As Kelthuzad, I managed to ressurrect three Haunted Creeper in a row, followed by a Spectral Spider. My opponent Rafaam finished his staff and drew into Deathwing on his first roll.
I've played twice, with rafaam and won both times, coz early staff was op to give me death wing right when i needed to win. rafaams 0 mana spells are also useful, kelthuzad is not too OP imho, especially if he doesn't get that cool legendary
First three games played I was Rafaam and got roflstomped fairly quickly each game. Instantly conceded my next two Rafaam games so that I could try for Kel'thuzad. Managed to get a game as KT and my opponent instantly conceded. Tons of fun. See you next week.
Kind of amusing the people saying KT is OP and an instawin. RNG has a lot to do with it, but so does making tempo plays and not trying to win without taking a single point of damage - you have 60 hp for crissakes.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Also, KT doesn't have a lot of answers in the form of spells so no removal, while rafaam has flame strike and a lot of cheap 0 mana spells to constantly keep the board in check. STOP SAYING KELTHUZAD IS OP
unfarmable, no control over our decks and comes without gimmicks to exploit for easy concede/wins for fast gold. puff puff pack pass. junk brawl yet again.

Disagree. Just won with Rafaam. and quite handidly too, The hero power get one legendary and it costs less (once you power it up with the proper cards) I just won with 30 hp left.
I'm surprised to see so many claims that KT is the overpowered one, when in the one game I played I just roflstomped my opponent with Rafaam. I guess I need some more testing.
So here is one very interesting combo I was able to do. As Kel I was able to summon Gothik as my first minion and he died relatively quickly making him summon the first spectral Gothik. Then I resurrected him and played duplicate. Keep on summoning more Gothiks and reviving them and my enemy's board was filled with spectral Gothik's and just bled to death.

Rafaam will win if KT draws bad.

aren't these kind just teh bestestes?
Guess what?
Rafaam can get crazy out of reach if he gets Malygos.
I was pretty hyped for it but then saw how the Naxx bosses didn't even have sound effects... pretty disappointed. This could've been so much more epic
Its fangs are in your flesh before its hiss leaves your ears.
Golden Heroes: Druid -> Rogue -> Shaman -> Hunter -> Warlock
Step 1: Play Heigan the Unclean.
Step 2: Play Duplicate.
Step 3: Play more Heigan the Unclean and resurrect (Necromancy) more Heigan the Unclean.
Step 4: Enjoy easy win.
Of course that whole line of play fails miserably if your opponent turns your first Heigan the Unclean into a Pit Snake.
Just like in the Heoric modes, Kel'Thuzad beats Rafaam all day.
Blizz needs to really take the cahllenge to balance this fight, just like with the seocnd round between Ragnaros and Nefarian.
Edit: Anyone got the decklist? Just got Reno Jackson with 10 cards (with Rafaam) and no effect.
I just won with Rafaam.

I thought KT was overpowered at first too, but then I won a bunch of times as Rafaam, and now I think the brawl is pretty well balanced.
50 / 50 for me...

For me, after 15 brawls: Kel won 12 times, Raaffam lost 3 times.
1) New Brawl with pre-built decks? Check
2) People having no idea what both of the decklists look like? Check
3) As a result of 2, not understanding the theme of the deck, therefore (horribly) misplaying and claiming it's unbalanced and Kelthuzad is OP? Check
