The biggest laugh of it all is that the OP says he never spends money on the pre-order (which I assume he spends nothing at all on Hearthstone in that case because that's when you get the best deal).
Blizzard's marketing team reads your post and they say: "WGAF about this guy? He has never spent a dime on our product."
OP - you continue to be a joke. All your upvotes are by 13-year olds who can't convince their parents to drop an extra $30 for mecha-Jaraxxus.
I think my bigger beef is with the quality content and disparity of dust vs disenchanting value.
135 expac cards that about 50% of which are going to see use in competitive play. Make no mistake, that is what you are buying when you get the bundles.
I think it's time to change dusting value with so many expacs a year. I either dust old cards to make the new ones, or purchase enough fodder through packs that I have the dust.
my biggest problem is the screw up with same prices in us and eu 80$ isnt same as 80 Eurs
Well in CAD it is also overpriced... they changed it some time ago it is not “screw up” conversion rates are very unfavorable in battle net on purpose...
People complaining about this don't get it. Normal prices are 50$ for 40 packs. So for the basic you get 10 more packs + a gold legendary which is worth 25-50 packs of dust depending on how you look at it. The 80$ bundle nets you 80 packs + the gold legendary + a hero which are usually 5-8$. I don't see the complaint, it's a pretty good bang for your buck. If you don't like it don't buy it and piss off with your whining. F2P is perfectly doable
Yes I do sympathize with the people who don't see value in the packs. There are game modes other than constructed, and even still, there's such a thing as in-game gold. Some people on the other side of the street just don't seem to get that.
What it comes down to for me is that I would pay $30 for a cosmetic item in WoW. I'm not willing to do that for a game like HS. In the end cosmetics come down to personal enjoyment and bragging rights. With the exception of a few of the card backs there are no cool bragging right items in HS so that right there already cuts out half of the reason why you'd be spending so much real money on a digital cosmetic item.
We’re almost at 500 posts for this STUPID thread. We can do it. Come on. Some complain about how l a company that makes a F2P mobile game tries to make money. 4 more, please.
I don't get why everyone one is so upset about this new bundle. No one is making you buy it and it's not like Blizzard got rid of the old one, so what's the big deal?

I don't care about the deal for the packs. What I find slightly annoying is that you can't buy the skin for much cheaper than forking over $80. Sure, nobody would force me to buy, but that isn't the point.
In WoW you could spend $5-$30ish bucks for things anywhere from random fun items, to pets, to transmog, to mounts. HS, without an option to buy it separately is an $80 paywall or gtfo. They wouldn't lose any money from having an option to buy it separately, people would still do it. However, because they know they can get away with locking it behind that much higher paywall they choose to do that instead.

Were it the only thing you were getting I'd agree. It's not. If that is the only thing you want then wait for it to come available later. I am sure it will.
In any event worse case is you don't get that thing that has absolutely no calculable impact on your play experience, very much unlike the card packs you would be getting as well.
Actually worse case would be someone steals their mothers credit card, buys it without her knowing, get's caught and rebels against his punishment, which is the start to a long hard road of crime and alcoholism.
Honestly, this is all overreaction. Sure, he's cool to have, but he isn't a must. It changes nothing other than making you feel a little special. Does it matter if you have it or not, honestly? If you're a collector, either drop the habit or realize this is what needs to be done to sate that habit.
All in all, this is a pointless thread. If they didn't have the hero skin, there'd STILL be whining because you can buy both bundles.
Sure, it sucks that it'll be impossible for some people to get it, but the same goes for skins like Khadgar, and people don't complain about that as much.
If you can't deal with the fact you can't get it, there are honestly bigger things you need to worry about.
lol at this thread, why the outrage, paid hero skins have been in the game forever
Reading comprehension, it must be so hard. I'm fine with there being paid hero skins, hell I bought digital cosmetic mounts when I still played WoW. However, I already have gold to buy packs. I'm not aiming to spend a bunch of money to get more of them. The skin could be fun, but if you don't care about spending $80 bucks on the cards you are essentially spending $80 for the skin.
$80 would be fine for me to pay for 1.5 to 2 years worth of a WoW expansion, it would be worth spending that much on a limited/collector's edition version of a platform title I'm dedicated to. It is not worth that money for a skin. It's unfortunate that T5 wasn't smart enough to offer its purchase separately to capitalize on players who wanted the cards and skin for $80, but not $10-$20 for those who were just after the skin. Missed business opportunity there. Oh well, I'll have more money for irl stuff then.

So if Mecha Jaraxxus didn't exist you wouldn't be upset? Seems to me like you're less upset that you can't get it unless you buy the bundle, than you are by the fact that if you don't buy the bundle, other people will have him and you won't. In other words it seems like you're whining less because of the fact that you actually want the skin, and more because you can't stand other people having something you don't.

I'll let you decide if that's a bad thing or not.
Nah, HS isn't my game to go for try hard collecting considering that the game often puts its collector items behind paywalls. WoW was my serious collector game.
Nice attempts and trying to put words in my mouth and make judgement calls on my personality though over a digital skin. However, I dealt with better trolls in WoW, you'll need to step it up to get under my skin ^_-
Actually worse case would be someone steals their mothers credit card, buys it without her knowing, get's caught and rebels against his punishment, which is the start to a long hard road of crime and alcoholism.
Hahahaha, you made me laugh so hard... Are you joking, right?
I buy card packs but I also make sure to do all dailies and earn tavern packs. It's not uncommon for me to save up 7K for the next expansion plus earning one pack per week. So it is quite possible to play without spending much money. This is the only game I play so spending money on it doesn't bother me. I do feel the bundles give better value.
The nice thing about this game is you can spend a little or a lot or none at all and still have fun.
