this is a pretty solid card for the priest. its not in need of a crazy card combo which in my opinion is a big problem with the priest class. injured blademaster + COH, or COH + Soulpriest for the aoe. or digging for shrinkmeister combos. Sacred Warrior has decent stats for its cost (priest really like high health). and this card can snowball really hard just from good use of your hero power. and since it says each time a "character" is healed it triggers when your opponents heals too. so it can mess with your enemies turn from using healbots, earthen ring farseer, healing and vitality totem, or paladins lay on hands. and if both sides have decent boards one circle of healing could turn sacred warrior into a one hitter quitter. really excited for this card personally and could see it becoming a staple card since really the priest is in such a strange place it doesnt really have too many staple cards right now.
I love this card. Heal one guy and it's a 5/5. Do a pyro+circle combo? We could be looking at an attack of 31 (3+14*2). This card could just end the game vs. board flood decks.
Realistically? Heal 6 times with circle+hero power and you have 15 attack.
It's like a Frothing Berserker for priest, except 3/5 for 4 is generally tougher to clear than 2/4 for 3.
I've played a fair amount of priest and I love this card. Solid four drops are hard to come by. The fact that you can heal any character to buff this card makes it so easy to buff to a 5/5 as soon as it is ready to attack. A 5/5 that is ready to attack on turn 5 is very nice against most of the popular 4 or 5 drops in the meta.
Wow, I dno what card you guys are looking at but this is trash in constructed. IMHO
Yet another combo dependent card and it doesn't even require just 1 other card but multiple other cards AND it has to stay alive a turn....complete trash.
a 5/5 for 6-mana (with hero power)....yup, trash
Why do people always fantasize about non-sense 3+ card combos? Flamewaker + Arcane Missles = impact 1 or 2 drop + this trash + pyro + circle = extremely situational combo + no impact
You have to consider, priest has a hero power with a lot of value by itself. So healling another minion by 2 and getting +2 attack is great. Maybe, like dark cultist, this could work like a taunt on turn 4, because this could go crazy if you let this alive. Some priest play Sen'jin today. I would pick this over senjin on my turn 4.
Priest is my favorite class and I respectfully disagree. The problem with the dreaded Inner Fire / Divine Spirit combos is that if you don't draw all the parts the individual cards are mostly worthless. In this case the card is a potential threat but if you can't pull off a combo the card is still a decent body for the mana cost. And synergy with the hero power will probably be even more valuable after we see more cards from this expansion. No, this isn't OP, but it'll definitely see a lot of play.

I think people are not looking at this in the right way. The first thing you do when analyzing a class card is to analyze the class. For anyone who has been playing the game for a while can tell you that priest is a reactionary type class. Many times you are waiting for the opponent to do something and then use a combo or spell to handle it. With this method of play priest tend to play the long game and try and eliminate tempo plays and threats and then push the opponent out with value cards.
I don't like looking at this as taking the place of Auchenai Soulpriest in a deck because many times the board state does not demand you to play her and the combo with CoH. By not developing the board in the mid game like that you set yourself back and then have to rely on big tempo swings back to neutral board state. With the Sacred Hero this card is not waiting for anything to happen or a better board state, it also gets bigger by doing normal things like trading to gain board control and healing something which priest do well.
Will we be able to stick it in a deck that exist now, GOD NO, and why would you. This card will soon be understood and have natural taunt because the fear of it growing to big. Its a proactive card that we priest players are desperate for.

This is a basically how I am seeing it. I feel a lot of whether or not this card sees play with depend heavily one what else comes out. It can be a very scary card, and people will want to remove it for sure and it doesn't die that easily so it could see something built around it or at least have it added as a strong win condition alternative (again depending on what else we see in the set for priest.)

I'm pretty sure you are REALLY wrong here. The most powerful decks in hearthstone have always almost been combo decks (patron warrior, oil/miracle rogue, malygos warlock, etc...). You CANNOT ignore combo potential when evaluating cards for constructed.
This card has good vanilla, and lots of health. then it combos with SO MANY priest cards AND the hero power, it will not be hard to pull this off. If you can get this card to survive a turn (which shouldn't be all that hard with 5 health), it's not a stretch at all to get her between 8-13 health on the next turn.
They really don't want people to just play piloted shredder do they?
They definitely pushed this card, because if it just said +1 no one would play it. With the +2, it pushes it enough that it might see play in control decks over piloted shredder. Do you want to play this card on turn 4 over shredder? Probably not, but it's a much better late draw I think.

It's a 5/5 for 6 that heals for 2 if you want to look at it like that. Also it it has psuedo taunt. Cause if they don't remove automatically almost with no other cards needed, next turn it's gonna whack someone for 7. With the combo, obviously more, but it hardly needs to be comboed to hit hard and that is why it's good.

Shredder is just bad in control priest. Priest can't ping Sludge Belcher
Ähm no. The problem with Dragonkin Sorcerer is that he only gains +1/+1 when you target him yourself with a spell. This is too slow and you need a lot of cards for it to be useful. While this card you need only your hero-power for it. Or together with a circle of healing, you can do a lot of value-trading before, then heal and draw some cards if you also have cleric on board.

You don't need a cRaaAAaAzy combo for this to get out of control, often all it will take is one Holy Nova or Circle of Healing and you're off. You use this in a deck with cards like Dark Cultist, Blademaster and Zombie Chow to solidify early board control, not as a crazy combo piece. If you're opponent doesn't deal with it immediately it WILL get out of control almost naturally.
i do feel this is a pretty solid drop for a priest deck, this actually also makes a decent target for the random resurrect techs as it becomes a 5/5 for 4 mana if it gets brought back
You know, if this minion had been given a Health of 6, like Water Elemental, then I think we'd all be happy with this card. Don't get me wrong, I play Priest more than any other class and I already like the card. But it would really be a game changer with just a little more Health.

I don't think they were thinking of it in terms of getting it played over shredder, I think they were looking at it in terms of trying to get it played period. The whole point of a new expansion is to get people to play some of the new cards so that people will want and buy the new cards. I don't think they "pushed" the card to make it good, I think they know that +1 would do nothing and have basically no impact on the game, while +2 makes the card possibly playable. Even in a world without shredder no one would have played it over yeti if it only got +1 attack each time.
I posted this under the card area too...I disagree with most of the people that like this card. Maybe you could run one and hope for a non-charge frothing type combo...but the number of games you win with that will be far outweighed by the number of games you lose because you burned a circle for little gain....
4 mana is not where Priest needs a buff. Auchenai sits there, as does Shadow Madness. A few people have been playing Shenjen as a 4 drop too, but if you run this, what are you cutting? a shadow madness?
1 and 2 drops are the problem for priest. Other than combo-shrinkmeister, they all suck. Pyro is good for certain decks, but something like an anoyotron with more health would be insane since you could plop it on 2...it would live....and then you could Velen it.
The odds this card makes it past a turn with multiple heals is slim...you might as well just play a yeti and on average you will be in about the same place. Turn 4 burning a circle is a big deal...and a turn 6 6-mana 5/5 is crap.
