As it stands, you will HAVE to use N'Zoth to complete the quest, meaning that its a deck that has to last till turn 10. Its also going to be a Wild deck, and you don't have enough board clear besides ol' Auchenai+CoH.
I'd take out Cairne, and put in Sneed's since this is wild
Reno-shadow-justicar-inspire-priest future tier cancer derk ?
EDIT: On second thought, I assume this only decreases the cost of your current hero power and that the effect is cancelled if you change it through Shadowform or Justicar Trueheart so you must have a lot of setup for this to be effective. Even if it's not viable it's still a fun card for gimmick decks though.
Priest is one of the more effective decks at both lasting long enough to set up their power, and getting the set-up done. The main question will be between Shadowform (To dump damage) or Trueheart (To become super-control). A pitty that priest does not have a strong inspire setup, but the ability to have free heals/damage from turn 4/5 on is large.
TBH, this is even worse game decision than introduction of standart. It show how awfull game design was and will be in hearthstone. And laziness of not fixing cards will prevail. Basically this change should be name - "we are too lazy to fix stuff, it takes time and thinking. from now on any problem will be just removed from the game".
Indeed. Bit late, but its akin to one of ben brodes previous posts - "If it doesn't change enough with classic remaining, just nerf all of classic". Like, wtf... I better start on all the heroic adventures asap
Personally, I think they missed their chance - Moroes shoulda been "Stealthed.End of turn, summon a Steward with the exact same stats as Moroes". Would have helped Priest out a bit.
One - Parrots can't be used in Standard next patch, along with Ol' Murk-Eye
Two - Pirate decks are getting pretty badly nerfed with the removal of Cannons.
Three - Parrot will be craftable next patch for 400 dust each. Since Greenskin can be acquired via packs, crafting Greenskin JUST for the parrot is not a wise decision.
Four - Parrot can be detrimental, as alot of Pirates have a good battlecry that is buffed by weapons. No point to getting out a Corsair thats a 2/3, when you could play it as a 6/3 for 3.
Strong when combod with cards that are 6- minus mana. Starfall - Deal 7 damage to one minion, 2 to others. Natures Grasp - +4/4 with taunt. Keeper - Silence a minion AND deal 2 damage to it. Dark Wispers - Give Fandral +5/5 and Taunt, and summon 5 wisps. Wrath deals 4 damage and draws a card. Raven Idol, discover minion AND a spell.
And if you can get him to last a single turn, you can start comboing with the big boys - Ancient of War, Lore, and the best, Cenarius (Summon 2 4/4 minions with Taunt and +2/2 to board, yesplz)
Since Undertaker is being removed from standard, he needs to be buffed. Lets say, +1 attack whenever a deathrattle minion is summoned, +1 hp whenever a deathrattle minion dies, so that you can counter him before he snowballs into a 10/11.
The absolute WORSE card you can get from this is Magma Rager, or maybe one of the few 2/2s there are. Most of the 1/4s tend to come with an effect that makes them usable at the most, whether thats Windfury or Taunt/Charge.
On average, you'll get a 3/3, so its essentially an 8/8 for 6 mana. Even in the worse case, its either a 10/6 for 6 mana, or a 7/7 for 6 mana.
Best case is either King Mukla for 10/10, or Arcane Golem for a 4 mana charge.

With this, Doomcaller, and the other C'Thun minions, C'Thun decks are 100% going to be a thing, no questions bout it.

Eh, I thought they were just moving Old Murk-Eye and Parrot to Classic?
