okay, therotically, its a turn 4 5/5 taunter.... which isnt bad.... but then you have to open with a good hand where it allows you to go turn 2 hero power, turn 3 tuskkar totemic....
you literally can't play totem golem on this.
You can with coin, t2 totem golem t3 coin + tustkar, t4 Thing from Below.
You can drop 2 Dread Corsairs on turn 3 for free, but it isn't in every deck with weapons. This card requires a series of (probably) sub-optimal plays to set up for . If you're using HP in your first few turns you're probably behind. If you get "the dream" and drop it on turn 4, it's no harder to remove than Tazdingo anyway. I haven't read 12 pages of comments, but am I the only one not feeling the love for this card? If they aren't printing a good 1 or 2 cost totem(without overload) I can't see this card being overly remarkable. Fire Elemental will almost always be a better option than this.
If you have either Tuskarr totemic or totem golem, you can play this guy on turn 4 if you use your hero power for a turn. Obviously that does come with some tempo loss, but it isn't so bad with this being a 4 mana 5/5 taunt. If you happen to have two totem golems, two tuskarr, or one totem golem + 1 tuskarr, you can play this card on turn 4 with the help of the coin, which is very, very good. If none of these work, you can play this for free basically in the late game, which could ultimately be what this card is best for.
Also interesting to note that Master of Evolution will transform this guy into a 7 drop.
This card is pretty good even if you play it on turn 5. We don't have Sludge Belcher or Loatheb in standard anymore, so this could be an okay 5-mana replacement, but in most cases it'll be even cheaper than that by the time you want to play it.
If you played 2 totems, it's a good deal already. In long matches, this will eventually go down to zero (both copies). It has no overload but helps you immensely on turns that you are overloaded.
Will it help bring shaman back to the front? We'll have to see.
Well, as a druid with Raven Idol or a Mage with Unstable Portal (just because it's in wild doesn't mean it won't happen) I would rather get LoA than this because it has better stats and I won't have totems.
(btw as of April first Unstable Portal art is HILARIOUS!)

I don't think this card's best use is dropping it early on turn 4. Rather if you live long enough, you'll eventually be able to drop it for 0 alongside something else for a good tempo swing. Remember it has taunt, so it protects your other stuff (like flametongue totem).
You can play this after elemental destruction by the way for a likely aoe clear + minion follow up.

Doesn't even have to be played in full on totem shaman... Just play a few totem golems and tuskar totemics and this will be preeeetttyy good
Damn you snowboarders!

Rip Lord of the Arena
something that shaman desperatly needs. Being able to play this and fire ele on turn 6 is insane
Lets have some fun, shall we?
the arena player in me is really liking these two new shaman cards.
Hello Mid-Range Shammy!!
I am liking the direction the cards for Shaman are taking, I am hoping for some new Totems!!
Also this should work incredebly well in a control shaman with elemental destruction. Since you often can just put this for free in control matchups.
