Tbh this one, atleast for me, its the most boring and uninteresting expansion. Maybe its just because of the time and the disappointment of the last expansions (i care a lot about the flavor of an expansion, e.g. blackrock and frozenthrone were fkin awesome), i didnt like the themes lately (especially rastakhan). But if i remember correctly they did it every expansion, i mean having a few days without any card reveal, or?
No reveals in 5 days hasn't stopped me from opening hearthpwn every couple of hours to check... Don't think it's killing the hype but man, I could def do with some juicy reveals!
They have stuck to the same release pattern for the last couple of years - there will be an announcement accompanied by a handful of card reveals, followed by 2 weeks with very minimal card reveals (in the single digits), and then ramping up in the last 2 weeks leading up to the expansion with an opening stream, 4-5 reveals a day by various "community" influencers, and a closing card stream/dump.
It's the exact same formula each time so I don't know why people are still surprised and posting threads like this. Just be patient.
30 days until the expansion launches they could definitely reveal at least one card per day. I agree with you they are killing the hype right now.... Pfff
I agree that this is normally how they do it but, like others, I would rather see a few cards per day instead of jamming them in all at the end. Oh well.
And as for the people that think this expansion is boring, we have seen a total of 9 cards (out of 135). It seems a little early to start judging the entire expansion, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Anyway, I hope they show a few more cards soon instead of waiting for 2 weeks like they have done in the past.
killing what hype? if you've watched grandmasters yesterday you've seen in what absolutely shit state this game is. this will be a very weak expansion for them
They 100% are killing the hype and they do the same every expansion. Who ever it is at Blizzard that thinks its a good idea to drop a few cards followed by a week of silence is a moron.

well, I am refreshing hearthpwn for new cards as well. I wouldn't describe it as "killing the hype" but it just feels like "disappointed". But things will change directly after release, as they always do. I just hoped they would start with card reveals already.
once the cards start flowing again, your hype will be revitalized. Then the reveal schedule drops and soon it's August and we're playing with the SoU cards.
I will say that they should let us know if they're gonna wait on showing card after an expansion reveal like this. We saw so many cards an mechanics, and we were excited! Then they revealed the shaman quest and we were even more excited on top of wondering if the reveal season was starting early!
Now it's been a while and no word on when these reveals start. Fells kinda bad.
I think they should have either given a reveal schedule with the shaman quest card reveal, or paired it with an announcement that they'll reveal cards "soon." Blizzard loves being vague, and we love getting any amount of information. It would be a great compromise.

I'm sure they'll pick things up now that the 4th of July weekend is over.

Missing lethal since June 2015.
Holiday weekend, kiddos.
It's no different to how they did the last expansion.
The reveals will come soon*.
Patience, folks! ;-)

I would rather be surprised with the cards and not have a full reveal before release... but that isn't going to happen.

Last expansion released cards also began very late. Lets be patient !
4th of july weekend.. we will have the reveals and announcements soon, hoping for a few today as well..
There is always a small lull between the announcement and releases. They have to send out cards and arrange times and ect.
