In the video they show us very bad move if anyone else noticed. Alextrasza discovers Ysera + discover dragon that gives another Alextrasza. Ysera gives you 9 copies of the same spell into ypur decks that makes you another Alex not playable for some time sure. Guys dont be greedy as in the reveal video.
this card can only be evaluated after all dragons from upcoming set are revealed.
With dragons, that are available now in standard, this card wouldn't be amazing. Playable for sure, but for greedy control/value decks only. With current standard dragons, there is way more mediocre than awesome dragons.
I know that DoD will bring a lot of new (insanely strong) dragons, so this card should get better and better with time. I can imagine those 0 mana dragons being insane tempo swing after board clears, so if meta will be slow enough we should see this card in play.

They're free. Even Brightwing is a really solid pull. Getting pretty much any 4-5 drop for free is great. The only really bad result is the one that summons a poisonous minion for your opponent, and maybe Deathwing.
Also the actual most likely result is the dragons you get are going to be 8/8s.
I honestly find these highlander cards boring. It removes the skill involved in deck building because they're so incredibly powerful, that you just slot them into a highlander deck without any thought.
If you want to build a highlander deck, you're going to need this card. A 9 mana 8/8 that gives you 2 dragons that you can immediately throw down onto the board is just too much tempo and it gets even crazier if it gives you another Dragonqueen.
If they would tone down the power level of these highlander cards instead of making them all auto-includes, it would make the archetype more interesting since you would have to actually think whether or not to include them.
I dont think it's SPECIFICALLY the power level of the highlander cards, as much as it is the general swiss-army-knife usage of them. If we had a highlander card that was specific for aggro, and one that specifically helped mechs, and so on and so fourth, they wouldn't all be auto includes. Sadly though, with how it is now, they're all just generally good cards with good generic uses.
If the Highlander cards weren't sufficiently powerful, they wouldn't justify the downside of filling your deck with one-offs, though.
It's not that I don't want them to be powerful. I think they should be powerful cards, I just think they should be less all-around-generalist cards, and have more specialized usage so that you don't just start every highlander deck with "Okay, first let me put in EVERY highlander card."
That said, i think for that to work out we'd need multiple expansions in a row, devoted to highlander mechanics as a primary focus.
people can say "9 mana do nothing lul" but the 2 free dragons have the potential of both being battlecry effects that act as its on play effect plus having an additional 8/8 body

Card is insanely powerful. Turn 9 you can highroll two very strong Dragons. You could even get a second copy of this and get more value. Quite frankly unless there are a ton of cheap, mediocre dragons this is amazing. Even then, you're still getting some value.
A powerful effect but that of non-duplicates makes no sense to this legendary
Without that is way powerful in druid.
Imagine this card being played in turn 6 in every single game vs druid, many classes can't deal with x3 big minions in that turn, it is much more hard to do that with non duplicates restriction.
I already have the classic Alex golden, might as well craft this good too lol
i wonder if there’s a bias toward class dragons. Imagine being mage and rolling this into kalecgos into Power of creation. Bonkers turn 9. There’s also dragon caster and the explorer and malygos which would all be solid rolls with this card
For the first time ever I'll be crafting this golden before I open up my packs. Sure it'll put me back one Leg and eat up most my dust but this card is going to see a lot of play over the years, and I love highlander decks for their high replay value.
Great card, but sometimes the card glitches. It has happend to me twice now. My deck doesn't got any duplicates, but the battlecry effect didn't come through... Both matchups lost becuz of that...

should be battlecry :add 2 dragons to your hand. if your deck has no duplicates they cost 0
Not a bad card but not in the first 30 1x cards of a "Reno" deck IMHO for it's high variance

Sexy card art, sexy battlecry . . . i'm in.

I use this card a lot and have never seen a glitch. Make sure your deck was not infected by Albatross or any generic tokens.
If you have a gamelog to share that would be best.
