I pretty much disagree with everyone saying this isn't any good, I really like it and think it has a LOT of potential. Seems memey now, but I think it'll work out in constructed if not now then by the next expansion. Need some more good warrior cards, but still.
I don’t think axe flinger comparisons are right since it only hit face. A better one would be flamewaker.
I feel like this should have, say, 15 or 16 health instead of 8. Or be untargetable by spells.
In the current meta, this probably will get 2 attacks off commonly assuming no combos. (Warlock won’t be able to 1 shot it for instance) Is 6 random damage enough on average with possibility of more?
Speaking of a Warlock, this is quite a good defile counter. Don’t think defile is useful vs Warrior but would be funny.
Wow! That card can bring Scourgelord Garrosh into competitive play with its hero power!! And just imagine crazy shenanigans with Axe Flinger deck type!!!
I really wanted to get back into warrior after the Witchwood. But this card sucks. Even if you get it out on Turn 7, it does nothing right away. So you have just left it there to be removed. It won't help your existing minions (if any). That's a big risk to take.
Compare this to other 7 cost cards - not the least of which is Lord Godfrey - and you see how awful this card really is.
What if it's even just silenced? Then you have 3 attack? Brutal.
What was going on when they designed this card? Seriously? There are so many restrictions
- The damage doesn't go face, so there's no worry about a cheap burn finisher. - It can't trade and activate because it can't attack - It doesn't taunt, so your opponent can ignore it and it's effect - It has the mana cost of a late-game minion - It has stats that are well below a minion of its mana cost. - It has to be combined with other cards to do anything - You have to actively kill it to do anything - The thing it's doing isn't really very impressive because it doesn't go face. - It is basically a zero tempo play with almost no upside. - It's legendary, so you can only play 1 of it.
Something has to be coming down the road that makes this card playable, right? Otherwise they're like, "hey, let's neuter this card that wasn't good to begin with."
I used to think Boogeymonster was one of the worst designed cards in the game. I think this takes the crown.

Actually it says random enemy so the damage can go face .
Best case scenario is you play it survive a turn and you can warpath 5 times to deal 15 to his face (this will NEVER happen).

Everything else you said it true .
You're right. Thank you for the correction. I guess there is a magical, unicorn world that exists where this does 33 face damage (If you also involve Rampage) over like 3 turns. Yay win condition????
Huhhh, very interesting. The card doesn't look super strong at first glance, but warrior has a ton of cards that can deal single points of damage, making this a threat if the opponent doesn't kill it quickly.
Best case scenario its a 7 mana 3/8: deal 24, which is insane. More likely, its a 7 mana 3/8: deal 9, which... honestly isn't that bad. It would be better if it prioritized targeting random enemy minions though, 9 damage to face really isn't that good for the kind of deck it will want to be in.

why hasn't this taunt? it would be a great card for quest warrior
Blizzard: "Here is your Rotface 2.0."
Garrosh: "I choose death!"

U realize it can't attack right
Sigh. I had high hopes warrior would get amazing stuff this expac. The legendaries aren’t helping raise my hopes that’s for sure.
Well play, compare this to priest legendary and cry.
I fucking love the design on this card, I'm so happy it got crafted, and I think it's amazing to play.

I want to see you here when somebody finds a way to abuse this.
