I would love for some druid reworks, I feel like too much of current druid power is coming from recently released cards and classic set is very much under-utilised. Wild Growth, Keeper of the Grove, Nourish, Force of Nature could all be reverted and then current cards given slight nerfs (if any) to keep druid at a similar power level. Force of Nature currently is barely even a card, even in treant druid, compared to the options that DH and Hunter have that fill the same role. At least rush (as opposed to the old charge) would be a welcome change.

While I'm sure all of the lackey related cards were designed with their power level in mind, they do seem to do a lot more than expected for their mana. If anyone remembers the power level of spare part cards, that is the sort of power level I would expect from lackeys, but they have a massive extension above and beyond spare part power levels. Given how easy it is to obtain lackeys they do a whole lot and have high mana efficiency. Although a lot of this can be put down to power creep anyway... which is a whole 'nuther bundle of eggs to unpack

I completely forgot about player-created classes! This has sort of reminded me how much fun it is to make classes and come up with cards/themes. That being said if I have some free time I might make up a class lol.

I just managed to kill a res priest while playing spell druid. They had on curve holy nova into next turn holy nova for my 2 'big' early boards. They used mass resurrection twice in the game, first hitting 2 khartut defenders and second time hitting 3. On the second mass resurrection I managed to kill all 3 khartut defenders and then swing face for exactly 30 damage :)

I recently hit plat 5 (highest rank i've hit over either ranked system) and was v happy too! Trying to push diamond and got up to plat 2 before hitting a stumbling block but still going at it. Congrats!

If you aren't set on a deck then don't waste your dust. Every time I come back to hearthstone I end up amassing a bunch of dust be DE'ing old cards, building a new deck from the current meta and then play for a month or whatever. When I come back the deck is no longer around and I end up DE'ing it for my next deck. If you are set on hitting legend every season (or even just attempting) then I would just pick a decent looking deck that seems fun and doesn't require a massive dust investment. I'd also prioritise decks with cards that won't be rotating out as fast.

 Keep in mind that Embiggen Druid is a fair bit weaker right now compared to start of season when it was quite strong. It now has weaker lategame than a lot of other decks.

If you still want to make the deck, I believe those cards are very key elements to the decks success. You could try Ancient of War for the Winged Guardians, and then either a low mana cost taunt like Overconfident Orc or Injured Tol'vir or something higher mana cost like Evasive Drakonid or Ironbark Protector

For everyone who is confused as to why I made this thread - it was like 75% to figure out what druid decks most people enjoyed, and 25% to figure out which decks won't be a waste of dust that won't last any time in the meta and/or aren't fun. I'm not a metaslave looking for best winrate only, but naturally I enjoy winning games and natural progression of climbing. Lots of people recommending spell druid, I've currently tried a few lists and had success with the (regular) list inc. Vargoth and Stalladris, if you have any cool takes please reply and link any relevant decks <3

Thoughts on running Keeper Stalladris in this deck? Good early body that draws pressure, gives you extra cards in hand if you miss Fungal Fortunes and still want to glowfly on curve. Also helps loads if you miss certain draws to OTK with your glowfly swarm and need more cards through Wrath or Rising Winds or want the extra +1/+1 from Power of the Wild.

I know minions are always a risk in this deck but I think Keeper is definitely worth it. I'm currently running a different spell druid list with Vargoth + Stalladris and no Exotic Mountseller or Kael'Thas, but I'll try this out in the next few days to see if I can break into Diamond before next season.

I was wondering where highlander ramp druid had come from - given that I'd never seen any decks of that type anywhere. I just started doing a bit of climbing with Spell Druid and it does seem pretty powerful. Why exactly is Embiggen Druid terrible though? I had a lot of success earlier in the season with it (but it has been a lot weaker recently and I'm not sure why - think it is just too reliant on certain draws to utilise its strengths).

Played some more of this deck, and went on a winstreak from Plat8 into Plat5. Might be able to hit diamond with some luck before next season (as a casual that doesn't play loads)

Oh that sounds pretty interesting! I'm guessing the highlander is for Zephrys the Great and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza?

Hiya everyone!

I was wondering what you guys enjoy playing the most in the druid class. Currently there are loads of archetypes that are viable in standard (According to HSreplay) and I have enough cards to play most of them but I'm struggling to pick a single type to try and climb with (mainly for the start of next ranked season). I've played Embiggen druid, Spell druid, Quest druid, Big druid so far this season and had a lot of fun and success with all of them. There is also Combo druid but I'm missing a Malygos and no dust to work that out either.

Also which decks do you think are the most robust and will stick around in standard for longer? I'll probably work towards finishing off last few cards in whatever archetype I start to 'main'.

Also this is a great opportunity for yall to bump you decklists! I'm happy to try anything I've got in my collection.
