Aku'mai the Devourer is the final boss of Blackfathom Deeps. She (now known as he, weird) is watched over and protected by the Twilight's Hammer in the Dungeon. Said to be a favorite pet of the Old Gods, a truly monstrous beast.
This one is a very long post, but I personally thought it was a cool idea for a mechanic.
Basically, this is a Lord Jaraxxus that you play for your opponent. Lorewise, it's the big, scary mass of darkness that Garrosh dumps into the Sacred pools in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, messing up a lot of stuff and setting up the final raid of Mists of Pandaria, so I thought it would work well as a card that corrupted a hero, with the help of the Old Gods' forces.
When this card is played, it puts a Shadowform-esque filter on the hero, sets their max. health to 20, and equips a new Hero Power and Weapon.
The way the Weapon works, attacking into a minion that doesn't die to the damage will deal an extra amount of damage to your hero equal to the attack of that minion. However, if you attack into a minion with less/equal health to the attack of the weapon, your hero will be Immune on that attack.
Now, the Hero Powers.
I tried to give each power a distinct and flavorful feel, while eventually getting carried away by some really cool ideas farther down the line.
Also, if you play the Hearth of Y'Shaarj against another member of the Twilight's Hammer, it has no effect. I mean, it would be pretty hard to corrupt a giant, evil tentacle monster whose job is to communicate for and defend the embodiment of death itself. However, if that happens, you get an 8 mana 4/20 (heh), which isn't necessarily that bad stat-wise.
You know what they say, if you see one, there's thousands of others you don't see - sucking your life force RIGHT NOW!

Admit it, you've always wanted to summon a 15/15 demon... playing Shaman. Vote for my weekly contest entry here - Ner'zhul and Kil'jaeden(scroll down). Thanks!
Pretty strong 3 drop. going to have a nice 3/4 body on your opponent's turn and you will have pinged one of their minions for 1 most likely. Potential sysnergy using it on your own minions such as Nerubian Egg. Will very slowly kill even bigger targets, but, that's probably not going to happen very often unless you can protect this.
Note: Since this is health transfer and not damage it won't trigger things like Acolyte of Pain, nor can the transferred health be healed. Will also bypass divine shield, would instakill a Scarlet Crusader for instance.
The basic idea is that a minion falls into the maw here and is slowly digested feeding the Scarlac.

4 Mana 5/3 Epic Minion Battlecry: Reveal a minion in each deck. If yours costs more, become a copy of it. Clarifications: Becomes a copy of your revealed minion, not the opponents. If the battlecry fails, it is a 5/3 as normal Balancing: Although while it is possible to get Deathwing for 4 mana, you might also get a 2 cost minion for 4 mana, so I decided it make it a vanilla 4 cost minion with slightly less stats for having an effect.
Whilst this card doesn't 100% fit in with the theme of making your opponent's cards weaker or cost more, it does have interactions based on cards' costs. With the class being centred around Faceless Ones and TGT just being out, I couldn't miss the opportunity to implement the Joust Mechanic into a Faceless Manipulator type effect. Anyways, thanks for checking out my card! :3
My entry for this week is Twilight Father Benedictus, who through the classic Joust mechanic can summon Chromatus the Dragon. The dragon has the inspire mechanic that gives you 1 of 5 random spells cards. I hope y'all like my cards.
I know it may seem weird for the Shadow Council to be using warlock spells but seeing as they are so similar it seemed most fitting for Twilight Lord Everun to use this as well :)
Very similar to The Mistcaller. Its effect is slightly weaker because you do not know how many minions will be in your opponent's deck, whereas The Mistcaller's power you can build a deck around. To compensate, this minion has slightly improved stats.

my submission for this week's competition
the damage done to you is just the attack damage of the dragon, not the total damage dealt combined
