There will be no Buffs because they dont care about Wild. :(
My point is actually the opposite: Buffs could be a reason to care about Wild, because buffed cards could be appealing for players to craft = more revenues for team5.
Surely Buffing takes some smart planning, they can't just buff at random, but starting from unused cards (as in my example above) is already a pretty safe starting point to avoid breaking the meta.
> Basically they could generate revenues from cards that are atm worthless for them.
Their philosophy so far has been that "Wild is Wild!" by which they mean that they do not intend to intervene in the Wild meta directly unless things get really out of hand, as they did with Naga Sea Witch.
In other words, Team 5 has enough on its plate keeping Standard in line. They don't have the time or the resources to worry about keeping Wild fresh. It's not their focus because it's not where the majority of their players play. It is also not a great game mode for them financially because there is less incentive for Wild players to buy new cards. If Blizz did buff a few old cards, people would just craft those cards; they wouldn't start buying Wild-only packs.

Wild has too many moving parts to just make a short list of under performing cards better.
A re-balancing wherein you look at cards that under perform and their over performing counterparts is really needed. And Team 5 generally does not have the interest or even knowledge enough of the format to do this.
Buffs already create a problem of encouraging hoarding of cards. With standard its not that bad because it is generally a bad idea to dust anything non 3rd copy before standard cycle ends but for wild its awful. You are basically creating a motivation to never dust anything because it can be buffed later.

Exactly. Less dust in the system means more money to packs.
Not proportionately, but still.
It would actually be against my individual interest, but if that meant some wee bit of serious attention to Wild, i'd take it...
So team5 unlocked Buffs as an occasional policy.
I was thinking, what if they buffed Wild cards too?
Such a policy could be used to revamp Wild as a mode, AND try to generate more revenues from old design efforts!
Personally i'd love to have Lyra the Sunshard at (4) to enhance Miracle Priest. I'd immediately spend 1600 dust on it, if they did that.
What do you think? Is this a policy all Wild players should wish? Is there some Wild cards you'd like to see buffed?

All buffs are, by definition, buffs to Wild.
Their philosophy so far has been that "Wild is Wild!" by which they mean that they do not intend to intervene in the Wild meta directly unless things get really out of hand, as they did with Naga Sea Witch.

Last time they buffed a wild exclusive card. It didn't go well.

Lyra for 4? You are crazy, lyra is strong even without this buff, with 2 3 elementals its pretty good combo
There is currently no Lyra or Miracle Priest in the Wild meta.
The Combo comes at turn 7 now. Turn 6 with the buff.
In Wild the game is already sealed by then, and Priest's Miracles (generating Random spells) can hardly fix that at that point.
Compare with Fandral Staghelm (still heavily unused in Wild)
This is because cards need to be nerfed. The reason you don't see miracle priest is why would you ever play any priest that isn't big priest.
Sadly true...
I would love to see Yogg un-nerfed
Buffs in WILD? Are you high??
