Ive cleared shaw and tess so far, darius seems doable just need to try a couple more times. Toki however feels so underpowered. Her heropower is just useless unless it's to reroll a yogg or get intel with the hand swap minions but other than that it feels like you cant do much of anything and die too fast. Any advice would be appreciated.
I was storming through bosses until I got to Infinite Toki, and what a broken deck. She had double ice block to stall for 2 turns, and then played the spell to restart the game. Why is this a thing?
I want to know a few things: why her started deck has so many garbage cards? Why always i have to choose trash tier cards which even aren’t convenient to my deck?
I was lucky enough to fatigue Infinite Toki once with an Aluneth that I gave her from Blingtron 3000. Other than what was mentioned already, there's a game-winning combo where you can combine Double Time with Open the Waygate to get 3 turns in a row. In addition to Double Time, I recommend Gilnean Vigilante and Potion of Vitality are two of the best Treasures that you can get to go along with the Quest. Gilnean Vigilante gives you a handful of coins that you can use for completing the Quest.
If you get x2 spellcasts or x3 it's actually very strong with the quest ( you get 2 or 3 extra turns). It's the hardest class to win with tho, if you don't get the x2 spellcasts upgrade your hp does nothing
I won with 2 cast twice treasures, 9 dmg arcane missiles for the win lulz. Srly, it's just rng, make sure you get the best of it, if it goes wrong then it was just bad luck lol
I was really close, even after a rewind, but I forgot about the megawindfury heropower. From that one time I fought evil Toki it seems like she doesn't have a lot of direct damage power. Just stack enough removal and never let her have a single big minion and you should be OK.
I just won with treasure that sets big minions' cost to 5 and +1 mana crystal at the start of the game and a bunch of legends. All bosses were quite easy when I curved into Lich King, Mechgineer Thermaplugg or Ysera on turn 4
I beat Toki on my 2nd try as the first one I did and honestly I refuse to count the first one because I played stupidly on the first boss and forgot you can just mongo to beat the first bosses. I built around mage quest with her and i literally wrecked infinite toki

Infinite Toki never used her hero power against me. Not really sure why.
Toki is insanely RNG oriented. That said For Ultimate Toki mirror there's a few things to know.
1. Control board, unless she discovers it she has almost no burn. You can win in fatigue if you just keep the board clear.
2. After she resets the game, the draws are identical - the decks are the same order, only thing that changes are discovered spells and RNG. This is massive for playing the second match.
3. The best buffs/cards you can take with Toki (imo) are double cast, bandages and quest with as many primordial spellstones as you can find.
Lastly as mentioned above if you complete quest with double cast, you get 3 turns if cast at the beginning of the turn. Good luck!

This is actually false, I just fought Toki, and my Draws were NOT the same, first round I drew Mana Wyrm, then Artificer, then Arcane Missiles; Second round I drew Mana Wyrm again, then my SECOND Mana Wyrm, then I drew Flamestrike; so while the INITIAL draw MAY be the same, subsequent draws are NOT.
At the second try I beated the complete run with Toki. I just took "all minions don't cost more than 5 mana" + "start with 1 mana more" and picked as many high cost legy cards a could, ended up with 4-5x Lich King, 3x Antonidas, 2x Ysera, 1x Kel Thuzard and 2-3 other high cost legy minions (about > 1/3 of my deck was full of these minions at the end of the run). At turn 4 forward I could drop a bomb as often then I want and can't spend all the extra carddraw I got. :D
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.
For me the key card to get was the Double Time , it's absolutely bonkers when you use it with stuff like Anti-Magic Shell on a board of random minions or Molten Reflection on cards like Ragnaros the Firelord . Oh and the Time Warp (quest reward) works with it too, giving you 2 extra turns. Built the deck around chaos and elementals with a lot of spell generators, specifically many Spellslinger (AI seems too dumb to handle random spells correctly) and 0 secrets/burn, was an interesting run. Found the hero power most useful for rerolling randomly generated spells and correcting obvious misplays. Very powerful hero power if you use it for exactly that. Don't focus on burn cards, focus on spell generation and rerolling
Forgot to mention the other obvious advantage of the hero power. Figuring out enemy secrets!
Enemy plays a secret: Use your turn to poke with a stick, then "reboot". This gives you a huge advantage. Especially the final boss uses a lot of secrets. That and clearing the board, don't want to take 20 face damage for nothing, especially if über Toki uses that 10 mana reset spell
The restart the game Spell she has is just about one of the most stupid things I've seen here. You are about to win and she restarts and you draw badly, BOOM, fuck you start over. This is unbelievably annoying because Toki is the most irritating to play with all the RNG she has. If you are unlucky like me, prepare for a bunch of runs to complete it. Still haven't done it, but I even managed to lose on the first boss, that is how stupid the class is with everything being random...
Even Kripp lost on the first boss after a successful Toki run. He also claims she has the worst starter deck of them all

I won with first spell cast twice, spells cost -1, and mage quest + RNG spell generators.
You get TWO EXTRA TURNS if you complete quest with first spell cast twice.

First try with Double Time + a lot of Arcane Missiles, Cinderstorm and Greater Arcane Missiles

Rng equals fun (blizz opinion TM)

Question everything.

Better question is how do you win with Shaw? His cards are pure trash
