Hi all, I'm trying to get a Mage deck to work as it is one of the trash classes and I like trying to deck build even though I'm bad at it. So with the kinda nerfs to some aggro decks I thought I'd try make mage work.
I'm having some success with it mainly against control warriors but I want to see if I can make it a bit more well rounded, I have made changes and got to this point, it can draw fast and some times a bit to fast, I find it does alright in the early game as it has a lot of low cost cards so some tempo isn't a problem I'm just trying to think if its to many things shoved into one deck like spell dam for draw with ele draw package, is it better to drop one of them, or maybe go down the secret route.
I added Yogg as I play a lot of spells and is always active on 10 and just helps in the late game when you don't draw C'Thun and need to try live another round, as I have had it on rather a lot of games with 5 or so cards left and C'thun has been last card and I have lost because they have manage to fill the board so there is to much hp.

What? Hey, words hurt, man.
I don't feel like mage is trash at all. It's not at the top these days, but I've had a lot of success with spell (no minion) mage. I've gotten to legend with it two months in a row, so I think that's good enough.
I think C'thun works well in that deck because discounting the pieces with Incanter's Flow makes them better overall.
This version runs a lot of burn and Deck of Lunacy because it's how I like my mage. Hate me if you like, but I have fun with it. And it works more than 50% of the time.
Don’t u play c’thun mage like normal mage the only difference is the c’thun cards . . Why do u need help what help can we give.
Well I guess if you slot it onto a normal mage deck then yeah, but what I'm trying to do is make c'thun the win con of the deck as if you took it out the deck then this deck would not work so more of a combo deck I guess. I am looking for help with refining the deck to make it more consistent. If im missing any synergies or if I'm making my synergies weak by having to many different bits. I'm just looking for people to give a different perspective.
It's not that complicated. If you get Deck of Lunacy in early game before any pieces of C'thun are draw, you can turn them into 8-cost spells, that now cost 5. It's just good value.
If you have drawn 2-3 pieces of C'thun before your Deck of Lunacy comes to hand, you can use your big 'ol brain to decide to wait and look for the remaining piece(s) first.
Contrary to popular belief, you don't need to play a card the second it comes to your hand!

Haha sorry about that, im just going by what most sites like vicious syndicate say.
Yeah I've thought about no minion mage and ill give it a try, I get the deck of lunacy choice I love the randomness but I want to be about to use c'thun as the way to win. I did try it with incanters flow but found it a bit to slow but in no minion mage its perfect.

its simple:
the Mana Cyclone gives you 4+ Evocation and you also discover by the almighty chain-discover mechanic 5 more Evocation
>>>>>don't forget to play some Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron.
....the guy above also runs a Deck of Lunacy hmmmmmmmm... go ahead the synergy with C'Thun, the Shattered is Magely obvious.
