UPDATED! Added new Neutral cards and changed some old ones.
I've made custom cards for a while, but I haven't really shared them. One was put in the Hearthcards gallery for some reason.
Anyway, I figured I should share them because, well otherwise there's no point is there?
I made sure to make one legendary for each class, but I have definetly made more cards for some classes than others...
Also, since I'm a huge lore nerd I can guarantee you that the flavor is good and everything makes sense within the lore :)
Druid:
Goldrinn
Since the two earlier legendaries for Druids were demigods, I thought that it would be a good idea to make another one! Goldrinn embodies things such as ferocity and savagery, so I think this card fits rather perfectly. Also it's another Beast, which seems to be some kind of sub-mechanic for Druids now. It has only 5 health, but since you get the attack buff you can protect it pretty well. I made this a while ago, now it seems a bit op...
Update: Now you only get the Attack boost on your turn, as intended.
Timbermaw Mender
I wanted to make a furbolg card, and was originally going to make it Neutral, but I thought it would fit the Druid class pretty well. I don't remember exactly what I thought then, but this card is pretty flavorful, since the Timbermaw want to cleanse the corruption from other furbolgs (or maybe the corrupt furbolgs were just screwed...), or something... whatever. I could see it maybe a bit stronger though...
Hunter:
Loque'nahak
Loque'nahak is in WoW, like King Krush, a very rare spawn in Sholazar Basin. He is a Spirit Beast, which is a special class of pet who can heal. The only Spirit Beasts that exist are rare spawns, and this is probably the most famous one. I think it's perfect for a Hunter legendary. Spirit Beasts also have the ability to Stealth, so I mixed the healing mechanic and the Stealth mechanic and tadaa! It's pretty interesting.
Update: Just changed the formulation of the text, it was rather wierd.
Stampede!
This was my submission for the 10-mana spell contest. It really fits as an epic 10-mana spell, but I'm not sure if it's perfectly balanced. At some points during the game it would be completely useless, but if you get an amazing hand it can just win the game. Might not be the best card from a design aspect, but it's really epic. (Which was the point.)
Darkspear Sharpshooter
This card is pretty cool! It's another tool for the people who want to play control Hunter. Some things to note are that: 1. It can't shoot your opponent's face. 2. If there's two minions in front of it, then it shoots a random one of them. I like this one :3
Sporebat
This one's pretty simple. The Sporebat pet in WoW can cast, or acctually used to be able to cast, a spell which reduced the casting speed of spells. A spore cloud. So... yeah. I'm not sure if it's acctually useful though :P
Mage:
Kalecgos
"A class specific dragon aspect? That's waay op!"
Now hear me out! First of all, he wasn't always the dragon aspect, there's also Malygos you know... Secondly, he's basically Jaina's boyfriend at this point.
Anyway, I thought the Bolvar Fordragon mechanic was great, so I wanted to make something similar! And this is it. It's pretty cool if you ask me. But I made the card so maybe I shouldn't
Channeler (Revamped)
So I totally remade the card, but the old one still exists in the Old Versions section.
It's a lot less complicated, the only thing I have to clarify is probably the usage of the word Remove. Usually, you would use the word Discard, but I don't want your opponent to find out what spell you Removed. Also, any targeted spells would just show as not being targeted, so that your opponen't can't really guess what spell it's going to be.
Fireslinger
The real reason I made this card is because I thought the art was cool. But also, mages probably need a good 5-drop. This might not be that good now that I look at it, but the stats are good for its cost and the ability is not that useless. You could deal quite a lot of damage together with spare parts, small spells and such.
Paladin:
Sunwalker Dezco (Revamped)
I revamped Dezco, but you can still see the old version in the Old Versions section.
So a way to make the effect harder to activate, and a lot more flavorful than the old one, would be to give the buff whenever a minion dies! Since the effect is now harder to activate, I compensated by giving him +1 Attack and Taunt. But look, this card is really kind of hard to balance, so it might still be overpowered/underpowered, or just not fun. I don't know, I probably need more feedback on this one :P
Reinforcements
Yay! It's a Paladin secret! ... Maybe not the most exciting thing, but I think it's pretty fun. Reminded me a bit of that Warcraft 3 mission where you had to defend that one town... which one was it (Hearthglen maybe?)... and you were waiting for reinforcements from Uther. It took like 30 minutes for that douche to arrive!
Righteous Retributor
Ok, I made this one because of the art too. But it's really cool! This card is potentially a stronger Fire Elemental, but his conditions are still pretty strict.
Rally
So there's the Savage Roar and there's the Bloodlust. But isn't something missing?
Yeah! There's no card buffing minions for 1 Attack! It's simple but useful, especially for a Paladin who could potentially play a token type deck.
