Bomb warrior was the first deck I built yesterday bc my only legendary was dr boom. I didnt know how OP to was til later on in the night. There are 3 counters I can think of right now for it. Arch Thief Rafaam, Elysiana and just holding 10cards in hand, if you burn a bomb it cant go off. Also if your playing warrior or druid.. armor is a good counter. Weapons project, sheild block, the 3 minions from warrior that give armor, that 1/3 minions that gives 5 armor and deals 5 to face, branching paths, ferocious howl, earthen scales etc.
I really like shuffle mechanics. Any form of them. I dunno why but delayed sudden value is just so entertaining to me.
Which is why this expansion is probly going to be my favorite
i built bomb warrior in wild back when boomsday released and honestly seeing it being so powerful right now makes me really happy. Same goes for burgle rogue, which I played all the way back in gadgetzan with whatever cards where available.
Playing this since release of RoS. Been a blast, especially watching your opponents concede after you steal their finisher with Cabal or watching them concede after you've resurrected your fourth Muerte.
Armor Warrior feels good too right now with mechs. Been playing it and a unique Warlock deck I dont want to share yet but will later.
Edit: It is sad when your Meme/For fun deck becomes the meta and then everyone hates you for playing it (Happened in MSG and Ungoro for me) so thats the reason, just in case.
I kinda want Lady in White Priest to work, but can't reallly find a strong enough early gameplan
I also want Bwonsamdi/Talanji Priest abusing reckless Experimenter and Spirit of the Dead, but I can't really build a good gameplan around it.
Also tried Big Beast Druid, which is hilarious when it works, but doesn#t actually have a win condition outside of "I have bigger minions than you, now give up"
This deck https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1262673-mech-hunter are my current winstreak deck. I never lose vs boring bomb warrior with this deck. It's a lot of fun to get creative too by replacing some cards with other mech or maybe Da Undatakah for the meme value. I only play standard wild is not my cup of tea
I wanted to make a control shaman ... Made a muckmorpher one but ended to play a clauldron ZooLock LoL... And i made a demon paladin just for fun can´t tell if it´s useful by now but It did actually win. I think it´s bad against bomb warrior which is hyped.
I enjoy funny shenanigans. Burgle rogue always makes me smile on how insane games can become. I hope that an "archetype" around the new Plot Twist blooms someday, because it sounds and looks way too fun. Sadly it can't do anything against aggressive decks, which are always around.
I enjoy control match ups. They may take longer but they are more methodical. I like assessing my hand and whether to use removals or board clears, when to drop that big card that can turn the game. Getting these choices correct or correctly calling what your opponent is going to play/do gives me the buzz from the game.
I get that people like aggro or fast matches and that'd fine, it just isn't my bag. I rarely feel satisfied at winning on round 5 or 6, it feels like the game didn't get a chance to get going. A poor analogy would be I've always preferred chess to chequers. It's a lot slower but much more methodical and requires planning and thought which I enjoy.
I also enjoy the rng on the game. One of my first few legendaries was yip and whilst I lost more than I won, winning with him after he managed to stick to the board A few turns was great fun.
At the end of the day, different players like different things and the game very much relies on that. Control, aggro and OTK are all needed. I probably dislike losing to aggro the most. With OTK whilst it can be a bit frustrating, some of them have some clever combo styles which I can appreciate.
Having fun with Tesswaggle Roque...yes Tess package, Lackey Package and made it fit into a Shrine Package with Barista. pretty cool.
still tweaking with Rafaam in Zoo + Jaraxxus. dont know if i wanna go to cycle route with both portal demons or just go wide and Jumbo imp + Giants people.
side note: Bloodbloom + Void Contract + Hakar + Discover new deck thing in wild is a blast
I still play my odd elemental mage in wild, beat big priest 3 times yesterday.. I was impressed with myself. Also just made a new hunter, cant wait to test it after work today!!
We are now a couple of weeks into the new expansion, rise of shadows. What's the strongest? Weakest? Most fun and most boring decks you played or will play. Andddddd go!!
Strongest is rogue by far. There's plenty of weak decks going around but I'm personally most disappointed in control shaman as it just seems inferior to control warrior.
Oh well, I'm having a blast with mech paladin since I've always been fond of midrange decks.
I love to play my Big Shaman variant. It´s more kind of an controlish Deck and uses Underbelly Ooze as wincondition against control / value Decks. It´s just way to much fun to summon Underbelly Ooze through Muckmorpher casting Big Bad Voodoo on it and let the oozes spread by using Beakered Lightning.

This is awesome. I am going to build this. I had a shittier version of this built and playing Heistbaron Togwaggle into shadowstep is such a fun play.

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
RenoDecks, Evolve Shaman and generally anything that has some random effect to it (like random minion/ spell etc).
Kazakus and Elise the Trailblazer are by far my favourite cards in the game because of their effects.
Stay awhile and listen....
no matter how hard I try I keep hearing Deckard Cain
blizzard why have you ruined Diablo franchise :(
