You must design a card that is reliant on deck composition to function. Recruit does not count.
How exactly the deck must be composed is up to you. No duplicates, 15 Dragons, all class cards; etc., etc.
We have whittled down ~90 valid submissions to just 12 of the community's favorites. I'd like to report a small bug or something with the voting. I accidentally upvoted a few submissions several times and wasn't able to un-vote because the button didn't turn into an X after I clicked it, so my attempts to undo my extra votes only resulted in more. this hasn't happened in previous contests, so I thought I'd post it here to let the managers know. Wasn't sure where else to put it.
I'd like to report a small bug or something with the voting. It's a visual thing: your vote was only counted once...or not at all, if you "voted" an even number of times. You're really just voting, undoing the vote, and voting again. This can sometimes be solved simply by refreshing/reloading the page.
Unfortunately that bug has been around for a long time :(

The balance tho... a start of game murloc Keleseth and dragon Patches... everyone would love that -_-
I think the Assimilator is inherently broken too. There was a reason that most Magnetic mechs weren't made very powerful. It's because the mechanic is very snowbally and with a deck that has this guy - probably unstoppable.
I like the Wereloc and Shuriken Ambush because they just seem the most genuine.
I'm not complaining, but it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. 25 people can upvote a submission, but the only vote that matters is that of a mod. It's like a worse version of the electoral system.
Oh man, there are some ridiculously overpowered cards here. I can't vote for those.
My vote will have to go to Nevraska, as that's a cool design with both an advantage and a restriction. Unlike that Dragon Trainer, which is just all kinds of ridiculous. I mean, at least make it like 5 mana 2/2.

I'll have to give it to the assimilator tho. Very well designed restriction and reward imo.

Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
Second most votes on the first page and didn't make the cut, that stings. Congrats to all the finalists, there are some nice designs there.

Card Design ChampionRogue, isn't it obvious? This is why I think it's kinda busted. Rogue can use Gang Up, Lab Recruiter or/and Togwaggle's Scheme. Add a Backstab and a Necrium Blade (Cavern Shinyfinder) to your hand and you have built yourself a nice early game.
It's as busted as VanCleef. Best you can do is shit out a 6/6 on turn 1 with a 3 card combo and the coin.
