I saw how to strop netdecking thread, and thought of something more fair and bringing more fun. You know how arena has card buckets? Then how about we do the same with the players instead of cards?
What I mean is: If your deck strongly matches meta decks with high winrate, it gets match-ups with decks on the similiar power level. If you choose tier 3-4 deck, same here. If you have a deck that's below, same. The better winrate you get with a deck, the stronger opponents you will encounter. For new decks that aren't in database, you get thrown into a mid-level bucket and then after some games go up, down, or stay in the middle. I understand that finding an opponent will last longer, but oh well. Legend rank won't have the buckets because it has its own, good system. This would bring more fun for players that don't netdeck and still give a HARD time to those who do. And meta won't be that stale, because then Ranked becomes three seperate Rankeds.
There will be some things to give more thought into, but it's nothing a developer can't figurę out. What do you think?
A few years ago I had really hard time in my life. I spent way above healthy hours here and grinding HS. A few times I was on the edge of crying from nowhere. That being said, I found something to keep my mind occupated here, and forget about my sadness by making and discussing cards on Card Creation comps (I even won once). It made me so happy seeing positive comments on my card and so many likes, it made me feel important in some way. To some it may sound silly, but it was my oasis for quite some time. I will miss all the people who made me laugh, who gave me inspiration, who gave me criticism and who I felt greatly helped me leave that awful state behind.
I want to thank all of the admins, I'm forever grateful to you for being here and working hard. And I want to thank you people, that make this site feel like a real tavern.
I'm sorry if I wrote something that seemed aggressive. I Just wanted to add my two cents and not criticise your opinion in any way. What I meant was more of my impression on the topic that you started, not your viewpoint.
I got like 6 Ragnaroses added to my hand when I drew mine. Saved my ass a few times. Screwed me once after I casted that 2 mana dar 2 cards Overload: 2 spell and it casted it again.
"Pick the worst bucket, treasure and passive effect" challange; and "pick options with the most randomness in them" challange. Not here for streams tho, but good luck and have fun :)
Also 15 RoS packs. And I think that most people liked solo adventures mostly BECAUSE of the fun. It didn't have any replayability potential (not like this one) but the first time someone played them I'm sure they had at least a little fun.
Yeah, I know, all people are different, but for me solo content is much more fun and satisfying than competetive.
I know it's far away from now, and I know there are threads in which people tell what they want. But I want to ask you what do you think actually has a chance to be announced at Blizzcon?
Of course new expansion, but I also think some kind of an achievment system has realistic chances for reveal. Maybe not full developed achievment system, more like a test thingy. New hero portrait with pre-purchase will also be announced. I'm not counting on any ''new modes are in development'' announcement.
To me personally feels like users on reddit are a lot more friendly and don't do much baseless accusacions against Blizz than here on pwn. However, it might be just a better comment and thread filter.

I was weirded out at first too, but then I encountered new bossess. But it's worth to mention that their decks are changed.

To each their own I quess. For me I prefer beating bossess on heroic for the satisfaction of doing this rather than grinding ladder/arena for gold.

A Mech themed card that has no synergy with Mechs.
