Really enjoying Faeria! It has it all: crazy combo potential, strategic planning (thanks to faeria/mana manipulation and land tiles) and compelling aesthetics. Clearly a work of love.
Both cards perform extremely well right now have good synergy with one another.
Early big Edwin VanCleef is no longer a liability thanks to the nerfs and it can be combo-ed, buffed on board and returned to your hand/replayed with Xaril, Poisoned Mind's toxins. This powerhouse tandem is further enhanced by Shadowcaster.
(Edit) It is kind of impossible to discuss cards out of deck context, so I've included the deck I use here.
I don't play deathrattle/raptor list, so I've only tried Xaril, Poisoned Mind and Shadowcaster. Both perform extremely well and allow for such crazy combos that I often find myself roping while figuring them all out. Too much fun, miracle lives.
Uneven entrance animation job once again, by the way. Some legendaries are beautifully animated (Xaril, Poisoned Mind) whereas others rely solely on their sound file (Hallazeal the Ascended).
I didn't expect it to be good but it is. The card benefits you more than it hurts you (the most annoying spell would probably be the freaking Astral Communion) and will often be played multiple times during the game.
Unfortunately - or fortunately - the more spells you load into it the more fizzles you get when you play it. My largest Yog was over 30 spells (third ganged-up copy) and about half of those fizzled.
Definitely the most surprising card in the set for me.

Faeria (enjoying it much more than HS, actually) and Darkest Dungeon.

The doctor is fine now - good but hardly overpowered. It can be easily countered in Wild.

Majordomo Executus >> Ragnaros the Firelord >> Jeweled Scarab >> Shadow Word: Death

Laddering in Wild this season with Jungle Moonkin druid.

To summarize the above comments, any strong deck - most probably including your shaman, - would do provided you pilot it well.

Shadow Word: Death + Mindgames was fun. Innervate druids wept.

This is my current list:

Selfless Hero is the best one by far but I also like Hallazeal the Ascended and Xaril, Poisoned Mind ("So many wonderful poisons!") entrances.

A rather strong card even though it needs a setup.
No entrance animation but that sound file ("I am the darkest night") is quite intimidating.

Yes, I've found C'thun decks quite boring from both sides of the board. Thankfully WotOG has plenty of other - more exciting - toys for us to explore.

I'm swimming in dust after the patch. The Innkeeper tells me I could craft the whole WotOG set and still have 20k of the digital substance left.

In all fairness it looks disgusting. That old-hooker-lipstick purple is such an eyesore.
