Rogue is my favourite class and I play highlander. I prefer it over the usual galakrond secret rogue. So as you can guess I play 3 secrets and Hanar and a stunner. Is it worth keeping for this deck? If not what could I replace it with? Will hanar regardless be important to keep for future expansions?
I am playing highlander rogue too and hanar is still powerful. It's worse if you play it on curve, but in mid-late game could give you powerful secrets that can mess the opponent plan. And you can adapt the secrets you choose to your opponent class. In adition to this, there are almost 2 years until this card rotattes, so If you like rogue I won't disenchant that card.
I have more doubts about removing stunner from the deck, because sometimes I need a sap and I miss the secret or the stunner.
Lol I’ve had more fun with that card in both wild and standard than any other card this expansion and it will be around for a good 2 years. My advice is keep it, it’s a swing card in games and can save your sweet bum bum on many occasions.
I mean you get a full dust refund so you can DE it see and just save the dust play without him and if you you miss him just re craft, you are not losing anything.
If your rogue deck is running multiple secrets, you absolutely play hanar. I have no idea what people in this thread are talking about. The only valid point is that you get full dust so you can craft later, but if you’re running a rogue deck that runs 3+ secrets, you play him.
Soft taunt, well-statted minion to praise, and still a huge payoff late game with a secret and lots of mana. People seem to think just because he’s now easier to kill that he’s not viable. He would be viable in any secret rogue even if he was a 1/3, because late game you just play him, a secret, and then have 6 mana to decorate your Christmas tree.
He’s also a value card that doesn’t thin your deck, which is incredible in a deck that already draws a ton of cards via other means.
1/4 isn't even that bad, and in the late game it's arguably one of the strongest cards a Rogue deck can have outside Galakrond shit. They did the Miscreant nerf, marginal without destroying the card.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Imo i dusted him. He is great, but for me not game breaking in most games. Because your focus is more on Galak, Kronx and Toggwaggle than Hanar. (Atleast for me)
I don't think you should. He has two more years of play in standard and he might turn the game around for you, if played correctly... And there are no big counters for secret right now.
I don't understand all the people saying to not dust it. There's a full refund right now! The best option is to dust it period. Obviously if right now you are playing it and you enjoy it, no point to dust it if you know you gonna re craft. But if you have even a slight doubt just dust it.
If the question is: will he see play in future? I think it's never going to be bad, but this is not necessarily enough for him to see play. Rogue has so many good cards, the secret package might not be the best alternative.

OP said that rogue is his favourite class and he is playing highlander. In highlander is still a very good card. The card is not played for its stats but for its effect. That's why IMO he shouldn't DE hanar

For sure.
Rogue historically play combo and tempo decks only. Hannar is a value card. If you need the dust, he's a good DE target.
The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!

keep it dude!

Just DE you don't lose anything. If you DE it's win/win for you. If you don't you might regret

Secret package is still the nuts and if you're using it, you definitely not gonna DE Hanar.

While you can still get full DE value, dust it. If you want it back at some point, just craft it again.
They might add a good secret tech card into the next expansion and make hanar useless. Who knows. I dusted him. It got boring anyway.

dust everything that gets nerfed usually imo

He has two years left. Don't de him.
