Since the release of KoFT, I've seen Benedictus played once.
This is a truly meme-worthy card, it might not end up being busted but I think people are definitely going to try and make it work (I know I will). We've barely scratched the surface of which cards we will see this expansion so there is no concrete way right now of judging what the meta will be like next expansion and how this card might have synergies or anti synergies. But if we look at it right now at face value I think it's still a little up in the air.
Cons:
weak to silences, transforms, counterspell, managing, maybe even thoughtsteal, as well as dirty rat at the very end.
Very slow to play even with cards like bloodbloom.
Might die the turn after you play your demon.
If this is your deck's main way of winning the game then you are shelled if it's at the bottom of your deck.
Those seals don't provide much board presence or leave much room mana wise to clear board or play minions.
Pros:
Achieve meme dream.
This card and the cards it generates alone give you 30/30 in demon stats to revive with Bloodreaver GD.
Even if destroying the opponent's deck doesn't destroy their combo and shut them down, it puts them in a situation where they have to kill you with what's left in their hand and on their board.
Warlock as a class tends to run their deck into fatigue quicker than the opponent, these cards can set your opponent into fatigue well before you hit fatigue.
Having a death rattle generate the first seal kinda sucks but it does open up the opportunity for the new recruit mechanic or for cards like the meme wagon and Barnes to nab it.

So this card really has its cons but I wouldn't sell it too short just yet and we still don't know what else the expansion will bring us. We also can't forget that this is only done by one card, I can easily imagine a world where someone subs one card in their control warlock for this card just to have something people won't expect.
What could change this from meme card to metadefining is a bloodbloom that instead of the next spell affects all your spells for the turn. And should be maximum 7 mana to combo with violet illusionist. That way would be 10 mana, 34/33 of stats on the board and opponent's deck destroyed next turn
I think this could actually work in warlock. You need blood bloom , violet illusionist and The first seal... yes you need to kill Rin but after that you need only 5 mana to complete all seals... It's not that hard for warlock to collect 3 cards from your deck and also you get 2/2 3/3 4/4 5/5 6/6 demon on board...

This card is stupid n dumb. A 10/10 that destroys your opponents deck is RIDICULOUS! Why do players need more cards that counter jade druid... they already have Geist now THIS. If they don't NERF this card I'm just quitting HS because Jade druid won't be playable wit this card in the game.

dude, they don't have to nerf this card, its not gonna see play beyond the first week or so!
also, this is NOT a counter towards jade. Assume you manage to put this out towards a jade druid. if he has just One Jade Idol in his hand, then he's guaranteed to draw and recycle almost as much as he wants. True, it certainly helps with Jade druid, but there are tons of cards that does that.

I can see a Control Warlock type deckwith this. Maybe Medivh, Rin and the rest of the deck is just survival, heals, taunt etc, death by milling. More of a meme card though, the 41 mana combo seems a little too hard to get off.
This is my favourite card that has been released so far. Very cool design. I actually think this card is crap for competitive play, but that's exactly how it should be. You'll always know when Azari is coming, so you can adjust your game plan accordingly.
Ok. This card is good stated by itself. But the seals are cinda bad. Let's think of the scenario when it's good.. I play against a super slow deck.. play the girl at 6. Then if I start playing 5 mana seals every turn summoning I'll loose, because my opponent is not a dummy.. he plays cards too.. he has a game plan.. so what for turn 10 to play 2 seals at a time. Turn 10 first and second.. Then turn 11 3d and 4th. Turn 12th 5th seal and let's say doomsayer or whatever and turn 13 the 10 10 giant that destroys my opponents deck. I think 80% of games doesn't get to such late turns.
Jade druid - by turn 13-14 they have 10-11 jades on board. They don't need a deck
Secret mage - by turn 13 they've already outdrawn their deck and killed you in 1 turn
Razakus Prisets kill you by turn 10-12 and also outdraw their deck..
So as for today this card is too slow for constructed. Of course the new meta might make this card more viable
In Arena the fact that you play a 3-6 tount is already not bad. In a situation where you and your opponent run out of steam- this is not a bad idea - tap - if you get a 3 mana or less minion play him and a seal. So it's ok
i think people don't realise that you don't need to play the seals whenever you can and nor do you need to build the deck around this card. this is just a great value card/secondary win condition that you just slam in a control deck, even if it's not good it's still not as bad as people think.
But you do need to play the seals right away. The longer you wait the less cards you will burn from your opponent. The less cards you burn the greater chance your opponent draws his win condition especially if they have card draw. The question is how many cards of your opponents deck do you have to burn to make this worth it. I don't think 5 is enough, maybe 8 or more.

Because if you silence the initial card before the deathrattle is triggered, you end up with a 6 mana 3/6 that does nothing. You'll never see any of the seals. If polymorphed/hexed/etc. it's even worse.
This card is so slow, next expansion will come out before you'll play the final token.

Playing Azari will be very satisfying, similar to playing Nether Portal or Barnabus the Stomper.
Plus, I'm the kind of guy that will play a card just to see the epic animations.
