Why the fuck would I buy an expansion to get legendary cards that are completely useless against the most dominant & stupid fucking deck to play against, bomb warrior. I can't believe there is a development team that's worse at planning than the Bioware group that worked on Anthem.

w/o a bomb warrior nerf insight, I spent my July/August videogame money on The Division 2. Guess now I know why Brode left this sinking design ship.
People can say salt this, salt that, but I'm not mad. I just don't care about this poor game design to keep spending boatloads of money on it. I'm not whaling anymore, period. Maybe I F2P it but I doubt it, this game just isn't fun and no change in the future. And even if there was, the next op net deck would present the same stagnating issues.
The expansion isn't out yet so why would there be a nerf already? Bomb Warrior is a deck that will keep highlander decks in check. Let's nerf Weasel Priest, The Darkness and Hakkar and any other cards that put duplicates in your opponent's deck. Oh boo hoo, there will be a deck that can directly hard counter a highlander deck.
And don't use Reckless Experimenter as a point. Nerfing that card prior to Sn1p-Sn4p was released was to prevent an infinite damage combo.
Please think ahead for a bit, would any gamemaker (besides Artifact -kappa) make a set of cards that totally antagonises with the previous set(s)? The answer is ofcourse not it would be suicide for the game. They make these sets one year ahead you know.
Perhaps you play decks that are crap? Bomb warrior is your issue you're lucky then. I personally don't care for Murlocs or Pogos. I'll take slow ass bomb warrior any day.
Pretty sure a good mulligan of Finley will do just fine against a bomb warrior in being able to proc the requirements to upgrade a hero power at 2 mana before seeing duplicate bombs.
One should also consider whether running a highlander deck is even worth the reward of the card even if there wasn't a bomb warrior archetype?
YOOOOOOOU CANNNNNNOT EVVVVEEEEN USSSSSSE ANNNNYY OF THE CLASS LEGENDARIES BC OF BOMB WARRIOR! WTF did I just get a bunch of responses from the Bioware, uh, I mean Blizzard development team.
I guess they expected the bombs to be nothing more than a gimmick deck. It will be sad if we get a rock - paper - scissors format with bomb warrior and the Highlander decks. Perhaps a change to the mechanic will come in the new set patch, it has been done before.
I mean why is it not just at the start of your game condition. You build a worse deck to get a bonus. Imagine playing even decks and losing your Hero Power to bombs. Actually that would be really funny :D

I agree with Cronikz to some extent, if you go the mile to make a deck with only 1 copy of every card you have a certain disadvantage and the card text "at the start of the game" would be sufficient. But on the other hand there are reno decks that have copies of more cards in there for starters (like the mill rogue one) and use him later on so it would restrict deckbuilding in general. I actually run two copies of Conjurer's Calling in my wild reno summoners deck which works fine as you mulligan for that card and you don't need reno early on.
As for the bombwarriors, they are good enough at the moment and are easy enough to play, sure, but they can be dealt with in a manner of ways and i think we should wait wat kind of synergie blizzard has come up with, because you just don't create an amount of reno-type cards without thinking about existing cardsets, meta and archetypes, so i think @igotthis that you just don't get it, or are attention seeking for some reason.
People also don't take into account that the powerlevel of cards after rotation is set really low so that future sets can become more powerful, we've seen those waves happen over a couple of years now and are logical for the game to work. Weaker sets later on don't have impact and aren't fun, same with equally built cards that make stale meta's.
I think the current situation does not allow us to have a complete view of what the meta will be when the expansion launches. Several cards are still missing. I suppose that maybe the situation for highlander decks can be resolved (thinking about bomb warrior decks) via a simple tech card such as a neutral Battlecry "defuse" minion that may destroy all bombs in the deck on a low/medium mana cost that allows you to play Elise the Enlightened, Dinotamer Brann, Reno the Relicologist and Sir Finley of the Sands in the immediate. In this way the standard's highlander player can play its deck with its restriction disarming the bombs at least one time, and on the other hand bomb warrior can use wisely its resources to let this happen with the lowest amount of bombs at first to then fill the opponent's deck with an impressive amount of resulting "face nukes" ( having less cards in the deck on an advanced turn means that you have an higher probability of draw a certain card, so think about multiple copies of the same one ;-) ).
This will be one of the best scenarios and I hope that that card exists or will be released :-D .

Not good idea. since it will enable many broken combo shit.
It is simple tokens generated by openent shouldn't count as duplicates

almost 2 years^^ and still makes shit expensions
Also maybe a deck that will be very strong against Bomb Warrior will be so predominant that nobody would want to play bomb warrior anymore

warrior needs a nerf to many control tools the bombs arent the problem

nerf the weapons and it wont be so bad
Two bombs put into your deck makes the new legendaries useless.
Doesn't this belong in the salt thread?
If your deck has no duplicates
If your deck has no duplicates
If your deck has no duplicates
Bomb
Bomb
Bomb
Bomb
Bomb
Bomb
Bomb
Bomb
Bomb
Bomb warrior will be a natural counter. Personally I think that is acceptable as long as other archetypes counter bomb warrior.
