I'm trying to play competitive (both standard and wild), but i lack alot of good legends when i looked up the tier crafting guide they told me this card should be disenchanted with the new format coming up i just opened him today should i keep or disenchant?
As a person with a lot of experience with useless legendaries in packs (thanks Blizzard), I would keep this one.
The general rule of thumb is if the Legendary can be implemented into current meta decks in any way, you should not dust it.
Unfortunately for me, I got Aviana which is only useful in Ramp Druid decks (currently out of meta) and the highly debatable Illidan Stormrage both of which I dusted.
I did get Deathwing in a recent pack, and since he is very useful in a fair amount of Control decks now, I kept him. (Plus he looks more badass than the other legendaries I got xD )
Note: I only dusted those legendaries to start up my collection, as I had no complete meta deck yet. If you have a usable deck, perhaps you should not dust legendaries all together unless you get REALLY bored of playing the same deck.
Hard to disenchant anything from TGT or Classic until Standard begins and the new expansion is revealed. I wouldn't hesitate to DE anything from GvG though.
Keep. With cards being nerfed/buffed you wanna wait to see what happens. Also, i personally always liked cairne and with the meta potentially slowing down, a strong, AOEresilient minion has a lot of potential.

Soon there are no more Shredders dude. So I wouldn't dust it. I think shredder was the reason Bloodhoof got dumped.
He wasn't. Sludge was. Everyone played sludge and Ciarne's 4 attack just wasn't cutting it anymore.
With Sludge gone. I don't know. What deck would use him? We have Emperor, and Sylvanas, some decks will run Justicar. Others Reno. And you don't want too many things in the 6 slot.
So he may try to make a comeback. But it's not guaranteed.

I agree, tho since CW is losing Shieldmaiden At 6 mana, I think Cairne would be good in CW again. We should wait to see what the new Set of Cards and Changes hold, but i think Cairne is useable again because like you said, Sludge Belcher is what stopped Cairne from being used.

Control Warrior is a very versatile deck, especially when it comes to the legendaries or late game. Basically after you have decided what removal and early game you want to run, you can put whatever late game cards you want into your deck. Cairne isn't the optimal choice, but it's well good enough.
Cairne is a great high value minion in a number of decks. It just wasn't optimal for a while. I think with the coming of standard, it will see play again (and honestly even if it doesn't, it's a nice replacement for some cards).

I say keep him, a lot of old deathrattle minions are going away, like Piloted Shredder. He'll have his place again once standard comes out.
Keep Cairne. With the two best 5 health 5 drops (loatheb and Sludge) leaving, Cairne (in a vacuum) is really good.

wait 'till standard
Keep. This will be a good card to have for standard. I think we'll start seeing it in a lot of priest decks.
Keep. Though it is still unclear if it will be good for standard, you can always dust later.
Tier crafting list will get turned upside down with new set, rework and rotation. Keep for sure. Wouldnt dust anymore classic/basic cards at all.

Well now that Sludge belcher is not gonna be in Standard, Cairne seems to be a fun card to play again :)
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
