If you choose Dragon, your card cannot be a Priest or Paladin card. (ex. Sindragosa )
If you choose Elemental, your card cannot be a Mage or Shaman card. (ex. Benevolent Djinn and Tar Lord )

Kinda bumping this thread, so that people can become active.
I like the design of the majority of the cards, but my personal favourites would be:
- Ozymandias's Waxed Elemental (great synergy with the dudes. This card really fits the paladin class)
- Thezzy's Phasebound Elemental - I personally think, it's a bit op, but the effect is more than interesting and I would love to see this being implemented in the game. About time we see something new.
Really cool finalists but I'm voting only for my Top 3 (no particular order): "Shifter Zuri" by zartgruen, "Drakonid Souldrinker" by Maldoni and "Fishpistol Deckhand" by KingKuba. Thanks for your 130 submissions!
Glad I made it. Sorry I didn't take feedback into account becuase I had no other ideas that was better than Blindlight.
My favorites are
Waxed Lord - This could clearly see play on top of being flavorful.
Tiny Rascal - Damn, the flavor of this is off the charts but the card still has a decent effect on top of that. Only criticism is that "tiny" doesn't fit the 3/4 statline.
Honorable Mentions
Fishpistol Deckhand - Cool card, but not as cool as Waxed and Rascal
Gnoll Lootout - Thanks for the art whick I'll definitely use in my Chef class.
Aww, Waxed Lord, one of the cutest artworks iv seen in a while <3 When i first saw this card, i thought Wax Elemental was acually Wax Rager and was like ... are you serious ?:D but after i realized what card Wax Elemental was, the card became quite cool. Frog Prince, great flavor too!
Shifter Zuri: would this card even work? by definition, when a minion gets transformed, it is a different, new minion ... so by saying "on this minion", would it actually cast it again on the new, evolved one? Not sure tbh.
Phasebound Elemental: very confusing card text ... excess damage from ... this minion? or in general? That being said, would it even work? I dont think that there is acutally an "excess damage" indicator in the game at all, given how Explosive Runes work ... the secret simply calculates where what damage goes before it is distributed based on the health of the target minion, the excess damage is just a figure of speech to make it "easilly understandable", but as we learned with the divine shield interaction, the mechanic is anything but clear, if you look deeper.

With excess damage I meant that if you hit it with 8 damage (for example) when it has 5 health, it goes to -3. You can see that ingame all the time. That -3 then becomes the new 3 health for the Elemental. You have to bring it to exactly 0 health to kill it.
As for my interests, I like the Alexstrasza for a simple yet fitting card text and the Waxed Lord for flavor/fun. :)

Well, then It should probably read "Excess damage dealt to this minion becomes its new Health.", but even then, its not very clear as to how would that mechanic work, since -3 most certainly does not indicate a 3 Health total end result :) At least not according to the wording. According to the wording, the minion would just die, since it would have negative health as new health total.
I think that Blindlight Oracle has the coolest mechanic among the finalist. I really like the idea of Phasebound Elemental, too. I'm gonna vote for them.
Some pretty nice cards here. I like Wax Lord and especially Phasebound Elemental. Both look cool. It would be interesting to see if Snow Tiger Familiar would work in Big Mage with smaller casting spells, because from my knowledge, low mana spells with increased cost (5 or more) won't count towards the 5+ Mana cost. Could matter for cards like Polymorph or Ice Block.

Id be more worried about 5-cost Pyroblast finishers :)
Bumping the topic. Also, what did y'all think of mine? This is the first time I've entered, and I'm thrilled that mine made it through! I'm also throwing a vote to Snow Tiger Familiar, Tiny Rascal, and Blindlight Oracle. Best of luck, everyone!

Who thought Blindlight Oracle was a good idea? A Coldlight Oracle with better effect and more stats, and for the class that has the best mill decks.
Heckdragon was the best one. It fits the class both effect- and flavour-wise, and it also has a text related to its tribe instead of just having the tribe slapped on it for no reason.

This is just strictly not true. Yes, obviously in a mill deck the fact that you can play it to discard some of your opponent's cards is good, but giving your opponent two cards is a downside, period. Look at Dancing Swords, a terrible card outside of Arena because its Deathrattle is so bad for you.
One of the bonuses of Coldlight Oracle is that you can play it to gain cards yourself without prior set-up - that was one of the reasons mentioned for it rotating, the fact that it was really strong neutral draw. The fact that that effect is on a combo on this card makes it an almost always worse effect than Coldlight Oracle. That + Class card = more stats.

I really like the Heckdragon and the Waxed Lord, they seem to be the best ones flavor-wise. And although I am a little disappointed that I didn't make it to the final, I congratulate everyone who did, and hope I can make it in there next time.

OMG. I've just realized this is my second time picking a theme and... I've forget AGAIN to choose a Wild Card o_O
PS: no Druid card as finalist!
