as long as you go first this is very good (not many of the 0-1 mana damaging spells that deal 1-2 dmg are run) so it will be quite easy to follow it up by a 2-drop (or hp as shaman or pally)
If you go second this is underwhelming as it can be quite easily hp'd by mages druids and rogues, countered by a played 1 drop or just left as a 1/1 that can't do so much except in the case that you can kill of their T1 minion if they went face (things like clockwork gnome that you don't wanna trade into a 1/1) and hopefully get that +1/+1. I'll end up crafting 2 most likely to see how it all plays out in game
Pretty good if you're going first, provided you follow it up with a 2/3. Like a Totem Golem + 1 damage. If you play a 3/2 you still just die to their 3/2, so not so good. Also the additional 1 damage will hardly ever be relevant, unless they do something stupid like playing Clockwork Gnome into it.
Actually, this card supports 2 mana 1/4's like Arub'ar Weblord really well. If they play a 2/3 you don't waste the damage and are left with a 2/3, or at worst a 2/2 if they played a 3/2... actually, a 3/1 is probably better than a 2/3 anyway.
