I actually enjoy all these decks. I mean it is at least better than SMOrc right?
You play a deck around. Card sure but you change a few cards to make it unique. Like I am the only C'Thun Control Warrior with Malkorok in it who actually ladders in standard and plays this kind of deck and have even got a bunch of other cards noone else plays.
I beat just about every C'thun deck I come across with Yogg-Saron mage. Drop C'thun into my Ice block and I'll Drop Yogg and win the game unless Yogg fireballs my face....
If you dont like C'Thun or other Old Gods, then include a Mana Wraith or two in your deck. Grab board control and place one of these on the board, stopping your opponent from playing his "11"-mana card.

Agreed, most of the C'Thun, buff minions have on-curve stats, or other side effects (deal 2 dmg, divine shield) that make them no slouches. I feel like if minibot and shredder were still around, they would have their work cut out for them to keep their slots.
I think that this topic is overblown though, I mean really, turn 10? How does aggro not make a huge comeback with an abundance of over-control? Aggro shaman has been my nemesis for a while now and I think that that will be continuing for the forseeable future.
IT feels like every single standard game I play is against a C'Thun deck, honestly I know it's an entry level control deck but jesus christ everyone is playing it
If anything I find C'Thun decks to be balanced, you play a lot of vanilla minions that don't affect the board except maybe Disciple of C'Thun and you get rewarded if you survive and reach turn 10.
Also playing C'THun doesn't necessarily wins you the game.

Unless you are playing c'thun druid with innervate, then you need to run both.
Nope, Innervate (and the Coin) will NOT bring you above 10 mana, the only way to play an 11 mana card is reduce the cost with Emperor/Pint Sized summoner etc.
Sylvanas Windrunner once you have board control and enough health to tank C'thun=autowin. He can't play C'Thun without giving it to you. I've won games where I've purposefully missed lethal and risked RNG sending all 28 damage at my face for lethal (hint: it doesn't do that, ever, if you have a good sized board) just so I could take his Cthun and smash his own face with it. Or with my Ashbringer, if Sylvanas didn't quite die..

Just remember the good times!
Did you lose to a C'Thun deck? Have fun. I don't mind losing to C'thun, I like seeing it and how far he can get. It's all for fun.
Vote for my card!
I have no time for games, albeit this one is ok

Hunter pretty much effortlessly defeats c'thun decks. Call of the wild hunter plays exactly like combo druid.

Cthun get old to fast nice expansion blizzard LUL
I'm learning to play Mill Rogue to make you BURN YOUR C'THUN!!!!!!!
I think its cool the casuals get a cheap deck to play besides aggro.
Legend Rogue, druid when lazy
Yes, I've found C'thun decks quite boring from both sides of the board. Thankfully WotOG has plenty of other - more exciting - toys for us to explore.

I think C'Thun decks are not as strong as some believe. Played zoo against them and the winrate is around 80%.
Surprisingly the best C'Thun deck is Druid C'Thun
It's a "fair" deck and generally gets beaten badly by midrange shaman's 0 cost 5/5 with taunt or 4 cost 7/7 :)
Definitely prefer facing it than another secret pally though. Have seen (and played) plenty of C'thuns that didn't end the game.
