No one saying recombulator...... Sad that guy looks amazing.
I've seen first hand how devestating he is. Mind visioned a max tank off my opponent, played it, cut down it's health then thought wait... aren't minions at 8 mana mostly powerful legendaries? Sure enough traded my 7/2 tank out for gruul and single handedly won the game. It's crazy how powerful this guy is, if you have a high mana minion on the board you can use up all its health then trade it out for something that will in all likelihood be very powerful.
Like at 9 mana you're pretty guaranteed a fresh 8/8 at worst and the odds are in your favour to get a legendary with tasty text, are there even any non legendaries for 9 mana?

But then.... why not just run that 9 mana card to begin with? Like why run Nozdormu in hopes that you can recombobulate it into Ysera when you can just run Ysera? Even the situation you listed, you mind visioned a bad card, and that was the only way you got value off him. If you'd just mind visioned Rags his ability wouldn't have done you much good.
In regards to the question, that's a tough one. Ill go with:
Most played:
Arcane Nullifier X-21: I think this card will see a lot of play. It has shroud, has a big butt, and is a mech. I mean I can't count the number of times my Taz'dingo has gotten spelled because that 5 health was so annoying to deal with.
Piloted Shredder: Honestly any of the 3 shredders could be here, but I picked this since it's the cheapest and the 4 spot is less congested that the 6 and 8 spots. Bad stats for a 4 drop but almost always a 2 for 1.
Explosive Sheep: Since aggro will probably always be a thing on ladder, this thing will almost always get solid value. Especially with decks that can proc it themselves.
Vol'jin: I'm cheating a lil since this is a class card, but I think it's the best legendary in the set and priests are going to be everywhere after this expansion launches so by extention we'll be seeing a lot of this card.
Mechwarper: Guaranteed to be a two of in every single mech deck. The fact that it's a 2/3(unlike summoning portal) and there's no restriction on how cheap your mechs gets makes me think he'll be all over the place come next week. Thankfully he doesn't seem ot hard to kill.
Least played:
Gnomish Experimenter: I just don't see any world where this card isn't horrible. Unless you're building a deck where one copy of this is the only creature in your deck I just don't understand why you'd take that risk.
Blingtron 3000: I see some people trying to run this for some harrison jones shenanigans, giving their opponent a Doomhammer while they get a Light's Justice and realizing this card is ass.
Recombobulator: Just bad, such a situational and random ability. Only circumstance where it's good is which shadow madness, but that's a 2 card, 6 mana combo which involves 2 very situational cards.
Ancestor's Call: Similar to Blingtron, shaman players will try this, summon an opponents Ysera and then realize this card is booty.
Hemet Nesingwary: Even in a hunter meta I don't see this card getting play. It's a more situational harrison jones with much worse stat distribution.
My Predictions are also based on rarity as not a lot of players can craft legendary cards just cause they think it will be fun. And also mech decks will be fun early but will drop off over time, same idea as murlocs just a few more cards.

I feel that Recombobulator is going to be a staple in Handlocks, considering the only things of the same mana costs as the giants are themselves. Basically a 2 mana full heal for them.
You don't run him to turn you nordzomu into a ysera you run him because he is a free freaking heal all the way! Plus getting a better card is just a benefit!
Mechwarper: Core of all mech decks, which are bound to see lot of play and I'd expect at least one competitive version to emerge.
Spider Tank: Will go into all mech decks and is a very good early board control minion for many decks in general.
Toshley: He's got some value to spare and much like Sylvanas this is a great mid-game minion that can played in a whole bunch of decks without any special synergy requirements.
Annoy-o-Tron and Explosive Sheep: Aggro will always be very popular and I expect these to see significant play as very early deterrents.
Recombobulator: Just bad, such a situational and random ability. Only circumstance where it's good is which shadow madness, but that's a 2 card, 6 mana combo which involves 2 very situational cards.
Go into the cards section of this site, filter the cards to show cards with 7+ mana, realise that you can trade a huge minion down to 1 health then play recombobulator and the worst you can get is a core hound and that you're odds on for a strong legendary (at full health).

I think it is geared toward battlecry minions. For instance, turn 9 Alexstrasza then turn 10 hit one of their big minions with it and recombobulate into Ysera.
just think about recombolbulator + bomb lobber or the 3/3 that heals you for 8. in a deck where you put costly minion for bad stats (due to their effect), this card will be a beast.

5 Most Played GvG Cards (Neutral)
Dr. Boom- He's a solid 7-drop with amazing late-game potential.
Sneed's Old Shredder- Even with the chances of "lame" legendaries to be produced, still a great one to enchant.
Kezan Mystic- Until the Huntertaker fad goes away, expect to see this card everywhere.
Bomb Lobber- Face it, everyone who's seen this appear in Arena has seen it do great things.
Cogmaster- Say hello to the new one-two punch in aggro.
5 Least Played GvG Cards (Neutral)
Hemet Nesingwary- Unless Beast engines become rampant in the meta, he'll rarely see play.
Clockwork Giant- Another great idea, but very situational. Not worth a deck spot when you can get a different Giant.
Flying Machine- Despite having some amazing art, it will only see rare play in buff control decks.
One-eyed Cheat- Even more situational and weaker than Ship's Cannon.
Ship's Cannon- The Pirate deck is still missing a few key components to make it happen. Target Dummy will get more play than this.
Behold, the Might of Stormwind!
Most Played:
Mechwarper
Troggzor the Earthinator
Sneed's Old Shredder
Cogmaster
Piloted Shredder
Least:
Ship's Cannon
Target Dummy
Hemit Nesingwary
Flying Machine
Gnomeregan Infantry
No one saying recombulator...... Sad that guy looks amazing.
Target dummy is the new OP. Turn 2 Druid: Innervate, Innervate, Target Dummy, Target Dummy, Mimiron's head.
Boom.
Also turn 1 Cogmaster+Target Dummy

you need the perfect hand, odds of that happening are so small. are you going to play a card at the hopes you will get a 1/1000 hand?
But then.... why not just run that 9 mana card to begin with? Like why run Nozdormu in hopes that you can recombobulate it into Ysera when you can just run Ysera? Not going to bother with least played
1. Mech Warper
2. Enhance-o-mechano
3. Hobgoblin
4. Sneed's old shredder
5. Mimron's Head (at least the first week of the season).
My Predictions are also based on rarity as not a lot of players can craft legendary cards just cause they think it will be fun. And also mech decks will be fun early but will drop off over time, same idea as murlocs just a few more cards.
1. Burly Rockjaw Trogg
Solid card that limits the enemy in casting spells
2. Piloted Shredder
A strong card that can single handedly win a game if you have Rnjesus on your side.
3. Explosive Sheep
Strong aoe removal for all classes, whats not to love?
4. Arcane Nullifier X-21
This card is insane, loosing 1 attack to not be targeted by spells is value
5. Ogre Brute
Strong stats for tempo, with an ability that can sometime help you alot.
Tinkertown technician will be in every deck with mechs, so every deck for the next few months.
I feel that Recombobulator is going to be a staple in Handlocks, considering the only things of the same mana costs as the giants are themselves. Basically a 2 mana full heal for them.

LoL Target dumy + cogmaster is "OP" for you?:D
Most played in no particular order:
Arcane Nullifier X-21: Awesome taunt minion, might even turn out to be the best.

Since when a vanilla 2-3 card is not played in arena. The extra ability is just an upside, even if it is non-relevant.
It's sad to waste an epic pick with a Bloodfen Raptor... but I have done it.
Mechwarper
Clockwork Gnome
Jeeves
Bomb Lobber
Explosive Sheep
Signature !!!!
