If Control warrior and armor gain is going to be a thing then I am thinking this card will be a reluctant include. There isn't much else to use after rotation to gain armor. Shield Block, Weapon project, Rover, Amorsmith, Emberscale Drake and Dr Boom the hero card.
The cost is disappointing. 1 or 2 mana cost would make it compelling.
And as others have said the card art has nothing to do with the effect...
How can they print a such a bad card with meaningless art with no connection to dr 7. This card could have costed 2 mana and still would be considered an above avarage card
Wow... I know that the Common slot is mostly used for trash cards, but do they have to be this bad?! Not to mention how the effect is the total opposite of the artwork.
The only way this is part of Dr. Boom's "scheme" is that you open dozens of these, and disenchant every single one of them so you can afford Blastmaster Boom and two Wrenchcalibur, which will likely end up in most Warrior decks in Standard.
Dr. Boom's real scheme is to make you craft more expensive cards, because the cheap ones are terrible.
This looks like a card that was nerfed after playtesting. Warrior has a lot of strong control tools that aren't rotating out, my guess is that it ended up being too strong in playtesting so this card had to take a hit.
In order for this to possibly be good, you need something really specific. Maybe there is a way to ramp its effect up faster. Or perhaps there is some combo card that lets you pull off an OTK by gaining a bunch of armor in one turn. Based on what we know, though, it's hard to imagine this seeing any serious play.
When Purify was revealed, people had the same reaction. And that card was so bad that Blizzard agreed to not include it into the arena pool. I hope they extend the same decision made before, and not include this into the arena pool.
Good lord..even if this was 0 mana this wouldn't see play..so aweful. Maybe if this was 2 mana x2 armor instead of one each turn..? nah still wouldn't be good enough.
This is actually the worst card ever printed in any card game. Stinks to high heaven of having been nerfed down from 2 armor or something. More likely changed last minute from something that had to do with bombs. The card art makes no sense. I could do a better job. Who got paid to make this card? Get better devs.
I don't honestly think you undertand how high hearthstone sets the lower bound of card power compared to other games... Mtg prints at least one 2/2 for 2 with no text in about every set (at the rare slot a 3/2 or 2/3 for 2 with significant upside isn't uncommon), not to mention lots of high cost cards with poor statlines and very marginal upside that are even difficult to get any value out of in draft. There are also total garbage piles like a 2 mana 2/2 with no upside that destroys your mana when it dies, and a whole host of incredibly mechanically confusing cards that barely do anything if you can even figure out what their effects are supposed to mean.
It's really not anywhere close to the worst hearthstone card. It's not good, and it's simultaneously boring and weak, but it's best to have at least a little bit of perspective. Hearthstone pack filler is much stronger than pack filler from most other card games, and this card could honestly be frustrating to play against if it cost 1-2 mana instead of four.
I dont care about the bad card. I care about the fact that the art style aint nothing like its effect. Thats fishy it seems like it was bombs. I expect some leak explaining why they changed the effect. Its a scheme its supposed to do something proactive not a passive armour stuff.
This card is the single biggest disappointment since Hearthstone’s inception. It is dreadful unless we are in exactly a Freeze Mage meta, but I’m not even annoyed that it’s bad, I’m annoyed that it’s boring. Terrible cards are usually at the very least interesting (Academic Espionage, Temporus, Blackhowl Gunspire, for example, are all unplayable garbage, but also wacky, interesting and challenging to build a deck around). This is just a non include forever because it’s a poor quality card AND it’s not the slightest bit fun for either player.
In addition to the above, the card has absolutely nothing to do with the flavour of Dr. Boom, who is famously a nut job with an explosives obsession. This is looking like a really flavourful and fun expansion on the whole but this card is a massive letdown. Even the artwork makes no sense.
I seriously hope this card is reworked before release because it is a complete waste of a class card slot for both competitive and casual players.

I am quite sure it was "summon 1 boombot" (upgrades every turn)
it would be kinda broken tbh.. I would rather have the above scheme at 10 mana rather than this unplayable garbage, cause 7 rushing boombots would be fun at least.
They didn't even bother with changing the mana cost of this to 0 or 1 where it should be.
Normally I’m all on board about finding the bright side of cards but this is seriously just terrible. 12 turns of a dead card in your hand to approach being worth the mana value. Even a 4 mana card that gave you 12 armor would barely find a home in any decks.
Unless there’s some missing info on how this card works (like 2 armor upgrade a turn) this is in contention for worst card ever printed.
Does anyone know how this works with Dead Man's Hand? Do you shuffle upgraded copies?
First time Legend: 31 August 2018 using Odd Control Warrior
man! I can wait 5 turns to gain 5 armor! What a steal!
Boring :/
It took 11 turns to be one of the five options of Branching Paths... -1 star card

Blizzard employee: We need to make original card....... any idea
First one: Make a boombots scheam (upgrade dis at the end of the turn)
Second one : Give your opponent bomb that reads ,,deal 1 damage (upgrade dis at the end of the turn)
Third one (the lazyest) : I dont realy care.........make another armor related card or whatever
Blizzard employee: Calr ......... you lazy bastard.........YOU ARE GINIUS

The theory this has something to do with bombs makes a lot more sense than the actual card itself.
I agree with the consensus: It's dust.

Wow! Why not 1 mana or zero? Even then it would be unplayable.
Solid contender for worst card ever printed.
Compare with Iron Hide: I would have to hold onto this card for 20 turns to get the same value out of it.
