if there still is a cap of 100 gold max per day like now then even you have 10 gold for 1 win Blizzard doesnt lose much, but that mean a lot for new players. And new players are what keep the game going and fresh. This game is 4 years old already, in gaming industry it is going to be considered old soon
I never understood why they need to reward winning... They should just reward playing instead of that. Like for every 10 turns you played against a real opponent, you get 5 gold and thats it. You can play all the decks you want, you can have fun and/or experiment with silly cards, and its still fine, they still reward you because you are playing with their game.
Well.. Basically you can earn 140gold/day. I'm ok with 3wins-10gold. But daily limit (100) is annoying
I suppose in a way that prevents bots from win-farming casual for gold. If there was no cap, you could simply have a bot run 24/7 and have infinite gold.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
”Because it hasn't been changed since start/beta.”
I hope you get it now.
This is what I said. I suggest you re-read the thread again, you are missing things here. The whole point is - the game is more expensive now - if you put the same hours as before, your wealth (card collection) is going to be relatively less compared to start/beta.
Why does this come up so often? Blizzard is a company not a charity. They made this game to make money. Even if your request goes through, just a month later another person will come and say "Oh hey why wouldn't we be getting 10 gold per win" and so on.
Most businesses don't hoard profits, they reinvest in their company to expand and increase sales. I don't know what Blizzard is doing with their hearthstone profits, whether it's just going to shareholders or paying to keep Heroes of the Storm afloat, but they sure as hell aren't reinvesting in the product much. This is poor business practice in my opinion.

Rewarding winning serves for a more skilled game, but as of now (with all the cards a new player has to collect), rewarding raw time might be better - or at least for players who registered since less than two years. Maybe we really need something like this - a new player to have a special status, just like for the driving license in real life.
Absolutely! I wrote this in another thread before - if they go the greedy way of just milking cards and pushing power creep with every patch to increase their income, they are GOING back to the ground in no time. HS needs more modes and things to do with your collection besides copy pasting meta decks ASAP.
And there is always the option to quit. No one is forcing you to receive all the free stuff from Blizzard and/or paying. Maybe Blizzard should removal all gold from the game and make it 100 % pay real money
I don't want to quit the game because I still like it, I am just sad that blizzard is constantly making it more expensive. Also making hearthstone pay to play would simply kill it, and it doesn't make any sense bacause free to play model is still most profitable.

That is simply not true.
You get so much more for your time than you did before Tavern Brawls, good quests, free packs all the time and end-of-season-chest rewards with golden cards.
Before there was no other way of grinding than 10 gold/3 wins.
I wish that when we were buying packs with cash we where actually buying dust. 50-100 dust per pack, and I would definitely spend more money on this game. More free stuff is always great but that is not going to incentivize more spending.
I would 100 % be happy if Blizzard decided to give us even more for free. Especially the permanent upgrades such as Tavern Brawls and better quests. This 5 gold/win would also be nice.
However it does not make sense to ask for more unless we also want to give something back.
They could make this change and also give us 4 expansions each year. That sounds about fair.

Just curious how it is "more expensive" now? The only thing I can think of is that now there are more viable cards/legendaries, and thus, decks to play, which is a good thing for the game. And there's less aggro now (aggro decks are usually cheaper to craft) which is also a good thing (some might disagree).
Anyway, Blizzard is upping the quest rewards to make it less grindy. That might help. As a F2P player, I think you get ample enough gold to stay competitive in any expansion, but it will take time (year+) to get to that state of accumulating enough cards to have a substantive collection.
I've done the Math for myself and based on that I am saying the game is a lot more expensive now for new players. If you want to do the Math yourself here are the steps to follow:
1) Calculate total dust needed for all standard cards
2) Calculate total dust needed for cheapest meta deck
3) Calculate the average income per hour for a new player

A) New player in 2015
B) New player in 2018
Compare A) and B).
You are making assumptions that we have not agreed upon.
First of all Hearthstone BETA did not come out in 2015. It came out in January 2014.
Second who talks about creating all Standard decks? There are other options like Wild or Casual or simply sticking with one or two classes.
And yes even with your assumptions: The game is much, much cheaper today for new players. Simply getting so much more free stuff is good for the players all around. Imagine a world without Tavern Brawl, quests that give more than 40 gold and no golden cards rewarded each month. All that for the price of one set release each year being ‘upgraded’ from an adventure to an expansion.

How Exactly has the game gotten any more expensive? The game has gotten drastically easier to play without spending any money. They've started giving out legendaries for free, making the adventure portions of the game free to play and reward packs, they've added way more quests that reward packs at the start of new expansions, and split the game into wild and standard so new players don't have to go buy tons of content just to keep up. And that's not to mention the changes they're making now to make quests easier and reward more gold. Blizzard has been very kind to free to play players and players on a budget. You cant expect to have a collection as big as pros or streamers that spend tons of money. Stop complaining and take a moment to think of how much blizzard has done to let you enjoy their game for free.

think of other games that have lasted for a long time. I'm going to use TF2 for an example. how much content does that give you for free? very little. you need to get lucky, be really talented at it, or spend money to get good items. now, how long has that game lasted? more than a decade. (I know that TF2 wasn't always free to play, but bear with me). In order for free to play games to work and make money, they have to make the player feel as if playing the game for free isn't a fulfilling enough experience. so the answer is obviously to spend a little money. Others decide it isn't worth investing money or cant afford to. Now, lets get back to what you were saying. imagine if to reach the daily gold cap, you only had to win 20 games instead of 30. that would mean a lot of players who play for a 2hrs + a day would probably always reach the gold cap and probably not have to spend as much money as they used to. that's what would happen if you got 5 gold per win. if you made it 10 gold per win the effect on blizzard would be absolutely devastating. any player with an hour or two to spare could easily reach the gold cap and get their free pack, not to mention their quests. For most players that would be more than fulfilling enough, and then wouldnt have any drive to spend anything. blizzard would loose tons of money. To assume that blizzard would be able to give up so much for the sake of players who don't even want to spend money on their game is really stupid.
TL;DR - Blizzard cant afford to give up that much gold for free because feeling the free to play experience is inadequate is an essential part of free to play games.

If they ever implemented this I imagine they'd still keep the 100g/day cap.

Changing quests to 50g minimum is enough for me, would be happy when they start this as soon as the Raven starts.
