get more XP for winning anyway I'm pretty sure.
however Blizzard created such an unfair game economy that so many players which have no cards and no good decks to play are willing to take the time and risk of ban by doing this stupid roping and grinding.
Blizzard should provide better game economy and card access to players.

Feeling an urge to ban someone when you dislike their actions is small form of fascism.
They need first update TOS to add a new rule like "not stopping the rope from reaching the other side of the board systematically will lead to account suspension". Then they need to explain what systematically means so people can work around that without getting banned as they always do :)

it allso reward bg players alot more since befor you only got 10 gold per 3x top 4 so its alot better for them

Systematic ropers should be ban, that's for sure,