Priest:
Archbishop Benedictus
The leader of the church in Stormwind! (or something, I didn't play Alliance when he was around)
But since he's the Archbishop, he fits very well as a Priest legendary. Well, obviously. The others I could think of were Tyrande, but she could be a Druid or Hunter card too (I'm really unsure what she would be >.<), and of course Wrathion who would very well fit inside Priest, if you know what I mean ;)
But here's some fun trivia: Later he became a person known as the "Twilight Father"! And he was all shadowpriesty or whatever. So there's the flavor of him dealing damage while in Shadowform :)
Otherwise he's pretty basic. It's a powerful heal/board clear for a Battlecry though!
Shadowbender
This is acctually another one I wanted to make because of the art. Just look at him! He's so frikkin cool!
I wouldn't be surprised if this effect has been done before, but it's pretty cool and fits the theme.
Shadowfiend
I'm sure Shadowfiend has been done a lot of times, and this variation is probably not that creative either, but I really feel like it should be a thing. I'm not sure if this exact card has been done before, or some really similar, but I wouldn't really be surprised so don't necessarily call me the inventor of this card.
Rogue:
Garona Halforcen
Everyone's favourite assassin! Maybe? I don't know, but what I do know is that this effect fits her very well!
I couldn't really find some good artwork for her though, so it's a bit low resolution...
Lockpicker/Lockpick
Both are flavorful and interesting, but I'm not sure which one is the best. He opens locks and you get coins, it makes sense! Or you get a 1-mana spell, because those can totally be inside small boxes! Really! Uh...
Tiny Thief
I'm really proud of this one! I think that "copy cards from your opponent"-type effects really work for Rogues, I mean... it's pretty obvious!
I think it's also really balanced, you could look at it as a Thoughtsteal-on-a-stick but you only get one card, but it deals 3 damage too, but it's a 3/2 for 3 so it's easily killable, but it also has stealth which makes it harder to kill and makes it a lot more versatile! That was a long sentence but this card is one of my best creations in my opinion.
Pickpocket
Here's another card with the same theme as the last one, the infamous Pickpocket! I think it has a really nice balance between Mind Vision and Thoughtsteal too. Why doesn't a variation on Pickpocket already exist? Like, anything!
Poison Mixer
Kind of a basic card really. I don't remember what I thought when I made it exactly. Pretty strong if you give it Stealth, but would you really run a Master of Disguise just for this card?
Shaman:
Therazane
Therazane, the elemental lord of earth, is a great choice for a Shaman legendary in my opinion. Shaman has all of the elemental lords as legendaries except Ragnaros the Firelord, but this one fits him better than the others in my opinion because, well, Thrall kind ofbecame the aspect of earth in the final battle with Deathwing.
Anyway, since the start I always wanted her to summon Earth Elementals. Of course that's ridicolously op, so she would have to have a great drawback. It took a while to make it right, but I think this version is balanced. There might not be enough cards to overload yourself each turn with, but her initial overload makes it so that you get at least one Earth Elemental, unless she is killed or silenced.
Empowered Elementalist
Great power comes with great drawbacks. But is it a drawback or does it just make Therazane more viable? This would almost always kill with two Lightning Bolts and two Lava Bursts though, which I didn't realize when I made the card. But that's a really tough combo to pull off, especially with Shaman that doesn't have great draw power.
Also, a clarification, spells that already have Overload would have even more Overload. Maybe the text doesn't say that clearly enough, but I didn't want to make the text too long.
Overcharged Axe
I posted this in the weapon contest, but it didn't see too much attention. To be fair, there were a lot cooler Shaman weapons with some kind of Overload mechanic... yeah well, this is decent. I guess.
Stormcaller
This is another card I made mainly because of the art. I also thought that Shaman didn't have great 4-drops, although I also made another 4-drop for shaman so, maybe it's a bit too much. I should also mention, I got a bit inspired from another card, a Hunter card with a similar effect on this thread. There's some cool cards over there!
Warlock:
Doom Lord Kazzak
So far, all Warlock legendaries have been some sort of big Demon who affects your own hero in some way. So here's DOOM LORD KAZZAK, MUAHAHAH!
Well, I think the effect fits him since he's a commander of the burning legion, and I also think he's balanced at 8 mana.
Update: Just spelled Demon with the capital D.
Felhunter
It makes sense, because it eats magic! There's really not much more to say... uh...
