I’m not sure if i am the only one to notice this, but there seems to be a LOT of help for some quests buried in K&C. Don’t get me wrong, i don’t think it’ll happen until after the rotation, because people still have to build their decks thinking about Raza, Jades, and Patches. But after the rotation i think a few of the quests will actually become viable (or so blizzard is pushing for, i believe). The new Paladin legendary is fantastic in quest pally, it seems via the cards i have seen for Druid, “big Druid” will morph into quest Druid, Cataclysm might be good enough to hit an EARLY quest finish for Warlock (Warlock quest isn’t trash if it’s up by turn 5 imo). Quest mage has some possibilities for how to finish their quest with the new scroll, quest rogue gets that secret and legendary which both help them with bouncing/extra minions, you get my point.
Am i way off base? Or do you think they are adding some value to those quests sitting in our collection that basically do nothing right now?
yea, it seems plausible: if you take a look at the Legendary craft guide. you will notice that most DKs are lister as Tier 1 or 2, but most quests are in Tier 3-4. I believe Blizzard wants to make that mechanic relevant, since it probably took them a while to make it altogether
This entire expansion has, let's say, gone about in a spiral! Old themes, (Joust with spells on Raven Familiar, Evolve on Unstable Evolution, and the art mostly seems as art that was commissioned for past expansions seems to be seeing use now) as they are, seem to be reemerging. This is great design. Much Loved.
Correct me if i am wrong but scrolls doesn't help to finish Mage's quest.

Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
Cataclysm is going to be insane for quest warlock and an auto keep in every opening hand with the quest. Clears the board and instantly finishes your quest (if you're playing the deck right)
It helps some, but not all of them. I wouldve loved to see some way to help Quest Hunter, for example.
It's far from too late for that. 1 cost minions tend to be of low rarity, and we've hardly seen any of the common cards that will be available for Hunter. If a good 1 drop appears for Quest Hunter it may yet be a deck again. (And who knows, maybe Feral Gibberer will surprise people.)

I feel like quest hunter has had enough help to be honest. It's still a fairly viable deck as it is. I've been able to play it successfully and I saw one of the highlighted decks on here hit legend with it. Quest warlock, druid, rogue, and pally on the other hand are all completely non-existent on the ladder.
It's smart for Blizz to start highlighting interactions with old legendaries as it encourages people to either spend money on old packs to try and get those legendaries, or to use their hard-earned dust to create them. Bringing unused cards back to light and dropping used ones out of relevance is a great way to keep up the revenue stream. The new legendaries all seem to be ones that have really good effects, and even if they're not usable in this meta, they're created so that they could find synergy down the road.
I think that's just natural, as the quests rely on mechanics that are core to the classes (buffs for paladin, discards for warlock, etc), however, I don't think it will be enough for them to shine, most are simply not good enough even with a lot of support.
Quest Druid got no viable support, and the Druid cards suck. Otherwise, for sure, Priest has definitely gotten some Deathrattle support for example.
These will all become much more viable in one expansions time when the value giants of Raza and Jade cease to exist.
What about the recruit guy, grizzled guardian? Or any of the neutral recruits? After finishing the quest, minions are all gonna cost 0, so suddenly your guardian dies and you pull a Lich king and deathwing... seems not too shabby.

My day 1 craft is a Feral Gibberer Quest Hunter deck tbh

They’re basically tribbles!!! Haha just rip an anti magic shell from the Lich king and some taunts and you got never ending value! 😂
