Greetings ladies and gentlemens. My name is FirePaladin and I’m mostly Wild player. I have big experience with a lot of card games but I stick to Hearthstone where I not only play for fun, but also hit the highest ranks multiple times with a multiple deck archetypes. You may know me from my Reno Mage build, Boomsday Control Warrior or Friday Wild Fun segment that I was making for a while on this site. Let me introduce you to new segment dedicated to Wild which is dedicated to Wild underdogs. It is dedicated to the decks that have ton of potential and are at least Tier 2-worthy but are overlooked because most of the community doesn't play them.
Today I want you to introduce to Murloc Paladin build. The first appearance of the deck was when the League of Explorers Adventure was added into the game about 3 years ago now. The deck is build around strong wincodition, And that is efficiently OTKing your opponent with Mulrocs trough Anyfin Can Happen. Yes, Standard players might be suprised but Wild folks still have this card in their collection, and they still have Old Murk-Eye too.
Your goal is to set up your Anyfin Can Happen ASAP. For that reason, your deck containts recruit cards, and draw options. Call to Arms,Loot Hoarder andSolemn Virgil are doing amazing job. They are doing their job so good, that you can outhdraw Druid or Miracle Rogue sometimes. The list that I share is more combo based and more aggresive. Overall all minions are either hard to remove or do something good for their mana cost.Dirty Rat [/card]is not only amazing recruit target, but a pain in the ass for Druid and other combo decks as well. Draw, push damage, clear, set up the Murlocs. Your first Anyfin Can Happen is doing more than 20 dmg. The second one is going above 30 dmg from these little guys which results in the OTK. A question that you might ask is: Where is [card]Finja, the Flying Star? I decided to not include him due to the fact that he polutes your Murloc ressurection pool for Anyfin so he is not that cruacial. There are already a lot of card draw options and 5 mana 2/4 is not that strong compared to Call to Arms.
Card replacements
I made this deck as budget as possible but you can obviously replace some cards with better ones:
One of the reasons why you should play this instead of Druid is kinda simple: nothin except Gnomeferatu andCounterspellcan counter you directly. Transform effect and other murlocs can mess you up. But you can play around transform by sacrificing your murlocs and if you are playing against other Murloc decks then 10 mana fill your board is strong still(even though it messes up your Murloc graveyard). Overall weakness is the fact that Druid might be faster because of the ramps but this deck should be good and be a solid Tier 2 one.
Are you enjoying the deck? Then check out the previous one from the last week:
