This card exists to pass doomsayers and that is it. Whatever other cute thing you wanna do with it is probably bad, like okay you pass a ticking abomination you then have to spend more cards to actually kill it and a one sided wipe isn't worth destroying yourself in card advantage. That being said depending on how good the new gul'dan is this could easily see play in a control warlock deck as long as the rest of the pieces are there and this with defile is a step in the right direction the deck just really needs a good finisher and it's unclear if jaraxxas is enough (it probably isn't).
it's boom o'clock
unlicensed apothecary maybe
ancient watcher/humongous razorleaf because fuck their board
just saying there are possibilities.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
i could really imagine this card being used in a deck with two Doomsayer and two Emerald Hive Queen, cause both minions can be played on their own and can give you a lot of early game control. imagine a Hive Queen on turn one, on turn two you may have time to tap and on turn three, if your Hive Queen survived, you can give her to your opponent. Hive Queen has strong stats for a one-drop anyway and your opponent might have a hard time killing her off if you don't provide a trade. this way you may be able to stall the game longer and set up a later doomsayer for example. i think this card has potential.

The only good option is Doomsayer, the others minions need a 3° card and cost too much to work.
Ticking Abomination is fine because it can trade up and is decent on it's own and Handlock isn't know for flooding the board early on, instead it's known for flooding its hand. The early minion Warlock might have would be Mistress of Mixtures or some Ooze or other utility/tech card.
This is a better combo than Frost Nova + Doomsayer so I am pretty sure they'll be run as two offs. Sure Treachery standalone is nowhere near as good as Frost Nova, but as Warlock you draw a lot more and the effectiveness of the combo is too high to ignore. Unless Defile makes the need for this combo obsolete, I don't see why you wouldn't run two.
cool idea, doomsayer is not horrible with this, unlicensed apothecary against a token aggro deck? not sure if any deck will actually play this card, because it is not bad but it is slow and requires synergy. No warlock deck as yet runs the synergy for this. Meme decks will be made with this, but I think it will be around a year before this sees play if at all.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Nice to see that they finally made this card. So much meme deck potential here. While it likely won't be top tier, its a great addition to the game. Thumbs up.
What the fuck? This is immensely overcosted. This should have costed 2 mana at MAXIMUM. This is just a very, very bad Equality + Pyromancer combo with Doomsayer, except that the card itself is useless without the other combo piece and STILL costs more. What are they thinking? Apparently not much. As always.
i think that Treachery + Doomsayer is much weaker than Wild Pyromancer + Equality because you are not able to do anything else this turn and your opponent gets advantage, it might be good only while opponent is low on cards, using it with Ticking Abomination is also really bad because you also need to kill this minion, so the combo requires at least 3 cards, also leaves you without mana and is very incosistant.
This card is one of this cards that will be broken as some combo or it won't see play at all
Omg everyone who says this is good with doomsayer or tickling abom, you need to understand the fact that this card on its own is really really bad, same goes for tickling abom. If you dont draw the combo whats the use of those cards? Doom+frost nova are good, because frost nova by itself is a good card that can get usage, even without doomsayer. This is a freaking dead card if you dont combo it with something. And handlock has strong midrange game starting on turn 4, thats where the comeback starts and tickling abomination ruins that midrange game.

In wild:
Turn 9: Fel Reaver + Treachery
Turn 10: summoning portal + brann + gnomerferatux2 + brewmasterx2 + gnomeferatu x2 (need thaurissian tick on summoning portal or coin)
= 32 cards burned, gg

Is this card and comments about "great combo / nice potential" a joke?

I just wish it wasn't 3 mana... Seems a bit overpriced for the effect!

Surprised this isn't a Rogue card.
