Omg if i see one more post comparing this to tentacles for arms........
This has so little in common in terms of value. Tentacles is 5 mana 2 attack, deathrattle ''return this to your hand'' Meaning you have to pay the 5 mana again.
This is 6 mana 4 attack, deathrattle give a minion in your hand 4/2 and deathrattle equip Val'anyr.
For 6 mana you get 8 attack over 2 swings and when the BUFFED minion dies it re-equips at no cost to you as long as no silence was played. This is leaps and bounds ahead of tentacles and the buff on the minion will be great on any card and insane on several cards ie dopplegangster or chain gang. Not to mention weapon removal (which may be rife during this exp) does very little to this card.
This card alone will make control pally much stronger and healadin may become viable depending on the next cards to be released.
No more tentacles please.
Exactly, this card should be compared to twilight hammer which is much more similar but doesn't loop. Control pally is in a bad spot atm, I am not sure how this will help him against raza and jade tbh. Maybe a full heal control deck can do the job, but unfortunately our revealed cards won't give us a push against priests. More defense yes, but what can defense do against the machine gun?
Thing is chillblade won't double it, it'll just heal for a bit more, nothing really crazy. It could be good with Spiritsinger Umbra as well, just wonder if she would proc her own deathrattle

Very little against priest sadly. I have had a few games with a rubbish healadin that i slapped together trying to use black guard that was so close to survival. He only had 3 cards left in hand with no deck but still managed the final push. I'm not sure it is possible to out heal the eventual burst that comes so i think we are out of luck on that front. Against Jades we may (he says very gingerly) have a better shot playing control with the potential burst of stats with the new legend. Paladin seems to be getting very high value cards in the weapon and legend but only time will tell if we can survive long enough for them to make the difference i guess.
Auto reequip sounds promising. 6mana for a weapon that doesn't kill 6 mana minions sounds weak, though.
I can imagine there indeed are those taunt+divine shield moments where you cant slice through them and feed the paladin buff ability.
At least deathrattle is going to trigger when oozed. But is that enough for a legendary weapon. Maybe in an aggro/charge-ish deck the card would make sense.
The biggest problem with handbuff was how slow it was. This is still slow, but a 4 attack weapon is much faster than a 2 mana 1/1, not to mention +4/+2 is so much better than +1/+1. This won't work in a handbuff Paladin because the deck will never work, but it's a real good standalone if finally a control Paladin rises again. With the new Djinn, spellstone and maybe a couple other cards, it just might work, and then - infinite value.
The thing about giving Paladin more targets that are bad when silenced, is nobody can run enough silences against Paladin - if you split only one instance of this between two different minions, add Sunsorrow and obviously Tirion, maybe Bolvar, and the only thing that can stop you is mass dispel, and even that only if you overextend and play all your silence targets at once.
It IS interesting how will this work with Tirion, and a little shame the Paladin death knight also equips a weapon, because supposedly after this weapon you need no other weapon.
People don't dislike Razakus because it's good. They dislike every deck you have no way to deal with. It's the same as quest mage, only quest mage usually takes longer to set up. Decks you can't play around and can just as well surrender on turn 5 because they dropped Raza are frustrating and make the game less fun.
Notice how people do not complain about tempo rogue which is a tier 1 deck but do complain about Raza priest?

Almost everyone on this webpage complain about Keleseth Rogue. Have you been sleeping under a rock the last two months?
Notice how people complained about Zoolock in BETA? Notice how people complained about Huntertaker during Naxx? Notice how people complained about Oil Rogue during GVG? Question/s : The resurrection effect of this weapon. One assumes that it would have to be stored / cast on the minion that gets the buff, so:
1 - if you silence the minion, one would have to assume ti prevents the weapon returning? 2. if there is no minion on the board when the weapon goes, it is safe to assume it's lost?

it´s for minions in your hand
Right you are - I missed that word. So, just question 1 then...?

I dont hate those decks. because you have tools to deal with them. I hate highlander priest so much that i secretly play it myself lol.
Good. But you are not most of Hearthpwn :) And most of Hearthpwn hated all these decks even though you are smart enough to accept the game for what it is. I salute you.
Very strange and very slow. I think people are vastly overrating this just because of the "infinite value" promise, when any number of things can break the chain.

Yeah in my mind it’s more like a Hunter Heropower times 2. ( If you face a opponent who plays fair (( fair in 2k17 LUL)) minions and yours trade into them and so on.Mostlikely we will face non minion combo decks or Big something)
For infinite value you need the right matchup and a lot of healing, wich is also kinda bad?
This is not remotely infinite value as your deck has a finite amount of creatures to buff. That's not to say that it's bad, it's just incredibly slow while also not reaching that truly infinite "Jade Idol" threshold.

I created a deck to run this weapon that I think has a lot of flavor and flair to it, enjoy:
Control paladin with Mind Breakers just to counter Priest might be pretty good.
FOR THE HORDE!

Insane card!
Just my 2 cents
