Agreed. I just crafted both Doomerangs after having Kingsbane since KnC. I have also been collecting weapon buff cards in wild this whole time, only now to see my this deck get completely nerfed. *Sigh* Blizzard, please nerf your cards as soon as they're recognized as an issue, not until after I collect all the cards you'd put in a deck with it.

The game does revolve around its players, though. I Imagine there are a bunch of frustrated players after every major nerf, especially this one. Blizzard needs to change its policy and stop nerfing cards with such weird timings. I mean, all of these nerfs were discussed among the community even a year ago.
Those frustrated players you talk about are the ones who have been ruining the gaming experience for many others with no mercy for a very long time. Seriously, watching this nerfs being implemented...
Well, I agree with the nerfs. But the players are not the ones ruining the gaming experience, blizzard is to blame because they let the players abuse the broken mechanics for so long, even when they were aware of them. This isn't a cheap game and it's understandable to be frustrated when they suddenly decide to decrease the value of your decks.
It's the classic victim shaming that Hearthstone fans unironically spout anytime a meta or deck becomes degenerate...don't blame the company who designed, playtested and released the cards, blame the poor sod's spending money to play a card game, in whatever manner that is. Unfortunately, and offense specifically, but very few people who frequent this site have the perspective to realise this. Easier to blame the simplest target than actually use your brain and be critical yet objective. We do live in the era of the soundbite so there you go.
I'm very happy with this. Now I won't feel completely helpless when my opponent has a completely pimped out Kingsbane. The only true Rogue deck is mill anyway.
LOL I wreck them with my Reno Mage (I tech in 3 different transform effects to royally screw them over, one of which potion of polymoph which totally denies them a turn by playing ANY minion and removes one threat for the entire game). I almost always take Big Priest to fatigue and make them slog through a grueling lost of rezzed sheep, boars, and useless obsidian statues.
Kingsbane Rogue was one of the only decks that always caused me to lose. My experience on ladder will be very interesting now ;)
no wilds not..i still play the same mill bane deck I did before and win just the same. my weapon still hits 20 and who gives a shit if it has lifesteal when the game is over anyway? the devs are dumb and if you cant win without lifesteal then maybe you should play something else....that card just made the deck a one braincell deck now its a 2 braincell deck.
was that you who rage quit when i milled you for 7 cards and you exploded after the kingsbane nerf today? The devs dont nerf players who dont need the card to win anyway. Permanent lifesteal just made the deck casual player easy...Even when i play the way I do a 1 mana 1 turn heal for 15 is fine with me and i clear your board and mill you for 5 the next turn. So I cant keep my life topped off the whole game...wow.....thanks for being the hearthstone player the devs cater too. Ill continue to exploit the exploitable. I milled a jade druid player of all his idols and i healed 3 times that game....yeah the deck is dead.......im glad you think that. Farms gold and I see YOUR OPPONENT LEFT flash just as much.....

Rawr! It's easy to see that this card change triggers you. The deck is going to be even easier to target with aggressive decks now since the pressure you'll receive will put you at low health before you get your single lifesteal swing with a large weapon to stabilize.
Might I suggest another deck more appropriate for your exceptional Hearthstone skill level, say Big Priest? ;)

You talk as if this people were weak and innocent, who have no other choice than to screw other players gaming experience because Blizzard is the devil and forces them to do so. What about stopping playing the goddamn game if they can't afford more than one deck, that funnily, is always a cancerous one? What about stopping caring only about crushing other people online? What about having a bit of dignity and respect for others?
Ok, so how does this spell work finally? Can the lifesteal be manipulated through clever plays (by shuffling the dagger in your deck or returning it to your hand) or is this buff an aura one, which will expire after the turn the spell was cast?

Spending all game masturbating over your Kingsbane is going to have a hell of a lot less value when you're not getting healed for 16 each turn.

So I played today, the 1 turn lifesteal effect is saved each time you wear the weapon on... So it is possible to heal 6-8 times in a game?
Good to hear it. So as it seems, the devs didn't kill this archtype, but only weakened it. Then I guess this is a good change.
Maybe I'm dumb but when I checked it, it didn't keep the lifesteal ?