Voidcaster
Okay this one might seem a bit weird. I could probably come up with a better name. I could probably just search wowhead for void, and yeah I would probably get a better name. I didn't think about that when I made this :P
Anyway, you might ask why I made a Gazlowe-type effect for Warlock. Well, I was thinking Warlock has quite a bit of 1-mana spells, but also it makes a bit up for Soulfire discarding a card. I don't acctually know if it would be that useful now that I think about it D:
Warrior:
Darius Crowley
Whoaaaaaa! The effect is kind of crazy, and I like it :)
It opens up the possibility of some new cool types of decks I think, like some enrage decks or something. Maybe they wouldn't be viable though, but who knows it's just a concept! :P
Rageblade
I wanted a weapon with enrage, and this was what I finally came up with. Since there are already a lot of weapons for Warrior, it was kind of hard to balance. It shouldn't be better than Arcanite Reaper, but not much worse either... but I think this is pretty balanced.
It deals a total of 9 damage, but this is a weapon that would really benefit from an Upgrade-type effect, since it's better with more charges.
Clarification: The weapon becomes enraged when you have used its first charge, so on the first attack it deals 3 damage and on the second it deals 6.
Ruthless Gladiator
At first glance this seems really op. Well, it's good, but let me clarify. The effect shouldn't work when he can't attack a target. So it's not like Youthful Brewmaster, where you can play it without it's battlecry. The only problem was that I wasn't sure how to make that obvious in the text, so I didn't. What the battlecry means though, is that you must attack a minion of your own if your opponent doesn't have a minion! The drawbacks are real?
Hm... it could maybe use some balancing, but the concept is pretty solid.
Grimtotem Brute
Enrage: Charge.
It feels so obvious!
Lazy Peon
I don't know what to say, it's pretty self explanatory :P
Neutral:
- Legendaries -
Akama
Considering what he did in WC3, this is a really flavorful card. It can be stopped by AoE and Taunts (and Mass Dispel), but it might need some additional drawback.
Prophet of Hakkar / Hakkar the Soulflayer
First of all, Hakkar is not collectible himself. Secondly, he is not Warrior specific, I just thought the red border was really cool on him, and considering he's a token I figured it wouldn't do too much harm (see Ysera's cards for example, they're Hunter-colored! Example: Laughing Sister).
It's kind of like the Stalagg and Feugen thing, but Hakkar is just incredibly powerful.
Kum'Isha the Collector
'
It's this douche! So, he has terrible stats, but in late game he can potentially heal like nothing else! If you don't know who this dude is, he's a questgiver in Blasted Lands. You can randomly find so called "Draenethyst Spheres" from mobs in the Blasted Lands, and when you turn them in Kum'Isha is usually disappointed because the Sphere wasn't big enough. Then he gives you a sack containing a bunch of junk.
Murmur
This is just kind of a fun but useless card, like Nozdormu. I just think it's hillarious :P
Stitches
Stitches has even made an appearance in Heroes of the Storm, and well. Here's him in Hearthstone!
I couldn't figure out a hook-mechanic, but the Plague Cloud mechanic works pretty well for him.
- Epics -
Crystalline Giant
It's another giant! Play on curve and you will be rewarded ;)
Doesn't that make it a win more card though? Maybe it should only reduce when it's in your hand.
Ethereal Soul-Trader
Oh man, I want a card that gives your opponent a minion you control. It could be so fun! In order to balance it, I had to make that mana cost restriction. Otherwise you could just exchange a Silver Hand Recruit for a Deathwing, and that wouldn't be fair!
Flight Master
Just fly over those sons of bitches! Terrible stats for a 6-drop, but could work as a finisher. A card like this might be a bit toxic to the game though, because it might make aggro decks kind of terrifying. But hey, that has happened before. It's very situational though, and I don't think it's too overpowered.
- Rares -
Blackwing Drake
I was going to make a finished drake-cycle, since Azure Drake already existed. My idea was that the card's base would be a 4/4 for 5, then I would add some small stat (in Azure Drake's case it's +1 Spellpower, here it's +1 Attack), and a minor but still good battlecry. Then I realized Emerald Drake was outside of the cycle and then I just didn't make the rest.
Oh well, even though it's simple, it's useful probably. Like Azure Drake. Also there's Blackrock Mountain luring around the corner :)
Dark Siphoner
I think the effect is cool, but I didn't know what statline I wanted to put it on. This might be a bit too powerful, but keep in mind that you already have to have a board of 3-Attack minions, or at least one, to make it useful when you play it.
Also I just came up with that disclaimer. If it weren't there, this card would just be stupidly broken.
Drakkari Deathseer
First of all, the art is fucking amazing. Secondly, imagine the things that would happen with this on the board! It's hillarious! Imagine multiple of them! Muahahahah!
Feral Felboar
This acctually made it to the Hearthcards gallery, so I guess it's extra good? I mean, it's unique I guess.
Mo'arg Fleshshaper
Kind of a simple card really, but I wonder if it would see any play. Crazed Alchemist sure doesn't, but since this one doesn't have terrible stats...
