Personally I'd rather be at the dentist then have to play through the stupid adventure. I know some people enjoy it and that's fine but why are we forced to play it to unlock the cards? The cards should just be given to us each week (provided you've bought the Adventure of course!). I have very little time to play HS (less than 3 hours a week) and I want to use the limited time I have to play the formats I enjoy and not waste an hour of my life playing against some stupid AI just to be able to get the cards I've already bought! * baby rage! *
Yeah, you should have the option to unlock without playing. Normal difficulty is way too easy anyway, which really makes you feel like you are wasting your time.
I honestly can somewhat understand the point of OP .
Sure Blizzard put quite some effort in making the adventure, and all the thematic flavor that goes with it, a d also the required time to get the cards is ridiculously low... But there is also the point of simply buying ( well later stages since the first one is free) a product and only wanting one thing you enjoy.
Like buying a Toolbox were you only need 5 of the 30 Tools included . Maybe they are useful later, maybe OP finds time or enjoyment in playing the adventure later but for now I can understand he just wants "that" thing out of the box/game.
* Buy the wings - get the cards straight away (or, at least, be able to craft them then get given equivalent dust if you later unlock it normally) * Complete the wings - get normal mode cardback * Complete the heroic wings - get heroic mode cardback
Those who want the card for competitive purposes aren't forced to do non-competitive content; those who want the cardbacks are able to get them, and as always those that want to do the adventure can do so.
30 mins to do all 6 fights isn't too long, but if OP has only 3 hours to spend a week on Hearthstone that's essentially 17% of the time (for the next 4 weeks, mind you) being thrown into something they don't enjoy, which isn't a good thing.

I bought the adventure for the cards. Nothing else. I have no interest in playing any solo adventures in HS. I don't enjoy them and never have. Just want the cards to use for ladder...
the cards need to be available out of the box, single campaign mode can give cosmetics (card backs, copy of some golden cards maybe a hero as a final boss reward)
and also few more things Blizzard need to improve in next adventure release:
- Cards provided should have more impact on the meta, more synergies etc.
- Card reveals must be much more organized and provide clear visibility when we get each card.
- The chapter per week schedule is very problematic in terms of real impact- streamers interest, deck building etc.
- Each chapter needs to focus on the cards and the synergy, and not just almost random order (probbaly the best cards kept to the final chapter, very problematic concept)
Wow, I didn’t see that much people complaining about adventures when naxx or black rock were out there. Newcomers start forgetting that in the past you should’ve paid for the cards and that was no big deal.
If you don't have much time and money, just craft whizzbang or play vs. a friend and borrow his deck. Don't worry about high ranks, do an arena or BG run.
Maybe they could unlock right away for some additional coins. This way they stay as rewards for most people and are available right away for the select few who don't want to play solo.
Normal in both previous adventures were under buckets, which are hair-tearing as you pick e.g. DR passive and get everything else. Last two expansions' adventures had tougher-than-before 1st matches, by far. Here we have 6 under that rate.
Now we get a deck that even when AI has god hand, it loses to verh bad choices. That's insulting, what's worse - we don't get alternate opponents or alternate decks, so it becomes not very replayable.
Heroic isn't a lot better right now, I beat the 3 "evil" league with half gala warlock, half what I thought might be ok, all standard, while the adventure is open for wild (which might be interesting at a point). EDIT - replayed, seems I got lucky against the 4/4 freezer a turn. With priest all fell, though I needed quest/wall to beat the last one.
I don't think the cards should be given, but since they're not buyable, I get the adventure thing. But the adventure right now isn't at all challenging. Heroic is at least replayable.

What are your thoughts?
It's because the cards are a "Reward", not a "Free Gift". You pay / buy the adventure and if you do well in the adventure, you earn new cards as a reward.
It's like expecting a trophy for winning a race, but saying you shouldn't have to run the race first because running is easy and boring and you just wanted the trophy anyway. Sure, other people might enjoy running and they can enjoy the race if they want, but I should just be allowed to pay to enter the race and just get the trophy without the hard work of running first.

Yeah nice try but this is not the same thing at all. 99% of people buy the adventure for the cards. The adventure is so easy so it's not like the rewards actually mean anything. If you have a pulse you can probably beat all the bosses first time. Having to play through it to get what you bought is annoying. To me at least. You should get the cards without having to play it. No problem if they add some cosmetic stuff like cardbacks or even hero skins for beating the adventures but not the cards.

its like 5 minutes a match

It doesn't matter. It's mind numbingly boring and so easy it borders on insulting. Total waste of time.

It’s a video game. Play level... get reward.

Why we have to play the game in order to play the game? /s
This is a good post.
This is like saying, "I already paid for WoW, why do I still need to kill monsters to get loot?"
You are not paying for cards. You are paying to get access to an adventure which, if you beat, gives you cards as a reward.
Yes I agree with you, i don't fucking care about adventures, it's such a waste of time, I just want the damn cards.
I'm sorry for my bad english :D
