But seriously guys... You all overestimate how good shaman is going to be once Ungoro comes out. EVERY GOOD CARD IN SHAMAN IS ROTATING. I play a lot of shaman myself, to the point where I've become golden, so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. The basic cards in every shaman deck: Tunnel Trogg and Totem Golem, are rotating out. This means that shaman has ZERO GOOD EARLY GAME. As if the death of any of shaman's potential for an aggressive or midrange deck wasn't enough, shaman can't play control either due to the rotation of Elemental Destruction, shaman's one good late-game board clear. While you may argue that shaman still has the overpowered mess of a mechanic that is Jade Golems, druid is still has better Jade cards than shaman and will easily be the preferred class. And as if all this wasn't enough, shaman is focusing on TWO mechanics in Ungoro: murlocs and elementals, and so the support for both archetypes will be extremely limited if not unplayable.
So yeah, the legendary is a good healer/board clearer. But what does it matter when ANY other deck can easily crush shaman post-rotation?
i mean this card is really easy to play around so it doesn't really matter. theres no rng involved with this card and it only activates if you played an elemental the previous turn.
so, what's the curve out play up to him if we want to make an "elemental chain?"
we got firefly turn one, which also gives us the cover card token if we missed a turn. telegraphing when played, but allows for the rest of the turn's mana to do something.
not sure on turn 2.
tar elemental on 3 if this is a control deck. still haven't hit any "last turn" requirement cards though.
Here's an interesting thought. Would the Invocation of Air work with Hallazeal?
Well given that he's a minio--

Hey that's a good point! Why doesn't this post have more upvotes?
If Blizzard changes Hallazeal to an elemental, I think we'd have one more reason to play him in this deck. Which would be awesome since that could potentially push the elemental tribe into more of a control-style archetype.
Not sure why people are losing their shit over this card. It's a conditional battlecry. I'll reserve judgement until the rest of the elemental tribe cards are released. Shaman is losing all their powerful early game cards and card draw (azure drake). Jade shaman will likely just be better.
Seems like an understatted minion with a prerequisite whose reward is a choice between 4 mediocre effects.
Additionally it seems like it'd be pretty easy to play around if you assume that your opponent (who is playing this) is playing on curve.
Seems like a card that (like many Un'Goro cards so far) will be good in arena if drafted but likely not great in constructed -- I don't really see "Elemental" decks being played in standard format, but of course I'm no soothsayer.
Its a Earth Elemental involved in flames with a vortex tail of water and it has thunder powers in his hands... its very badass. Also is versatile and his efects are good but not broken... preeeety good card.
This is a really cool card and I love its versatility. Unfortunately I feel with some players in this community there will be no middle ground with new cards in general because it feels like player morale is so low that sceptism of any new cards is really high. If the devs print an interesting card, its too good, if they print a solid balanced card, its a boring card. If they print a defensive card, its too slow.
However I think this is a really cool card and if Elemental shaman becomes a thing than this card will definitely at least be considered to be run in a deck like that.
Voted bad at first because when the card text is vague it automatically implies it's rng based and 8 mana deal 6 damage to nemy hero when you actually need an Ao or a Heal is just not good at all, then someone confirmed you can choose! so i changed my vote to very good, auto include in elemental control shamman.
Pyros as Legend Elemental is much better. Kappa

he might die, that's why he has an IMMEDIATE AND HUGE BATTLECRY. this is high mana cards done right

4 is open?
5 is open?
6 is easily fire elemental,
7 can be stone sen,
8 is kalimos.
could even go 9 and say ozark.
I love it! It's exactly what a big legendary should be!

My dream of an elemental deck, has come true.
Servant of Kalimos Stone Sentinel Blazecaller Kalimos, Primal Lord Glacial Shard
OP, its like a kazakus only for shaman without the need of a highlander deck and you dont need to make a spell and cast it
It's good. Don't get why people saying broken...its on par with rag or tirion
as much as i love the card and how its designed... shaman? really? blizzard pls

If it is not random this card can make place not only in elemental decks
Read the text at the top, man...
There was once one who held the power over all four elements: Kalimos. But when the meta needed him least, he was given to Shaman.
