I'd cross mage off the list, not only I'd say it's the weakest of the 3 class you mentioned right now, but the most competitive mage deck is the highlander one which runs like 12 legendaries. Besides, if you plan to climb the ladder, it's a relatively slow deck with a lot of RNG... wouldn't advise that.
Secret Galarogue is really good right now. If you like the playstyle and can afford the 5 or so legendaries needed, why not. It's also worth noting that out of those legendaries, Kronx is good in any other Gala deck and Edwin will probably be a rogue staple for the next couple of centuries, so those 2 are safe crafts.
Hunter is always good. Highlander is about as expensive as rogue, although I'd say in the current meta it isn't quite as powerful. All the neutral legendaries used in Highlander hunter are great and safe crafts (Zephrys, Dragonqueen, Maiev and Siamat) that can fit in a lot of other classes. You could also go for Dragon Hunter; it's a lot cheaper and seems less popular and not much talked about right now, but I assure you it's still a powerhouse. I personally like it especially for climbing, relatively short games, almost no RNG and cool dragon synergies. Face hunter is also an option. Probably unpopular opinion: the version with Teron and deathrattles sinergies isn't the usual stupid "smorc me go face" deck it used to be, it's also quite fun to play and not so easy to pilot.
Outside of those classes, your next best bet is Tempo DH.
So overall your option are: 1) Secret Galarogue 2) Highlander Hunter 3) you can probably do two of your choice between Dragon hunter / Face hunter / Tempo DH.
Tempo Demon Hunter is your go to guy. He made me a LEGEND boy for the first time ever in HS.
a F2P player only needs to craft the two DH Legendarys of AoO and youre ready to go. No previous Set Legendarys required, and you got most of the DH cards from the Prologue. Dust Cost efficiency at its finest.
and btw you should save the majority of your 12k Dust for the next expansion, because the general Powerlevel isn't crazy just yet, but it will be...
I've crafted Spell Druid for only ~2000 dust and I find it a quite solid deck that has carried my to d5 so far. Alternatively Tempo DH or Dragon Hunter (especially if you own the Gala campaign for Rotnest Drake) as mentioned above are also strong and cheap decks. Totem Shaman also might be another cheap alternative alternative. Finally Spell Mage doesn't cost too much either, but it seems to not be too strong in the current meta
İf you don't have majority of the cards don't go for rogue and mage go for hunter even meta shifts hunter is always viable but mage and rogue can become unplayable rogue always find a way but you might require craft New cards each time.
But most important thing is the creating what you enjoy some people think reaching legend is everything this game is about but no just play the game to enjoy.
Hunter is rather cheap and reliable class, other than HL which is not cheap and above-average reliable. The only leg that seems to be a must is dragonbane. Depending on your deck - 2xToxin reinforcements or 2x Weapon are must. That's it, here ends all legs and epics you MUST have. There's a face hunter that costs up to 3, only reinforcements cost anything there, stupid deck, but it has good w/r.
You have 3 decks, 2 face (up to 3 cost, and the good face hunter deck) and dragon hunter. I play 2 legs and 5 epics face hunter, but it had a blitz from plat 8 to 3 yesterday including 2 priests, 2 DH, and almost each other class once, while most face hunters pack 1 leg and 4 epics, so I'm currently highly unbiased. Dragon hunter does very well, you really can do with minimal dust there, and it's a stable deck (however, I only played it earlier this month before the DH release).
Minimal dust & Max w/r for me - spell druid, by FAR. One leg being given free, 2 glowflys, the rest are rares/commons. Beats mage and rogue, actually beat 2 rogues with shadowstepped filk on the way. AND the deck can win turn 5 if your opponent plays a braindead deck aggro (DH, pally, warrior).
as of right now, top decks in the current meta are galakrond rogue, galakrond warlock, tempo Dh, spell mage, spell druid(all be it inconsistent) and res priest, there are some good decks that are also not talked about, but the only one that i know that isn't really talked about that's really good is secret rogue. its a very strong deck that has a lot of good matchups
Historically speaking, the best investment is Rogue. Never in HS history has Rogue ever been trash, it has one of the best core sets so the class will always be somewhat competitive, not to mention it is very fun to play. DH is new so ofc they have to make it powerful, but who knows for how long? Rogue is a safer bet imo.
i made hunter deck but i got 1-4 lost to dh,2x rogue, priest pathetic, thx rly much for help guys its doesnt matter anymore fk this :)
5 games is a very small sample and especially at the beginning when you are still getting to know the deck it means nothing. Just keep grinding and see how it goes after you've played 50+ games
Any Demon Hunter archetype because it has all the very good tools plus they gave their free initiate set to everyone. Or Face Hunter, that deck never fails.
Face Hunter has almost always been the best free to play deck throughout the history of hearthstone, although zoo lock is often a contender as well.
Both are cheap, easy to play and the games are fast.
Ironically the AoO Face Hunter deck is one of the more expensive versions compared to the past versions, since it has 4 epics: 2 x Toxic Reinforcements and 2 x Augmented Porcupine. (Teron Gorefiend is also optional, but the deck runs fine without him). There have been past versions that have been made up with only common and rare cards.
The deck is effective as well, I've reached Legendary twice with Face Hunter, once before the new ladder and then also this season after the new ladder.
EDIT: It's highly effective against Demon Hunter as well, I win around 3 out of every 4 games against them. You simply out damage them, and they usually don't have a lot of healing. Priests are a nightmare though, it's very difficult to win against them.
to be sure i wont waste my dust i need opinions of pro players, which deck as a f2p player would u choose for uself, platinum 10, 12k dust?
Super open ended questions. What class do you enjoy playing? Do you have any other legendaries?

if ure dedicated for only one class then highlander hunter cuz you have then cards which you can use in other decks like zephrys and alex
Zocky

I love to play with this deck and all you really have to craft is Metamorphosis.
