Mage Dk, priest Dk and Warlock Dk are really strong decks when built around them..., well there's kind of a longer explanation for mage i don't mean like building a whole elemental mage deck but dabbling into some elemental sinergy seems to be the one that's winning the most, those that are basically burn mage with the Dk as a replacement for other card didn't feel as strong but weren't in any way weak.
Rexxar's Dk and uther's Dk also felt strong not as strong as the other 3 i already mentioned but strong nonetheless, rexxar is surprisingly versatile and gives the hero inevitability, he'll eventually just outvalue you and win the game, and if he gets charge in his beast or a TUndra rhino one then it's pretty much gg.
Jade Druid feels as strong as pre-expansion, the Dk druid is kind of in the middleground, it's just an overall solid card to have but it doesn't win games
Warrior has been underperforming but i saw a whirlwind sinergy build in a spanish stream yesterday that was doing okayish so maybe this needs a little bit more refinement before giving a veridict
Valeera the hollow is absolute shit, prelaunch i had an argument with my friend where i said Valeera could only be used to duplicate reno Jackson in Wild but she can't even do that because the shadow reflection card is literally lost at the end of your turn my friend insta-crafted her to "Win" against me and prove his point and now he's submerged in deep regret.
erdit>: also the token druids that have adopted the 1/6 taunt minion are annoying, really annoying, they can protect a fledgling way too easily, maybe fledgling will have to be nerfed to 1 or 2 health after all.
Lich Mage completely destroyed my Control Pally so I'm off control again this expansion. It's seriously over powered. Out goes Jade and in comes Elemental Life Steal.
So! I opened a DK Rexxar and loaded up a midrange hunter deck. I put in one Stitched Tracker, two Corpse Widows and Deathstalker Rexxar. It's kicking ass right now and I've only had trouble against Shaman and their endless taunts, hexes and devolves on my precious deathrattles.
Did you know Arfus is a beast? I merged him with another beast from the Hunter hero power and it was amazing.
Well I've only played about 6 or 7 games so far (damn Thursday release) but I'm definitely having fun. I've been running a kind of token/taunt build for Druid, and it's actually pretty decent (6-1 starting at rank 15 so far). Spreading Plague + Strongshell Scavenger is such a huge turn around against aggro. I've also won a few where opponent Freeze+Doomsayer my board, so I drop Hadronox to refill my board, Strongshell Scavenger ftw. I'm thinking the deck could be more effective if it was more aggressive with Savage Roar and stuff like that, but then maybe it would be better to just play aggro Druid at that point.
Still need to test out my control Warlock and gotta figure out what the hell I'm going to do with Rogue lol.
So far it looks like Frost Lich Jaina is SO DISGUSTING. That value is too much to come back from for a lot of decks. Interested to see how people start to tech against a recurring 3/6 Freeze/Lifesteal every turn.

For me it's been nothing but control pally after control pally. I played about 30 games yesterday and I think 17 or 18 of them were against Uther. It's been frustrating because the majority of these decks are just Un'Goro paladin with the paladin DK added so it's more of the same shit. The other games were mostly against experimental hunter and warlock decks which were a hell of a lot more fun to play!
Playing at rank 20-18 (lul), haven't seen too many paladins, but lots and lots of DK priests and warlocks, with some mages sprinkled in as well. All of them seem very powerful
Also quick note, bringing back Mal'ganis with a bunch of other demons with DK warlock is instantly game winning if they don't have a board clear
Meta was all over the place and I loved it! This is hands down the most fun time in Hearthstone. I'm enjoying the pure untainted deck building experience (I'm not watching streamers or looking at pro lists). DK Raza Priest is extremely fun to play.
As expected, The Lich King is nuts.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
(I only played to rank 12 w/ Control Pally last night so that's where these thoughts are from).
I have some concerns about the strength of Jade Druid. It's nice to see that Gul'dan is not awful. I think long term, he'll have to tweak his strategy, but there may be some hope. The only aggro deck I saw so far has been Token Druid. Priest feels not as good as I had hoped. Control Warrior may be possible without the Quest. Tempo Warrior did not impress me too much yet. The Lich King is good, but he's no Boom or Rag. Uther is better than I gave him credit for being....but I also draw Doomsayer a lot.

Mage DK is super fun. was facing a divine shield paladin and he let my Barron Geddon live 3 turns, which was a bad idea. the turn I dropped my DK barron geddon wiped his board minus one minion (which I made into a water elemental next turn) and healed me for 16 hp lol

I have not been able to play much, but literally every DK deck I have seen looks fun. And I mean fun in the original way I started playing where it's just a bunch of interesting interactions, good or bad. Example, I love warlock, so I crafted his DK and made a wild demonlock. I had the Dreadstead and got a random summon of the Unlicensed Apothecary, which looked bad at first, but it only hit me once. But then I DK'ed and it summoned him and dealt 30 damage to my face xD. I saw a similar one where Shaman DK'ed and got two of them doing the same thing.
Sad about the Dreadstead nerf (was one of the first cards I crafted) but I completely understand since Defile would create a never ending loop. When I was looking at the released cards and saw Defile the first time, I instantly wanted to try that, but Blizzard is always two setps ahead of me :/
My first legendary was Arfus, which I love, cuz I'm all about puns. He's basically an auto include now, and I would argue almost has more value than Lich King, just because of how rarely he can survive long enough to give you more than one card. 8/8 has become a staple stat for big minions, and most decks (even a lot of non-control decks) have removal with them in mind.
At about Rank 10, it feels like the most popular decks include Raza-kus DK Priest, DK Warlock and Control Paladin, followed by Pirate Warrior... lol
Hunter and Druid [not Jade Druid] did see some play but they seem comparatively inferior to the above.
Didn't really see that much of Rogue, Mage and Shaman.

Disappointed thus far. The expansion feels so lackluster.

Join me at Out of Cards!
I've continued to play against Jade Druids, Midrange Hunters, and the occasional Mage. Still all over the place.

i love how the meta is going, havent had so much fun with warlock in a long while and this is my most fun to use
