Gimme a break. It's NOT broken. It's a hard deck to pilot and even if you play it perfectly, you can still get crushed if you don't get your combo pieces. It doesn't need a nerf.
As I've said many times they should rotate a card like dirty rat into classic set or.something like that...
I always like a tech option, or the ability to mitigate your opponents combo, e.g. OTK paladin you adapt to the burglys or take the risk
The only thing that annoys me about the shudderwock combo is we have no mitigation to battlecrys.. the only work around is treachery warlock or gnomeferatu?
The first issue that needs to be fixed is the animation being too long. The deck is great if you know what you're doing, but it's not that easy to play with, pretty much like every other otk deck out there. If a nerf is indeed needed, I think blizzard would change Grumble so it doesn't reduce the cost of minions it bounced, If that feels too bad, make it bounce all minions and change it's cost 8, or even 10.
Shudderwock is not Broken, and while there is a huge bug/issue with how long it takes to resolve the effect, the real problem is that there are no more combo disrupting card. Coldlight is gone, along with dirty rat, iceblock, deathlord has been gone awhile. The only disruptive card left is naturalize or something like hungry dragons deathrattle. If we still had dirty rat, it would be 2 of in most non aggro decks and shudderwock wouldn't stand a chance. Combo has almost always been peoples least favorite archetype to play against, som blizzard should make ways to interact with those combos. A quick fix now would be to change saronite chain gang, but in the long term blizzard needs more combo disrupter cards.
They never nerfed Exodia mage and it's basically the same if you draw all the pieces and play everything correctly you win it destroys slow decks and gets destroyed by aggro decks
3. ITS A DECK LIKE EXODIA.. YOU MAKE THE COMBO GOOD YOU WIN BASICALLY
In my opinion it is broken because its much easyer to get the combo (if you compare it with exodia) and there is simply no way you can die with healing rain and the massive taunts. Exodia depends on freeze and ice block but this deck has board control with minions and still waits for the comb.
If it gets detroyed / returned to hand the battlecry chain should end.
Look at the post above you! The original Shudderwock never gets returned, only the copy is returned. That means, if it gets the Yogg treatment, nothing will change. The equivalent is if Yogg casts Molten Reflection on itself, then returns the copy with Shadowstep, then the combo is not interrupted, because the original is still on the board.
I am not even shure, that the deck is THAT good. I mean it is a very nice OTK deck, but i dont think that this is the real problem. The real problem is the time the battlecry takes.
If they can make it faster, the deck wouldnt be so annoying, so the community could look how to counter it.
And the deck IS easy counterable if you arent trying to go full value.
It does not need fixing, the animation does. And it is beyond me how anyone can propose anything other than changing Chain Gangs text IF it should be nerfed
Judging by the deck's win percentage, and having tested it on my own, it does NOT need any fix for sure.. it is very difficult to pull off, requires lots of cards and time, and not dying..
The animations for sure NEED fix though..

Maybe they should change the voiceline to, idk "HAAAHAhaha" every time a copy of it is summoned when the original is on board

I think it's too early to start nerfing decks. And Blizzard must have seen this coming. I mean, they made Grumble, Worldshaker and Shudderwock :-)
I do have problems with the time it takes for the animation to run. You can just go and make coffee, when it goes off.
How about dis-including legendary minions from shudderwok's battlecry?
That it can't Zola itself either, It's still pretty good, but it doesn't wrek everything.
So the new text would be:
Battlecry: repeat all Non-Legendary Battlecries this game (targets chosen randomly)
why would you want to fix this deck ? it looses to every kind of aggro deck atm.
Optimized aggro decks will trash this deck.

Life Drinker to deathrattle might be the most balanced thing I could agree on.
