Haven't played HS for about 2 years, after losing my original account to hackers. I never made legend back then, and usually stopped climbing at Rank 5. Came back exclusively for battlegrounds lately, but decided to try my hand in ranked. Took me about 5-6 days to climb from bronze 10 to legend over 152 matches total (I had no stars - spent them in standard).
Tilt was real on D1, when several times in a row final boss was some bullshit deck like DarkGlare Lock or Big Priest. Luckily, one of those Big Priests had abysmal draws, while I had godly luck that match.
What was weird to me, is that I ran into exactly one single mirror match. This deck is stronk - overall, I had 75% WR, closer to 85% before D5. Now it's time for a Dragon/Control/Big Paladin clown fiesta experiments!
playing tier 1 decks and getting legend is not impressive
When people make comments like this it makes me think you're the type of person who sends friend requests just to tell them that you wish their mother dies of cancer.

Wasn't going for impressing anyone. It's a game - people play it to have fun in whatever way it's fun for them. If you think, that vast majority of people in high ranks do not play tier 1 decks - yeah, no. But you do you, buddyboo.

Hey dude, congrats. I'm proud of you. I personally never made legend, so I'm always happy to hear when others make it for the first time. It doesn't matter if the deck was Tier 1 or not. What matters is you had fun. Good job, man.

Says the handbuff paladin. Look, if you're gonna share your life defining moment we don't care about, playing a top tier netdeck, you don't get to criticize others who are doing the same netdeck shite. What a waste of electricity.

if it eases your mind I can tell you that I never add anyone in this game anymore since there is nothing to talk about because it has become a damn bear skillless rng fiesta...
I have achieved legend with handbuff paladin too last month but with a different version I smacked together, although to D5 I got with different homebrew decks.
Well to all the other guys, it's impossible to push with any other deck than Tier 1 in these Priest, Mage and Paladin trio banging the same Tier 1 decks every single game, from opponent to opponent. Maybe you could but Im not gonna drown litres of my time just to do it with homebrew deck that is strong but not broken as these one.

This was a sleeper deck that had a low playrate despite being tier 1. I don't know if it's still true after the nerfs, although the new First Day of School might even be better for this deck.

some people are entertained by simpler things than others that is correct, you do you lol

No, it isnt - and why do people post such things? Its like "Hey - I beat up a one armed toddler". Excellent. Legend is 100% about abusing the broken deck. Thats it. Especially nowawdays. Im more impressed by a true home brew or tier 4 deck player even getting D5 than some clown getting legend with some busted Mage or Paladin deck. Please.

The deck is strong AF (although I haven't played it since the Crabrider nerf), carried me to my first 11x star multiplier last month

To hit legend net decking it’s expected unfortunately it’s shocking to see people still netdeck at lower rank as well
Congratulations. Ignore the haters.

This was a pre-nerf Tier-S deck and it's still easy to implement now =)
And this is a great choice to prove once again that the legendary rank is worthless for a long time.. ^_^
Even as such, it is only now starting to see a surge in play.
I guess it yet another deck abusing Conviction, but handbuffing chargers is still a somewhat new concept in the game.
Idk if legend is useless, going triple is still pretty hard!
