And you know what? everyone mentioning the meta: THATS CHANGING WHEN THE SET RELEASES!!!!! Rotation will slow shit WAY down...
Pirate Warrior will lose what? Finley?
No, this game never free from aggro shit, devs always print insane fast good cards for aggro and crap terrible bad shit for control.
I hope this change this time but Blizzard don't give me any reason to think otherwise.
Look this literally isn't true. We get tonnes of good control cards every single expansion, the problem is heavy control is literally countered by aggro - that is essentially the point of an aggro deck. We haven't seen any aggressive cards yet really in Un'goro and the devs have even said they see the problem with these aggressive 1/3's with buff that they keep printing so I doubt we'll see any either.
Either way every meta has some control decks doing well, hell, Warrior dominated for a long time with a late game control deck. Don't be so bloody salty just because we've had a bit of Pirate.

A bit? A BIT??? Like 95% of the games before small-time nerf and 50% after?
Don't believe me? Look the list of all nerfed cards in this game, how much are midrange or control cards and how much are aggro cards? Blizzard release 10 broken cards for aggro for any good card for other kind of the deck.
If we receive 1 cent any time Patches hits in the first turn "We're gonna be rich".
Im simply tired of Shaman decks in general, its been in the top 2 spots on TempoStorm consistantly since about old gods in either midrange, aggro, or now jade form. Ill be glad to see their early game go
IMO, the quest cards actually take the value of this card down. Say you get the warlock quest. Are you going to be able to discard 6 cards? Not likely. Priest quest....are you going to be able to play 7 deathrattles?? Not likely. Particularly since you'll be playing the pack on turn 6 or later. The legendary quests will be dead cards the vast majority of the time and actually take the value of this card down quite a bit, IMO, since the legendary card you get will be a useless quest card fairly often.

You can't get quests from random effects such as Elises pack.

Seems to me like they really want those filler cards to be played one way or another. Not a terrible bad card, just Malquezar level of card.
This is so crazy wrong. Malch is terrible, this is so so so much better.
You use the pack spell and get 5 random un'goro cards, sure some times will be good cards but most of times you'll get cards that nobody put in decks, (fillers), do you think this will be wrong? ok, nevermind then.

Yes, but sometimes even filler-cards can be good. Often are filler-cards vanilla minions, minions that are good in arena but not constructed or a bit undervalued. Putting them in your deck is bad, but gaining them as a random source can be quite good.
I look at a card like this and I does have one thought:
Will the Un'goro pack give out cards as it were like opening a card pack but in-game? Because if it does than at least you know you will be getting at least 4 commons and a rare card to play with, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what cards you could get.
Though I honestly would be annoyed if I was playing this card a lot and got a legendary card every time I played it than when it came to actually open my card packs for my collection, I just get 4 bad common and a rare.

My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
i can't confirm but i think they said its going to be a pack with lots more chances of a legendary and at least an epic for sure.
Actually, seeing that video of the cardplay changed my mind about this shit, you can evem get legendarys from other classes, this shit can be petty strong.
I see this card being played by most tempo decks like Hunter, Aggroish Rogue and Secret Mage (Un'goro tempo mage): when they're running out of steam, they might get a huge 5-cards boost to win the game.
So please, stop debating about whether this card is good or not in control and whether control will exist with jade duids and realise this is becoming a 5-drop staple in most decks (only craziest aggro decks and handlock and jade druid won't be playing it I bet)
Well, at least I found another cool 5-drop to replace my azure drake.
Another? Would that imply that you found azure drake cool in any way? Personally i though that card was really overratted and not very fun at all, compared to this card azure drake is as far away from cool you can get.
Well, I for one don't play cards because they're cool, I play them because they're powerful. And azure drake is pretty OP compared to other 5 drops.
The 5-drop slot has always been very weakly crowded, even when taking class cards into consideration. A 5-mana 4/4 draw a card with the beneficial effect of having spell damage was definitely one of the best things available (after Sludge Belcher left Standard).
Now the best 5-drop neutral candidates are Elise the Trailblazer and Burgly Bully, and the latter is far more situational than the former.
Thank you for reminding on why I've been avoiding this community for the most part.
Not my fault you can't handle differing opinions. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I respect your opinion, though I am a bit curious to why you think this card is flaming garbage. I was under the impression that it was pretty good.
I understand why people think of it as a good card. But, you have to draw the pack, and if you don't, then it's just a 5 5/5.
Now I know that alone is not a good enough to consider a bad card, but I don't think the reward is that good. Sure, 5 cards with no draw from the deck is very good, but what I think most people are forgetting just how many sub-par and filler cards there are in an expansion.
Again, I see why people think it's great, but I see it as too rng to be anywhere near consistent. This really just strikes me as a fun card.

This seems pretty solid, I'd peg it for Reno Mage
S39 Legend - Quest Rogue, S38 Legend - Murloc Paladin, S37 Legend - Miracle Rogue, S36 Top 200 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S35 - Finished Rank 51 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S34 Legend - Aggro Shaman
