Played control warrior only with armor smiths and gatekeeper and farmed rogues to top 200 legend once again all the way from rank 2. Jesus christ I really don’t want to play warrior but I really have to play warrior with this kind of situation
I am so bored of peopele calling for nerfs. Yes, when a deck is 1% better than the rest, 30% of ladder play it. Now it's rogue. It used to be priest and hunter.
you can do two things:
1. Cry about it on the forums
2. Adapt your playstyle. It's not just warriors that do well against rogues. If you think Oozes/Harrison is not enough? It is in a lot of cases. Some heals/taunts work amazing. Just got beaten by a paladin with shit loads of removal/healing and Lightforged Blessing and pyromancer.
Yes I play rogue and get sick of playing against 30% warriors and the rest with oozes and other weapon removal. Then I play against rogue with ooze, then against hunter with ooze, then mage with ooze
That's exactly what they are doing... and you're whining about it.... even though you literally just said they could do it. /smh
/end sarcasm
Mmm-hmm. Which bit/s were supposed to be sarcastic? The self-contradictions or the whole thing? Helps to specify - uness you meant all your advice was sarcasm...?

Adapt your playstyle vs something that's clearly overpowered? LOL okey, let's build a deck that only does decent vs rogues and just lose to every other class on the ladder, exactly what I wanna do when I play hearthstone
Myras; draw your entire deck for 2 or 5 mana Raiding party: draw 3 of the cards in your deck you need to win the game every time Edwin: become a 8/8 on turn 2-3 and win the game automatically Miscreant: a 1/5 that provides 2 insane tokens Waggle pick: a weapon and shadowstep in one with 4 damage
I think a lot of the rogue problems come from Preparation and Edwin.
However, this is a bit of a chicken or the egg problem.
They were not completely broken in early hearthstone, because you didn't have rescourse generating cards, so they were all-in plays. Now you have raiding party and miscreant that negate all their downsides.
When you play Edwin with lackeys you didn't sacrifice anything, you played 2 insane 1 drops and got an 6 6 for no reason. When you play prep with raiding party you got a 0 mana arcane intellect (spend 2 cards get 3 ) with crazy tutored effect and tempo (0 mana 3 3s with a truesilver champion).
Why I think prep and Edwin are the problem, is because as a designer it's really hard to always design around these 2 cards. Miscreant and Raiding party while really strong, feel more fair without these 2. Also, I am not a fan of randomly losing games to turn 3 huge Edwin plays forever, those feel like barnes non-games.
To the people who think Rogue shouldn't be nerfed - don't you think it's an issue that Tempo Rogue is comprised of 60-70% basic/classic cards? (The current popular version with Wisps/Shadow Steps is closer to 70%, versions going heavier on Lackies is around 60%.)
There are 4 full expacs out, and Rogue is like, "nah, no thanks. Our old stuff is better." And Rogue got legit good stuff in RoS.

I don't think it's an issue that it uses mostly basic/classic cards - if anything, I think that just speaks to the power of a few other core cards in the last couple of expansions. Tempo/Miracle Rogue was always a potentially strong deck, but not like this. It's cards like Waggle Pick and Raiding Party that put it completely over the top.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
People whining about decks as usual I see. There Will Always be a deck that is better than the rest, can't we just accept that and leave nerfs to when a deck is really, really superior. Rouge is not that superior and the second they nerf it, something new will rise and everyone will whine about that.

How much superior is "really really superior" ?
Rogue on ladder is only countered by Warrior and in specialist format it is completely unbeatable.
I'm so bored of Rogue. I wish these nerfs would hurry up.
I'm hoping we will get a nerf announcement Thursday, at the same time as the single-player announcement.

Make Raiding Party 4-mana, in order to delay the turn 2 power swing of coin + prep + raiding party + edwin/miscreant.

They'll nerf it with 5 Mana Hex.
what does that even mean?
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
it is not only countered by warrior. Get creative.
It's a meme from when Shaman got nerfs even though it was barely seeing play at the time.
What is your magical creative deck known only to you?
