Do you always have the same last boss depending on the class you play with? That's pretty nice. I just lost to that guy after burning his entire deck (including his Kingsbane) and then sabotating his fel reaver. He proceeded to still beat me down using Tess's weapon card I foolishly gave him with cho 6 turns earlier. Revenge will soon be mine.
I don't think so.
While I'm fairly sure the pirate boss is Tess's Nemesis due to quotes that showed up during the fight. My first final boss with Darius was called the Forlorn Lovers (I had cannons discount my stuff so she wasn't that bad). There were no specific quotes, and I'm fairly sure if Darius has a nemesis it's Godfrey.
You either got a bug or mis-remember - all four heroes are supposed to have a specific nemesis final boss. For Tess it's the pirate with the rogue weapon, for Darius it's Godfrey
Weird I just destroyed that pirate - almost as easy as the first boss - They included Felreavers in his deck and I went trapper all the way so I burned through his deck in 3 turns.
Depends on how things get played. When I was up against the Pirate, he didn't play a Felreaver until late, but dropped Troggzor the Earthenator really early and I was just f***ed, despite having double-double HP for 180 Health. I was just too far behind on board, too many of the spells I could discover were weapon-buffs, and I never drew a weapon of my own.
I wrecked on my way up, the treasure spell to reduce all my cards by 3 mana, plus Malygos and burn, but the draws--mine and the Pirate's--just worked out wrong.
I did a "real" OTK with Sinister Strike (which is in the base deck) yesterday. The passive reduces the costs to 0 so easy game (and not so much cards to play as with the stone :D )
Whisperer can be very easy sometimes. In my last game, I got The Coin from that Gargoyle (created by opponents Devolve). Took me a while to realize that with Whisperer's passive hero power, any damage spell + Coin = infinite damage.
Coin is pretty much insta-win against Whisperer as long as you have any kind of spell that can target the Hero. Even if you have no spell, you can play your entire board by refilling mana with infinity Coins.

Nah, every class has a final boss and it never changes. You probably thought you were on the final boss but was actually on 6-7.

Not sure why ppl feel the need to dig up a thread over a month old and respond to a comment already addressed. No, I really did fight lovers as my last fight on that run, and yes it was a bug as there were pics of people getting gobbles as a final boss on reddit. I actually still have not fought Godfrey despite beating Hagatha.
I just did this also lmao. Easiest win vs the computer i ever had.
I had a treasure that reduced my non starting deck cards by 1. i could literally go on forever with the buff lol.
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Well...
I just hated playing as time-tinker... -.- never lucky
That is too often tho I had similar result with Toki
Do or do not. There is no try.

Also happened to me, was half expecting the boss to interrupt my exodia but luckily that didn't happen :D
On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
three Handlock decks,
two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3
Disclaimer: This is a fictional poem and this didn't actually happen to me.
