Imo, they can simply do not show the cards in the left-up corner of the board, only trigger the battlecry kinda like the new rogue legendary does. It would take much less time.
I don’t think at all the deck is that strong, but it is really boring to play against.
They could nerf lifedrinker to a 2/3 deal 2 restore 2 or, In last case, change the new legendary to not trigger more than once the same battlecry if the card shows really OP

Your point is invalid. Shudderwock REPEATS all the battlecries you've played during the game.
What if Lifedrinker text was "Battlecry: choose a hero, deal 3 dmg to it and heal 3 to the other". That is an easy fix if you want to prevent otk and leave legendaries fun and playable
I think it's too early to start nerfing decks. And Blizzard must have seen this coming. I mean, they made Grumble, Worldshaker and Shudderwock :-)
I do have problems with the time it takes for the animation to run. You can just go and make coffee, when it goes off.
I don't think it should be nerfed as well , but for different arguments. Blizz use to do crazy stuff before - printing Shadowreaper Anduin after Raza for example which so obviously lead to breaking the meta. I think the case is similar now, just power level is different (Randuin was way more crazy IMO)

The battlecry says summon a copy of this minion, so it copies the effect and summons a copy of Shudderwock not a Saronite
Gimme a break. It's NOT broken. It's a hard deck to pilot and even if you play it perfectly, you can still get crushed if you don't get your combo pieces. It doesn't need a nerf.

In my opinion it is broken because its much easyer to get the combo (if you compare it with exodia) and there is simply no way you can die with healing rain and the massive taunts. Exodia depends on freeze and ice block but this deck has board control with minions and still waits for the comb.
I'm calling BS right now. No way you can die, really? Wait a few weeks until the meta settles and the aggro decks get refined and get back to all of us with that hyperbole.
Exodia mage need a lot of cards and need they alive on the board. Exodia Paladin need the four horseman alive on the board. Exodia Shaman only need to play the cards and at some point you lose. It's easy and non-sense. You can't play arround.
lets see what the meta will say but at it current state i guess all agree that shaman needed something to get back to top tiers but shudderwork is just too much and completly force people to not play late game oriented decks because shaman would win anyways.

I have played like 10-20 games with dirrent kind of shudder variations. After playing those I am not even interested playing other controllish type of decks (been Priest player). I am not going into aggro decks as they do not attract me at all. Personally I would like to test some new Priest decks, maybe some steal Rogue but they have relatively small chances to be successfull againt this in the late game. While I played shudder shaman deck I felt pity on my opponent watching those stupid animation to go on for minutes, got myself bored also.
In my opinion this kind of card/deck is not good for hearthstone, at least I do not even bother to play game if I face this kind of decks mostly. Even paying against cubelock is much more fun than against this. I was pretty excited on the upcoming expansion earlier this week but was brought down from the hype by this depressing deck type alone.
There is no way to counter combo when the pieces are put together, maybe you can struggle few more turns which last like 10+ minutes. Clearing board does not help, hitting face does not help (unless you have lethal) as they will be back up on hp right after they play same boring animation again and again...in addition on taking your hp down slowly. Even if the combo would be like others OTK it would be better, now it is like slowly killing your opponent (IRL into boredom as well) in 2-5+ turns.
Maybe this will be settled in few weeks, but I have my doubts on this (unless some changes are done in game).
Life Drinker to deathrattle might be the most balanced thing I could agree on.
This sounds reasonable change (fix). It would still leave the spirit of Shudderwock untouched and maybe evolve different kind of deck instead of this OP combo.

played against it a few times I don't feel like it's any more oppressive than cubelock, control shaman beeds a win condition and here we have it.
I hope the otk variant won't be a mainstay since it takes forever to trigger.
also the fact that the shaman needs to orobably draw his whole deck before the combo is active means it's fine.. it's not just draw a "raza".

All those replay of effect should stop if their source get off the board, like Yogg.

I feel making it cost 10 is also a fix as it makes the murmuring elemental combo take a lot more setup
