You wouldn't run this in anything but the quest pally they are trying to push.
My only hope is that they add a 3 mana buff card that is +2/+2 summon 2 SHR
If they do not do this, then the quest will just fail, the new dino on turn 4 will never be useful, and pally will be using neutral minions with their buff package.
Because this is a compact/multicard whatever you want to call it, that increases its worth by a bit.
So the token should be worth about 3 to 4 mana. I think 3/4 worth of stats and taunt as a token would make it playable.
Power Word: Tentacles is 5 mana and doesn't have the taunt. Blessing of Kings is 4 mana for 8 stats without taunt. Not sure where you're getting 3 mana from... Even Velen's Chosen had only 2/4 and spell damage, unless you're saying +1 spell damage = 2 health and taunt (its not if you compare Kobold Geomancer and Squirming Tentacle.
Not saying this is a good card, there's a reason nobody plays Power Word: Tentacles, and this is too slow to be good for the quest, but stat-wise, its pretty good, especially if you get 2/6 taunt from it (essentially turns a SHR into a better Sludge Belcher for 1 more mana.
Now that we've seen the token (2/6 Taunt), this really does seem like a paladin exclusive Sludge Belcher. More is required, you need a minion in play and it costs one more many, but you get the same stats (different distribution) as Belcher's initial body and a much stronger second body. Probably too slow, but interesting.
Kinda brings backSludge Belcher's memories. Even on a 1/1 dude it is 3/7 taunt with a 2/6 taunt coming right up. I like it. Ofc Devolve is a hard counter but still a nice card.
Let's be honest, if devolve isn't nerfd to a 4 Mana card by mid year then blizzard is blind. Devolve should never had existed in the first place. It is the epitome of unfinished and it is 100% uninteractive.
Devolve is, in fact, the epitome of interactive in that it interacts with (and requires the presence of) your opponent's board.
if compare to a card that have a similar affect like Cairne Bloodhoof. Than this card is a little worse. but it have taunt. So in theory if your opponent do not have silence or polymorph effect then they will need at least 13 damage (a minion need at least 1 health to be alive so 6+1) on board or in hand to remove this completely. Does make this card seem pretty good by looking at it. And if they do use it then that make Tirion Fordring and Ragnaros, Lightlord safer to play later on.
and at worse is a 8 mana 3/7 taunt. Deathrattle summon a 2/6 taunt.

There is 0 play around to it. The only thing that justifys a card like flame strike or twisting nether being considered a healthy non interactive card is that they are 7mana + meaning you can't tempo out of it. a card like this is basically an auto answer and you can still use 8 mana after you play. We also have 0 control over what we get. This being 2 mana will prove unhealthy as the year goes on.There is no reason to not run 2 copies of this and 2 copies of hex in heavier shaman decks.

?????????????????????
Where did you get that estimate from?? It's certainly worth more than 3 mana! Just look at Power Word: Tentacles and Blessing of Kings, taunt is better on a higher health minion so it's better than Blessing of Kings + taunt......
Just the buff effect itself is worth probably 5 mana....so 1 mana for the token and having 3 effects combined on one card.....buff, taunt and token....if it's a 2/6 token it's INSANE value and maybe the most OP Paladin card for arena after Tirion Fordring and Ragnaros, Lightlord.
I am guessing the token is max a 2/2

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?

the token is a 2/6 with taunt, but you'd never play this card in Hand buff pally, and if you aren't playing hand buff pally you're playing quest pally so this will only be playable in quest pally basically.
I think the art for Un'Goro has been amazing so far, but with that being said... this card looks goofy as hell. Looks like something you'd expect to see on the fintstones.
I think this is playable. The paladin quest is still in my opinion trash. Some minion target buffs that I think would make the paladin quest good are as follows. 1 mana give a friendly minon deathrattle deal 1 damage to all minions. 2 mana give a minon +3 attack + 4 health taunt and can't attack. 3 mana silience a friendly minion draw a card (jk). 3 mana transform a minion into a 1/1 squirrel or a 5/5 devilsaur. 0 mana destroy a friendly minon restore paladins health equal to destroyed minions health.
Terrible card. Does the paladin community not remember what it's like to play buffs? Play kings in any deck right now and see how well it does.
2/6 for 6 is very understatted and poorly distributed. Control priest threatens to steal this on either the buffed minion or the deathrattle. Slap this on a charge minion and it kills a trash minion, when what it needs to do is win the game. Put this on a recruit and it's 3/7 taunt for 8... gratz.
Trash card, that tempts new players into thinking it's good enough to play cuz of the deathrattle.

By this logic every spell in the game is non-interactive (Counterspell and Spellbender probably don't exist in this universe either) as you can't stop it; every weapon in the game is non-interactive as you can't stop the first swing of the weapon and so is any minion with charge. Quests are non-interactive as well since you can't stop them. So the only things left in the game are minions without charge and secrets although you will probably claim those are non-interactive as well.
essentially a 4/12 taunt for 6 if you got a guy on board on 6.
good piece, but doesnt make buff paladin viable yet.
It is effectively a Sludge Belcher that is much more vulnerable to silence.

Cool, but I was hoping for cheaper buffs for the quest.

Okay...maybe the Paladin quest is actually doable. If we get more early game buff cards this could work.

So basically 6 mana "Al'Akir" for paladin: 2/6 charge, taunt, deathrattle - summon 2/6 taunt?
Mimsy Were The Borogoves
cabal shadow priest just make this card feels bad man.

Welp, maybe next quarter Paladin!
