Elemental Shaman (got 5-7 buckets of Elemental Fury) plus the Robes of gaudiness = some insane boards with the games over quick (Vaelstraz got dicey, though).  Shame I didn't get it until my 2nd treasure because my run would have been a lot faster than 36 minutes if I had.

I mean, if you have 4+ bombs in the opponents deck (which seems reasonable to do by turn 7/8 based on some of the cards), play him on turn 8 (turn 7 with the coin) and then a whirlwind and you just did 24+ damage.

So I look forward to see all of the people saying this is a weak card complaining about how OP he is in a month or two =D

Thank you, random person doing the tavern brawl who used their Gormok to kill my Azure Drake and used their Kraken to do 4 damage to my face.  Because that's totally how you win a co-op brawl! >.>

Tried Shaman.  All I drew were spells that damage minions with overload costs, or minions that add copies of other minions to your deck/hand.  Didn't really do a lot when I was against a Rush warrior =\

Quest rogue didn't have 60% win ratio, yet it was nerfed as well. Because it was unfun to play against it. Shudderwock is also unfun to play against because of that 10minutes turns.

If the problem is just that it's unfun to play against, then fix the animations?

If it's not a strong deck then there's no reason to nerf the power level of the associated cards.  The reason to nerf cards that are essential to certain decks are either because they dominate the meta (ie: are included in every deck no matter what it is) or because the deck is so insanely broken that it dominates the meta.  But if the only problem is it's unfun when matched against it then that's a horrible reason to nerf it.  I think control decks are completely unfun to play against but I don't think they need to be nerfed, because I understand different people enjoy different playstyles.

I got Rotface and a handful of Epics.

Mostly a bunch of rares, though I did get a golden Bonemare I was able to immediately DE for 400 dust, so that's something I guess.

Life hack: choose the cloak of invisibility, and she can no more copy your minions.

Seeing as it's shown up once for me, and it was in a paladin deck that was centered around spells/DS, would have only made things worse for me =P

that wax making fucker that can just copy any minion ever so you have to both deal with his minions while at the same time you cant play amazing minions yourself or he just gets them for 3 mana.

I've done 4 runs, they've ended two of them.

Even in a spell-heavy mage deck I just didn't have enough AoEs to keep board control.  I think the only way past them is to just luck out with RNG, or get them early enough that you don't have insanely awesome minions they can copy.

I want to see someone play this with Brann on the board.  How many times would that Battlecry trigger, 4 times?

posted a message on New Rogue Weapon - Kingsbane
    Quote from MrQwerty64 >>

It's good but not game-winning because it's a 1-mana weapon and Blizzard obviously tested this already. With Deadly Poison, it's a 3/3 weapon for 1-mana which is only ok in the late-game. With Envenom Weapon, it can destroy 3 minions but Rogue's health is a problem. 1-attack means Leeching Poison is useless, unless you're willing to play a weapon Rogue that revolves around a 1-mana legendary weapon.

In conclusion, heavily overrated much like Grumble, Worldshaker.

Envenom Weapon + Blade Fury.  Hell if you can also throw Deadly Poison and Leeching Poison, then you just got a pretty mean board clear (kills anything that doesn't have DS plus gives you life for every damage done), that also returns to your deck to use again later?  I'm sure people will make it work.

To the mage who just lost to me after holding a 30-1 health advantage, I'm sorry for your loss.

But for my sake, that was a damn-near life saving few turns as a Taunt Warrior (armorsmith into blood razor into whirlwind into a bunch of taunts into sulfuras)

My first time playing this tavern and keep losing with both of them... Any advice?

Rafaam, the key is to mulligan for low-cost board control spells and/or the spell to upgrade your staff (you want it upgraded asap).  Key is to just maintain board control until you upgrade your staff/KT runs out of steam and you start to outpace him.

KT, pray Rafaam has horrible draw/RNG and/or concede and replay till you get Rafaam >.>

Still not balanced.  KT has an average card cost of 4-5 so you spend turns waiting for things to do, while Rafaam is loaded with low cost removal so by the time you actually land a creature he can probably remove it.  If you're winning as KT then it's almost assuredly because the Rafaam player has just has some horrible draw/RNG/luck.

I just had a game where every single one of my creatures was destroyed up until the 5th or 6th turn, by then he had such large board advantage I couldn't keep up, especially since he completed his staff.

They need to have KT start at 3-4 crystals or give him more board control/wipes.

Game 2: KT again, Rafaam started with some bad draws so I thought I had a chance.  Then he landed Lady Naz'jataar which reset my board, and then landed Antonidas.  But since I had no hard removal and he now kept getting fireballs I of course couldn't keep anything on the board, so game over.

Game 3: Got Rafaam, it didn't go well for the KT player at all (see image).  They really need to balance this thing.  Got my pack I'm done

Got my first legendary from the expansion, and first one in awhile...it was Prince Taldarim.  I don't DE legendaries often since I have bad luck getting them (and take forever to farm dust), but he's probably not going to last long.
