Though some seem to be down voting this I do agree with the sentiment even if I don't agree with the sassy attitude behind it and the statement about priest. I find it very unsettling that they didn't reveal the full mini-set of cards considering they had a pre-purchase. There is no world in which Blizzard should be asking you to spend money on a product without giving you access to knowledge on what that product was. In expansions it was fine because they were just offering it early but you could wait till a few days before release to see if you wanted it before you acted, this time around they are asking for you to purchase it before release and then not revealing the cards.
Am I nuts or does the green and gold card back look WAY better than the purple and grey? They could've make it a bit less of a bland colour palate on that one I feel like.
Once you buy and complete wings of the adventure you will be given them per part you finish. They want the cards to come out gradually so they can impact the meta bit by bit over the course of the weeks, so they make it so you need to beat the adventure stuff to get it. In other words the wings that are not out yet will not have the cards available till they are.
They did fix prep, and shadow step is a fair card for a tempo-driven class because it reduces board presence. Your point that rogue always has a place in the meta is valid, however, but that’s because of a decent classic and basic set in backstab, Edwin, etc. The power of the class lies in swingy tempo plays and staying on the board so it’ll always be there to beat certain Aggro or midrange decks. It’s not unbeatable
I would agree with you that the class relys in swingy tempo plays and staying on the board if that last expansion didn't exist because Rogue have NOTHING to do about tempo anymore, nothing. It's all about insanely ******** card generation, highrolls every turn with lackey mechanic, HUGE , exaggerated amount of cheating mana.
We all know Edwin was never a real problem before even with the rise of Spirit of the shark which was popular for some time, but now this is just ridiculous man, i dont want him to get HoF because i'm main rogue and almost never played any other class in the game so i obvsly love the card but i dont think this is going to happen because the dev team seems to have no clue what they are doing. I see people saying HoF Leeroy all the time, dude Leeroy sucks put that in your mind there is a lot of broken stuff going on and it's not because of Leeroy it's because of powercreep every stupid expansion.
Although I agree with you that they need to do some toning down on powercreep (and in my opinion do some heavy nerfing in wild now that they are supporting it more), I don't agree with you that cards like Leeroy and Edwin aren't problems. Edwin has almost always been a main stay in nearly every Rogue deck, and Leeroy has been in nearly every aggro deck. They have been the top tier cards of the classic set since the beginning of time and that doesn't happen when you're a balanced card.
The deck's ONLY vulnerability was already aggro. The issue was that any value oriented deck got floored by the deck because they can't handle this amount of threats over multiple turns. Aggro decks like secret mage and odd paladin didn't need help to get a foot hold in wild, they are already there.
Having two of these in hand would make it a coin flip on whether the right target got the discount, and I'm relatively sure that discounts aren't shared when a copy is made.
We have seen very little of either class so far and neither of the cards for Paladin seem that awful either so far. Even if they were I feel like Paladin has been in a pretty solid place for a while in the past even if I don't know standard format well enough to say they are right now.
That was because of inconsistencies on whether ghosts could be considered beasts. Bonemare wasn't a beast for example, and thus one might think with the old art that it was a ghost and therefore should not be a beast.
I honestly think they would rather we not know it. That way if the brawl goes south and ends up being one people didn't like they could just reveal it a little later and claim that we got to the amount whether we did or not, since they have to reveal it eventually anyway.
Maybe this won't be a popular opinion but I feel like if they're going to be promoting wild and encouraging players to spend their money on it they need to also take a greater interest in it. They are extremely slow and hesitant with changes of any kind despite there being several problem cards in wild.

As the brood mother for proto drakes one could almost consider Veranus to be close to the same level as an Aspect.

Great stuff and all but just for the record no one thought that the nerf to Barnes would stifle Big Priest.

If you actually look at the art this is already very beast like. Armadillos are beasts.