Stable Master
This might not even be op even if it restored Beasts to full health, but 3 would be enough in most circumstances anyway. It could be used in Beast centric decks, but if those got popular Priest could use it against them with Auchenai Soulpriest, which is hillarious.
Swindler
That sure is a troll! I thought the reverse ogre-thing was kind of interesting, and since minions have a chance to not attack this the stats can be adjusted aggressively.
- Commons -
Ravenous Ravager
This is a really simple one, but it is a common after all. I think it's just, well, all around balanced.
Old versions:
Just because I have made changes to some cards doesn't mean the old ones can inspire other creations!
Channeler:
I think this is the most complicated card I've made so far, but in my head I didn't think it was going to be that complicated... It's not too hard to understand though, the only thing to explain is probably that if you play a spell that can't target, then it's just played normally.
Sunwalker Dezco
He is the leader of the Sunwalkers himself, Dezco! He's a pretty bad ass dude, but I couldn't think of anything really flavorful so I just made his effect bad ass instead. Uh... he might spiral out of control now that I look at it. Maybe I should tweak it...
So, I hope you liked it and leave any feedback or just discuss if you want to :)
Wow I really liked all of these! The effects are brilliant, some of the best I've ever seen! A few cards are overpowered but it's just because of high stats. A little bit of adjustment and these could be real meta changers without being overpowered.
One card though as you note presents some mechanical difficulties:
If the spell you cast that requires a target (e.g., Fireball) then you introduce a requirement that you must choose the target for a spell during your opponent's turn. Also, are you envisioning that your opponent will see the spell cast when it is turned into a secret?
Channeler: The concept is nice however you need to change that card text in some way. Like it is Unstable PortalArcane Intellect etc. would be turned into secrets but can't target any minions.

So, I guess I didn't think so much when I made this card. I just thought it was a cool concept, but didn't entirely figure out how it would work. It might just, not work, I'm not sure. I'll think about it.
Sunwalker Dezco: Probably a win more card but crazy powerful especially given how easy it is for pally to create masses of minions.
I agree, but I still really like that type of effect - especially on Paladin since there's a lot of token support but not quite enough for it to become a viable deck type. I should probably tone down the trigger of his effect and/or his stats, because at the moment he just seems like a really overpowered version of Stormwind Champion.
Edit: It might also become a bit too strong in combination with the other card I made for the token-type Paladin, Rally. It's always good to give a deck type a little nudge, but maybe I shouldn't go too hard :P
Rageblade: How is that supposed to work? Weapons can't be damaged and thus can't be enraged. Is this supposed to trigger when your hero is damaged? Because then its crazy OP
It doesn't get damaged really, but I was thinking it would get buffed after it has lost it's first durability. So on its first charge it deals 3 damage and on its second charge it deals 6. I should probably clarify that.
Pickpocket: This is such a priest like mechanic... and it's one that is already hated when priests do it i don't really see why we would give those shenannigans to rogues as well.
I know it's already a Priest mechanic, but I think it could work in Rogue as well. I think it fits the class well considering the sneaky plays you can do. Rogues are all about being sneaky! Also, I don't really mind Thoughtsteal/Mind Vision, I think they're fun. I guess I could increase the mana cost on it though, because it's not traditionally a Rogue mechanic and should therefore maybe be a bit weaker in Rogue?
Thanks for the feedback, I'll update some of the cards when I add in the Neutral cards then :)
Goldrin would be nasty if you can get him stealthed. Your opponent couldn't attack face without his minions taking damage. Since Hero Attack doesn't turn off like weapons do.
For an example of this see Misdirection while you have a weapon or use the druid power. Your minion can attack your face and take the damage from your hero.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Doctor Who? Dr. Boom. Timelord and Friend of All Daleks(Boom Bot).

Oh shit, didn't think about that. The intention was that you only would have the attack on your turn xD

These are some great cards. Well done!
So, I guess I didn't think so much when I made this card. I just thought it was a cool concept, but didn't entirely figure out how it would work. It might just, not work, I'm not sure. I'll think about it.
It doesn't get damaged really, but I was thinking it would get buffed after it has lost it's first durability. So on its first charge it deals 3 damage and on its second charge it deals 6. I should probably clarify that.
Doctor Who? Dr. Boom. Timelord and Friend of All Daleks(Boom Bot).
Oh shit, didn't think about that. The intention was that you only would have the attack on your turn xD
I'll change that, thanks for mentioning it :P
Now the gallery is updated with Neutral cards as well as some fixes on the class cards.
I will probably make some more cards in the future, but I hope you like the ones that are currently here :)
In its current form, Crystaline Giant has the potential to become 2-cost at turn 7, lol. I think he should only reduce cost while in your hand.
Whatever else i have to say has already been said, unfortunate for a critic like me. But i give this a +1
I need YOUR feedback on my ideas for this weeks card contest!
