I'm pretty happy with it so far. There are a few very popular decks out there that have some frustration potential, like bomb warrior or tempo rogue, thanks to some popular streamers and early access, but there is still enough room for experimentation (as long as you don't expect to climb with that).
So far I played said warrior (home brew, but very similar to the now "standard" list - really not that hard to come up with), control shaman, undatakha villain paladin (the combo doesn't work as I thought), Tess rogue (fun but easy to mess up, card management is my main challenge there), and a tiny bit of cyclon mage, which actually worked out quite nicely.
The main change compared to pre-rotation is that all games take a lot longer, even aggro matches. I think everyone is still getting used to the new cards and learning what to play around.
On a personal note, I think that the fact that games take longer is a nice thing. I've always liked better long games, cause you actually get the opportunity to play the DAMN game and do something. As someone who builds their own decks but who is (telling from empirical experience, achieved rank 14 at best although I have 780 wins with Rogue) not the best at it, my decks are often sloppy and suffer from early game slowness. So I very much enjoy this extra time. (Still got killed T6 by a Pirate Rogue, but heh.)

You won't hear me, a lifeless and remorseless silhouette, wandering around you and you will not even get the opportunity to call for help. That day, darkness will override the light in your heart and make you one of us.
When cards got announced I instantly wanted to play bomb warrior, seemed fun at the time, but now I haven't even played the deck yet and im not going to, I played against 3 people who played bomb warrior today and it is so fucking annoying to play against, literally u have a clock until you die.. nice design. not spreading the cancer, guess I'm waiting for the next expansion
I love this expansion. Finally no more pally and a control meta. Thats the only thing i wanted to see.
I am happy that you liked. I don't like it because my issue is that I wanted something new because, for me, the game is becoming bored. Nothing new was added, so the expansion for me it is extremely bored. I am playing the old miracle rogue so I really don't like. I can't play wild because I am too bored to see only big priests. I really hate this expansion. For me it is the worst ever expansion made.
I get what you're saying but it's hard for one expansion to make HS turn whole experience around. What you want (at least I think) is a new game mode or new adventure. I do, too.
It's great! No neutralstone, no turn 6 "fuck you, here's 4 wolves from 1 card", no "turn 10 summon a 6 Doomguards," no "totally safe at 30 health and oh wait, Cloning Gallery for 100 damage."
I'm enjoying the flux of a fresh meta and trying new things.

Hey guys, remember that the two expansions to come are meant to complete the first. In my opinion, the meta already nicely changed with the odd and even leaving, and aggro paladin fina-fucking-lly outta here. Maybe the two next expansions will make it better. Give it time, folks.

I agree that Bomb Warrior is strong, but frankly, I don't mind it too much, because for me Warrior has never been a cancer class and I like it.
As of Burgle Rogue, I know it's not a meme deck anymore, but if you ask me it's far from being the best deck in the meta. At least when I play it, I always get the worst possible luck with Espionage. Really.
Clearly you don’t remember pirate warrior at whispers of the old gods or patron warrior. Both of those decks were so bad that classic cards had to be nerfed into completely unplayable. FWA wasn’t a ridiculous card until pirate warrior, which had the exact same 3 cards played for the first 3 turns, if you played those cards, you win. There was no counter. Patron warrior was an Otk at possibly the soonest we have ever seen one, it was great to see an opponent drop a 3 cost minion with charge and 12+ attack. Every class has had a “cancer” deck. It just means that they are the strongest class in the meta. If you don’t like bomb warrior, make a counter deck, blizz gave you the tools to counter it. Although, warrior is a bit one sided with removal and aoe, which in a control heavy meta really favors them. It would have been nice to see priest, mage and shaman get some new aoe and removal since they lost the best ones in the game.

Indeed you are. The guy who normally plays exclusively control decks is running Token Druid (see my signature).

I wasn't there back then. I started playing the game right after Un'Goro went live.
In other words I play the game since April 2017. Since then, at least in the lower ranks in which I play (never been a great player, and it doesn't look like it's going to improve unless I start playing "easy" meta decks, as you can see from my hand in the picture above I run weird decks of my own conception), Warrior has never been that much of an issue for me. The only Warriors that I almost always lost again were Control warriors, and, oddly, Control Warriors have never made me tilt. What makes me tilt is the total opposite of them - aggro decks. And since I've never known any Warrior aggro deck, I like Warrior. I play Control Warrior myself and am considering playing Bomb Warrior. I wanted to play it before the expansion went live, but now that everyone is pouring hatred over it, I have mixed feelings about it.
On a side note, does anyone want to play some friendly matches ? I'd love to just chill and see what decks people are trying to run and this young meta. (my battletag is on the left)

Saying 2 mana Fiery War Axe is not a completely busted card is either lying or you are putting on nostalgia googles when every single Warrior deck run it. Not to mention how ridicious it is in Arena.

I agree too, I’m loving the new cards printed and the end of genn/baku is welcome. It’s almost like we got 3 expansions because boomsday and rastakhan were both in the shadow of genn/baku.
My point is that if you have ever lurked the salt thread, you know and love kaladin as being the human with the highest sodium imbalance on the planet. If he is pleased, the magnetic poles have reversed, up is down, right is wrong and there is no saving us. Liquidate everything you have, invest in medicine, booze and guns because the end is nigh.
I love this expansion. Finally no more pally and a control meta. Thats the only thing i wanted to see.
On the contrary, Paladin is stronger than ever due to this expansion. Instead of focusing on small minions, they now have a big minion oriented deck that is a real powerhouse and counters Bomb Warrior and much of the meta. I’m excited for the new direction Paladin is heading in!
What Paladin deck?
I hope you don't mean Secret Paladin, cause it will be countered by Hunter if it ever becomes a success (Flare instantly guts the entire deck, and Hunter just got a handful of spell generation).

I'm not entirely sure, but I think he refers to a Heal or Dragon archetype. Those are to me, the most prominent at the moment.

It was strong, it was automatically included, it wasn’t completely busted for years. When warrior got patches and other pirate support it was the archetype that broke the card. Warriors initial identity was the weapon class, a 3/2 for 2 isn’t ridiculous when that is the focus of the class. When it shifted to warrior is aggro pirates now, that cornerstone weapon from weapon warrior became too damn strong. It’s not nostalgia, it’s objectively looking at how the game has evolved. I’ve been playing since launch though, so I recall when chillwind yeti was a great card and naxx introduced deathrattles and people said they weren’t as good as battlecries because they can be silenced, and everyone is running ironbeak owl. However they were still playable because of one certain card...
A modest proposal, to those players who call themselves "boring" and the game "bored":
maybe take some time off this game and do something else instead?
And how about studying English a little more, in this newfound free time? Since you don't seem to be aware you exchanged one word for the other, multiple times too ;)
