Combo! Blazecaller, kalimos, servant of kalimos, all have some pretty good battlecries you'd want to play this with. The only question is whether you will die before you can get the combo off, which I imagine will be pretty common.
I will be putting this in my wild Jadevolvental deck. Having Brann and two of these can create an instant threatening board. Priest can clear on 6 and you can instantly Dppleganster evolve. He Screams that board away and you drop Murmur + Jade Spirit + jade claws(only the first battlecry 2x). He clears that and you can Brann + Dopplegaster + Evolve for 5 six drops and a 4 drop.
and that still leaves you with another Murmuring Elemental to drop with Aya or Kalimos........
how could anyone think this is bad? yeah it's weaker than brann overall, but it's cheaper and you can run two. the added flexibility is major. i could definitley see some kind of jade/elemental deck that has strong board presence but also a back pocket OTK plan.
One drawback (in view of Brann) is that it only counts for the next deathrattle. With brann, sometimes you did Brann, Jade Claws and Jade Spirit . That was 1 card (Brann) for 2 extra trigger (Body and Jade growth). Now you can only have 1 extra trigger for 1 card. Same with Stonehill Defender . In the lategame, you usually got 2 trigger off of Brann. That's not possible any more.
But overall, I also think this card is promising.
Aye, you could milk two duplications of cheap battlecries with a late Brann, but you get two of these in your deck. Unless you needed two on one turn, this might actually be a upgrade in every respect but card advantage.
I want to see someone play this with Brann on the board. How many times would that Battlecry trigger, 4 times?
as has been stated, you will never get more than 2x battlecry. Even with Brann on board. The keyword is "twice" not "2x"
That, "twice", is the same word as Brann uses. If you played Brann, this, and then a battlecry it would almost certainly trigger the battlecry three times, just like Brann. Each one will add one extra cast to it. Just like when you have multiple Brann's (each triggering the battlecry "teice".
However it would probably only trigger three times, you won't get an extra from Brann plus this triggering twice

Play Brann, then play this....the Battlecry "Your next battlecry this turn triggers twice"....triggers twice .......how does this make any battlecry trigger 3 or 4x?

Because Brann is still on the board. Let's say you plan Brann, Murmuring Elemental, and then a novice engineer:
Three times is: You draw one card from the novice engineer. a second one from Brann, and a third from Murmuring Elemental. The exact same as if there were two Brann's on the board since they both use the same wording.
What some people have suggested is that it could be four: : You draw one card from the novice engineer. a second one from Brann, a third from Murmuring Elemental, and due to Brann the prior turn the Murmuring Elemental triggers a second time and you draw a fourth.

by that logic, two Branns would work....but they don't

That is not correct. „Twice“ is always two times. It’s like Aldor is setting a minion‘s attack to 1 a second time. There is no change even if he does it twice. Same with murmuring elemental. When brann is on the board, it does trigger twice. But that doesn’t change anything. For that, it needed to say “battlecries trigger 1more time” or something similar.
Edit: as to the example with the novice engineer, brann would make him draw a second card. Murmuring would also make him draw a second time, but the engineer already did trigger twice. So everything stays the same.

Look up Brann Bronzebeard. Read what the card says. Look up a video on YouTube of what happens with multiple Brann’s in play.
Note that both Brann and this card say that battlecries trigger “twice”

eExplain why this would be different?
Why should I read or explain? I know how the interaction works and I stated that it is the same as with brann. Battlecries trigger twice no matter how many branns (or elementals) you have.
But since you didn’t follow your own advice, here is a video for you (edit: 2:40 is the time you are looking for)

This enables card draw. You should be able to take out the mana tide totem now.
The most use will be jades and stonehill defender.
Love this card. Even as I continue to weep for hunter.
This is not a playable 2 drop on 2. Pass
I'll tell you Friday.
(Thursday I'll be busy waiting for the servers to come on-line)
Murmuring Elemental + Youthful Brewmaster = 2xMurmuring Elemental?
Ya Jade cards... but... Bonemare? 8 burst damage and taunt? Saronite Chain Gang? 3 2/3 tuants. There is such a lot of value mid to late game.
1 tick from Fire Plume Harbinger and you can combine this with Bonemare and Windfury and make any totem into 16 burst damage
