It seems like it would have been okay if we didn't already have a lot of better 5-drops. The only deck I can see this fellow in is miracle rogue as a one-of, but even then it's pretty tight.
The new meta may introduce cooler decks where this guy might fit in a little better. We'll have to wait and see.
It's a bit of stretch here, but could Zoobot and The Curator be hinting towards possible future multi-tribed minions? How cool would Dragon-Murlocs be?
EDIT: This was meant as a reply to Maukiepaukie, three posts above.
Actually the way I see it, Moroes having 1 health is the ONLY reason he might see some play. If he had 2 or 3 health he can't be given Divine Shield by Steward of Darkness. Stealth + Divine Shield makes him playable.
I played a few games with Elven Archer to give me more ways to activate the tentacles or give myself an extra Patron. It works but it's too cute to be good most of the time.
Other than that, I have Doomsayers to help me clear the board to get ready for patron multiplication on my next turn.
So basically all you have to do is leave your opponent alone all game, get five Malygos on the board, then strike for 30 damage! ... Oh wait, warriors and druids have armour, warlocks can tap, mages can ping themselves in the face and hunters can ping themselves in the face with Steamwheedle Sniper. 0/10 card. Blizzard hates rogues.
For real though, this card is pretty nuts. It may also be worth noting that you can discover this card with Jeweled Scarab.
I think we can finally start thinking about building some mid-range/control deathrattle rogue decks, the way Unearthed Raptor was always meant to be played.

A decent overload deck is slowly becoming reality. We'll need a bit more though.

Seems like a good defense vs aggro decks. It might even be a quicker Ancestral Spirit play on turn 5, as long as your opponent is not a priest.
EDIT: I did not mean for this to be a reply to your comment, but it's not entirely unrelated so whatever.

Nah, I don't think he fits very well in tempo mage. Rhonin would be a lot better for that I think.

Bolster warrior with this card and Cyclopian Horror could be really fun. I'm looking forward to testing out Bolster decks again!

Competitive-wise, this card is probably not good enough to consider using. It would be insane if the cards were added to the bottom of your deck.
Fun-wise (the only -wise that matters), this card is dope.

Very fun deck.
Sadly I don't have Archmage Antonidas so I replaced him with Ragnaros the Firelord. I feel like they're similar anyway.

Same here. I have a similar deck running 2x Mortal Coil, 2x Tentacle of N'Zoth, 2x Dread Infernal, and 2x Spreading Madness. It worked okay in casual, but in ranked you get swarmed by competitively strong decks.

This deck is surprisingly decent against face shaman.

Yep, if I had one prediction for which neutral card sees a ton of play, it would be this beautiful creature.

It may actually not be horrible to use even outside of C'thun decks. But I can't tell for sure yet.
